I can't help but hurt when I hear this song on my playlist. I lost both of my parents this year. I know that this is not what this song is technically about, but I cared for my dad in my home during his few weeks of hospice. I still feel him here.
My condolences to you. I nearly lost both of my parents this year. My dad made it through COVID, but it about took his life. My mom, though, didn’t make it.
Losing one parent is hard, and I can not imagine losing both in the same year. Music has been my solace, and it has especially been my solace when my mom passed.
