Am I the only one who likes the front end on the 720s more than the 750s? The black front "splitter" on the 720s gave it a sleeker illusion while the new monochromatic front end looks a tad bit chunky in contrast. The rear end on the 750s however is absolutely stunning especially the massive central exhaust. LOVE that
yes I think the same, makes the car look more friendlier, they did this to make it more futuristic, but that doesn't work for this car, I like what Lamborghini did with the revuelto, it still has that aggressive front grill making it look like a supercar. The kind of front 750s has would work better on their gt model.
The design on the 720s was/is awesome and i think going for a facelift like this, is a great choice! With better electronics and software in it than before, it deserves another chance to see more on the road and of course, hear better things about it besides the speed. Incredible cars!
Love it. I can see the 765LT body but softened like the 720S, and I can see the Speedtail inspiration in the front. I think a lot of people were waiting for McLaren to do this car, and I'm sure the buyers will be glad they did.

Definitely, a facelift 720s, but the upgrades (exterior and interior) definitely make it a different. I'm a car enthusiast and tech guy so the new entertainment center made my day.
I think the front looks akward now. The 720s is my favorite designed car ever, so I might be somewhat biased. The original look in a deep sunrise orange is just design perfection in my eyes. I also thought that the original 720s spyder ruined the look from the back.
I have a car design I put together 23 years ago, I took it out last week just too bring back memories. It never went past paper drawings and it’s amazingly still a design that hasn’t been used yet and also not to hard to build. Maybe it’s time I build the thing. I used to race something similar 5 days a week and always figured someone else would do it, It never happen.
Will be interesting to see how this stacks up against the Senna and 765lt. With improved aero, power to weight ratio and improved handling, I'm going to hazard a guess that the 750s is going to perform far greater on a track than some might guess. Going to have to wait for the reviewers to get their hands on it and do some comparisons.

I think the iterative design approach is something most manufacturers overlook when creating something new. The 720s was beautiful and fast and this is the next step in the ethos of that car. Big up McLaren

Speak it into existence and do your best to make it so. To me I love cars but even if I was a billionaire I wouldn't pay that much for a car. I would but a veteran a house first.
It's almost the exact same in terms of looks and I think I know why. They have always suffered in resale value so I think this will help with maintaining the values of the 720 platform.
McLaren continues to expand on a formula that has worked for so many years and the performance numbers just back that up. Continue to do what you do and no one will doubt your dominance.
As a continuation to the 720's this just makes a lot of sense the rear section just looks amazing if I could have changed one thing though and this is going to sound kind of silly I would have added a few more Vents and louvers especially over the wheel Arches but that's small things this car is a homerun for sure especially the rear end section of the car in my opinion is one of the best-looking rear-end sections on any McLaren ever great job Mcclaren
Guys, very cool video! The new model is simply excellent and excites my mind! This is a breakthrough in the field of mechanical engineering! It's a pity that now we won't see v12 in sports cars :( But I'm sure that the engineers will cope with this and give a performance!
@RSF Leader oh absolutely, the 720s is a fantastic platform so any improvement on that is bound to make it better to drive, I just prefer the looks of the 720, but no discredit to the 750s capabilities! Now you mention it, some widebody kits could actually look quite clean on this
It's a more sophisticated and aerodynamic design than the 720s. The muffler is fixed in the center and the wing is the same as the 765LT, so I think the downforce will be stronger.
I always thought that the 720s lacked something in comparison to the 765lt, it missed that aggressive feeling and "wow factor". The 750s doesn't. It's absolutely beautiful, aggressive and in my opinion the best McLaren to be released yet. Great job!
Don't you think it should have Ben a progression from the 765? An 800 or 820? The Artura was a mistake. The Ferrari set the bench mark with SF 90 then reinforced if with the 296. EV's are commonly over 1KBHP so supercars only have weight, style & driver dynamics/handling!
@@kevinburke6743 the 765 is not a successor to the 720 its a different trim level of the same car, like the 675lt was to the 650s. That's like saying there shouldn't be a w205 c300 because it's weaker than the w204 c63, every new model doesn't have to be more powerful than the previous chassis, when the 750 gets an lt version it'll definitely be more powerful than the 765.
@@chiefdenis It depends what you call trim? Trim is feature like aircon. climate control in 4 zones for standard equipment & such. An up lift of 45BHP and better brakes handling & suspension. Not to mention Price & Exclusivity(profitability.) They had to something on the Quick Label due to the lack of appeal/sale of the Artura! Ferrari blew the lid of the Hypercar Hybrid Genre! The S.F. 90 just nailed it. Hybrid are seen as neither nor! The Fezza is both. Clean & (pollution including Noise) quiet in the city and the Classic V8 in more rural & city environments. As the the SF90 Trumps the 765LT the 750 needs to slaughter the Fezza 296 GTB & GTC. Which I doubt. MCL have become the Fiat/Maserati of Supercars. Nothing on them is a patch on their Depreciation!
They have like 3 cars that they just make look slightly different. I love these cars, but like, they're the same almost. It's like if a regular manufacturer released a new model year of a car and called it a whole new model

NGL It looks almost exactly the same as the 720S on the exterior with very minor tweaks. The interior looks a bit different. But overall disappointed it looks the same. With 30 extra HP.
you reach a point where all the minor details matter. this should be a supercar not a hipercar like senna or p1, and in supercar category it exceles. If you don't care about the minor improvements buy a Porsche.
As much as we want a replacement this is the way to go McLaren, a facelift with enough goodies to make the new costumers happy while keeping the value of the 720s floating for the owners to enjoy their cars without value anxiety!

I have never seen better looking rims than one on this.
I can see the P1 rear light and 720s airwing, hope it will be a new masterpiece.
