I have insomnia, so whenever its really late and i cant sleep at all, I always put this song on, it really calms me dwon and helps me get to sleep, the title is pretty fitting to be honest

Me and one of my exes used to have an alarm set to this song to go off every night at 10pm. No matter how far apart we were we knew we would be hearing the same song at the same time. She was one of my Tru loves... One of the ones that changes your view of what love feels like. Hearing this song sends me into an emotional train wreck every time I hear it... I was 12 when I first heard this song, struggling with depression & self-harm. I felt alone as I didn’t really have friends. I remember being awake as my family was asleep, listening to this crying trying to sleep but wishing I never woke up the next day. I would get beat up in school & just wanted it all to end. I struggled for a while, even tried to take pills at 15/16. I’m now 24, going on 25 with 2 kids. I still struggle with depression, but not like I used to. I’m glad I’m alive. This song brings back to many feelings I can’t describe, but I am thankful I’m alive & here today. 🤍
This is why I love Of Mice and Men so much: They have really powerful & heavy songs like Bones Exposed and The Storm but at the same time they have songs like When You Can't Sleep At Night and Another You that are really slow with really deep lyrics.

I was diagnosed with anxiety and this thing song helps me with calming down. Most nights when I'm laying in bed struggling to sleep is when I have panic attacks but this song makes everything seem fine. It lets me take my mind of world. Even if it's just for a few minutes I'm so grateful for this song and the beautiful band that made it.
