Tench Fishing Tinka Tinka first of the Year

A positive session today yielding Carp to 10lbs, Tench, Roach and Rudd. We fluked out a 10lb pike as well which grabbed a decent Rudd. High pressure drifted over us today in Norfolk which definitely made a difference. Cold North Easter made for a chilly start but the bites kept coming...apart from lunch time. A deep, clear, weedy gravel pit, well stocked with an Otter proof fence. Tench came right at the end as I was packing up the gear. 4 red maggots got the fish, worm got 1, size 10 hook on a 30g maggot feeder rig. Snape
