Soooo, I followed ur recommendAtion and downloaded the software and now watching this video.
I am not quite sure I understand it, yet. Those com modules...I googled those that u had mentioned but it all looks very different than the little grey piece u plugged in 😬 So I suppose it HAS to be the one from Weg that needs to be used? Since we are in Panama City, that will be a bit tricky to get...is there an OEM solution?
Thanks so much for ur help,

The com shown is for a WEG CFW300 - which I assume you are using. If so, you can find those on the Automationdirect website here:

Panama City Florida? or Panama City PANAMA?
If Panama, our international resellers are here: www.automationdirect.com/adc/international/international#1

@@automationdirect 😂😂😂 Panama City PANAMA!! That’s why it’s a little tricky. Guess we would have to fly it in then 🙈 will take a look at the int. Resellers. Thanks for ur help!

@@automationdirect okay I found the product on ur site. Panama does not have a reseller unfortunately. So...we cannot just use the USB port 😂🙈.
The problem is that the person who runs the project that I am helping is leaving next week and I wanted to help them get their machine running before that. But I guess we can just check all the wiring set up that goes to the cfw300 to makes sure there is no problem and mess around with a multimeter for now to see if we can read out the fluctuating power. And play with some of the parameters for deceleration and voltage tolerance cause for that we don’t need the software right?

@@WhiteSpotPirates Correct, You don't need the software for that but it does make it MUCH easier to visualize.
One more thought. Are you aware that our Tech Support is FREE? They are much better at this stuff than I am. Contact them, fill them in and see if they have any creative ideas. Look for the "Contact Us" block on this page: support.automationdirect.com/
