I don't understand the difference between LOCal and REMote modes. If in local and remote modes we can configure VFD to run via drive's HMI or digital inputs, i think these two modes are the same, isn't it? Please explain it, thank you :)

You are correct - they are the same. They could have been called "Configuration_1" and "Configuration_2" bur because most folks use them in a remote and local fashion, the convention is to call them "Remote" and "Local" modes. Exactly, You may consider the drive to be remote from the control room, but others might consider the control room to be remote from the drive. It's entirely up to you and how you prefer to name things.
