"More than a feeling" Emma, you won't be disappointed.
The lead singer Brad Delp also provides the background vocals on the studio albums. He is the only voice you hear.
And just about everything else you hear on the album was created by Tom Scholz. 😁

And he's very missed.
Brad Delp was an exceptional singer, he is up there with Freddy Mercury (Queen) and Ronnie James Dio (Rainbow, Black Sabbath & Dio - and a bunch more). One of my favorite voices.
That riff has been in my head for well over 40 years. So they did something right.
Boston is a great American rock band who had their biggest success in the 70's-80's. They had a lot of great songs such as "More Than A Feeling", "Foreplay/Long Time", "Peace Of Mind", "Rock & Roll Band", "A Man I'll Never Be", "Feelin' Satisfied", Smokin'", "We're Ready", "Amanda", "Hitch A Ride", "Hollyann", "Cool The Engines" etc.
One of the greatest straight ahead rock bands of all time!
Emma, you picked perhaps one of the very best debut albums of all time. Boston's debut album is without reproach the best ever. ❤❤❤
If you like this you will love “More Than A Feeling”, “Foreplay/Long Time”, and “Peace of Mind”.
Their first 3 albums are fire ... Foreplay /Longtime--Boston songs are joined and are awesome
I saw Boston in Phoenix in 1978. I girl I was dating got tickets for the concert and we went downtown from Tempe. When we sat down in Veterans Coliseum, this clowns behind us got into a fight and I had to jump in to keep those jerks from stumbling over into us. After that, the concert started and Boston blew us out of our seats. Excellent band.
"More Than A Feeling" was an instant classic and has stood the test of time!
One of my favorite bands along with Triumph and Rush. RIP Brad :(

Boston is the best all-time, particularly while driving.
This album came out a couple years after I graduated from high school, I had their first album too.
From about 1974/75 to 1979/80 there were a number of killer myst have records.

❤ Saw them live in Dallas Texas in 1986 at the fair grounds back then the event was called The Texas Jam including Boston there were 4 other bands they blew my mind with the talent on that stage that night thanks for sharing and bringing back the memories nice reaction Emma thank you lovely.
6/20/1987. I was there with you and 80000 of our friends. Just before them was Poison, Tesla, Whitesnake, and Aerosmith doing their 1st show since the 70s.

The guitar player in the white jumpsuit is the creator of this band AND all the music- Tom Sholz, MIT graduate and musical and electronic genius!
Listen to Peace of Mind or A Man I'll Never Be they are both as good as each other. Totally Awersome.
This is the album audio. Brad is doing ALL the vocals.
In fact its perfectly the album. I used to play the drum part on my own set verbatim. Visually Sib is never matching the audio.

Great band, I seen them in Denver 1978 , wore this album. The drummer Sib Hashian, who died in 2017, his daughter is married to the "Rock" Duane Johnson.
You've been to Boston now it's time to visit Kansas. The live version of Carry On Wayward Child is excellent. Then, head on over to Chicago and check out the videos from their Tanglewood concert. Enjoy! 🙂
This band used to get the respect they deserve but these days they're often overlooked. I just watched the video you did with Journey (Steve Perry) and you couldn't ask for two better lead vocalists. RIP Brad.
