    I'll never forget the 1st time I went 110 mph in a flat bottom boat. It was my Uncle Mike Hickman's (rest in peace) in Arizona. That was a nasty small block Chevy he had. Friggin' unreal to experience.

    Really miss my flatties but started racing and the MPH of the Kurtis 500 really blew away the flat... Only problem? Hydro made a crap lake boat (and dry headers)... Flat was super fun, Hydro super fast... Sounds like you have a fine power plant waiting to be tested... :) ya know it is going well when you look down and the plate is set two notches lower than usual and ya still flyn... hahahahah

    Cool build for sure but, Ether those headers were used or this is not the first start up. Chrome headers only discolor when they get hot, and those headers were starting to turn blue before it started up.

    • @thehillbillyhierarchy
      @thehillbillyhierarchy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You’re not wrong! I guess a better name for the video would be fresh RE-build. The headers were added last year on the previous build. They probably don’t have more than 20 hours on them though. The lower end (minus crank/rods) and valve train is all new though.
