Samson it's okay. We all panic. You had parked up fine on the left. I screamed Stooooop don't go on the pavement 😅 You're a decent driver. Just a few basics like lane discipline and mirrors need some work but you can drive. Good luck with your next test brother 👍🏼
I don’t think Pin realises how much his videos help!!! I passed my driving test on Friday with 3 Minors and watched around 5 videos before I went 😂😂😂😂Watching these videos help so much if you have ur test coming up!!!! I’m now apart of the “Passed but still watches driving lessons” gang
Your content has really helped me understand what NOT to do during the test and as a result, I am pleased to say that I passed my driving test this Friday in Redditch on my first attempt with 7 minors. Thank you for the content and keep up the great work. Now I have officially joined the "passed but still watching" gang and can watch your mock test videos without any pressure😂
@@Ana517 congratulations 🥳 Redditch is a tricky place to give the test. Too many blind corners, uphills and downhills, along with lots of spiral roundabouts
“I shouldn’t be up here” ..I couldn’t help but laugh, I hope the car was ok 😂, his expression was like he’d been caught in a sweet shop stealing all the best ones 😂
Just wanted to say thanks for all of these video! A combination of learning with parents and watching these videos enabled me to pass first time with just two minors after 6 weeks of driving. I saved so much money by using these videos instead of having to get an instructor. You're an absolute legend, keep it up!
He didn't seem to like parking on the side on main roads. That's when he mounted the pavement and when he turns left onto a side road. Both were busier roads.
Mate don’t worry about it I’ve been driving for 10+ years and today selected neutral to set off. I was like FML and just laughed 😂 good luck to you bro
I’ve been driving for 12 years now , and I have an obsession over watching this 😂, tbf watching this has even helped me sometimes and is quite surprising how you can forget to do things after passing after years .
Same here! I passed my test over 18 years ago, in the centre of Cambridge, but I love watching these videos and they really make me stop & think about my own driving habits.
Can you please do a video about the marks(white tape?) you put on the door panel what are those? Sighting points? Turning points? What are they used for? How did you come about it? How is it measured? Also maybe if it's not too much to ask, a general Driving Instructor car set up, maybe you could talk about those white tapes on the door etc, how many mirrors do you have? Is there 2 rear view mirrors 1 for driver 1 for front passenger? What about right side mirror? 2 right side mirrors 1 on top of the other? linked with your seating position etc, and maybe even a when to intervene video. I'm just getting into this field and you are my model thank you so much
I'd like to say thank you very much for all your videos, they helped me save money even though my instructor was very nice. I passed on my 3rd go today. Now I can watch your videos knowing I passed
Hi Pin. I've been watching your videos for quite some time whilst I've been learning to drive, and they have helped me expand my knowledge a lot. I took my driving test today, and I'm happy to say that I passed with 0 faults. Thanks a lot for all the content.
The reason why he didn't park up there at the end of the test is because it would have been a fail in Kenya. Examiners actually trick you by asking you to park up at a similar spot just so you fail
I passed when I was 17, now im 26 - I have always wondered about redoing my driving test to see if I would pass, I would love to be able to do a mock test with you guys, I am third party insured etc etc, If this is possible let me know and i will instagram DM you. Could be a good series as I reckon a lot of people would want to do this too.
Even though I have been driving for years, I still like to watch these videos because it reminds me of how much patience you have to have with learner drivers. It keeps me humble lol. I realise that driving instructors are also at risk at all times with a new learner driver; they're putting their lives on the line. One wrong move might cause a serious road traffic collision which could badly injure both of them or worse. It might be something as simple as not checking to the right when approaching a roundabout. A car might have been coming around that the learner didn't see, and boom. Dead.
Excellent instruction - friendly, patient. However, I would like to ask a learner when he uses the MSM routine, what would he do if he saw a car close behind in the left lane as he was about to exit a roundabout? You look in the mirror to see if it's safe to carry out a manoeuvre. You don't just carry on automatically after you look in the mirrors. It might be that you would need to go completely around the roundabout and indicate right instead. It just seems sometimes that learners may parrot a mantra like MSM as if it will magically save their lives without needing to think.
Just a note, I failed one of my tests due to not stopping at a stop sign where the line was rubbed out. I explained to the examiner, he said that nothing I did was unsafe (reduced speed, only went when I was sure it was clear) but not stopping at a stop sign is instant fail (even if the markings are non-existent).
Hey Pin, even though I had a great instructor these videos helped me so much. I also purchased the UDC a few days before my test just to double-check everything. Happy to say I passed the first time with 1 - harsh - minor. I'd love to see some videos of you testing recently passed drivers in your area as I didn't get half the hazards this man had on my test.
I thought that the new rules say you have to give way to pedestrians at junctions, if they are waiting to cross, whether they step onto the road or not?
I discovered some cars had reverse and first in the same place, just with a thing to lift a few weeks after i got my license. I was alone in some mercedes van, parked 20cm from a wall. Tried it a bunch of times, eventually had to go ask someone haha.

Hi pin...i passed my test today with very first attempt.i just take only 2 hours practical class but your online driving course defintly helped me alot..thank you...
When I did my lessons I was told at a stop sign you must fully stop and apply the hand break, yet I've watched many of these where they don't apply the hand break and it's never been mentioned 🤷
They like you to apply the handbrake because then the vehicle is secure. If you don’t and your foot moved on the foot break or clutch and causes your car to move that’s a fail.
He hit break so hard! And he shouldn't stop suddenly always check back mirror if there is a car or naah also for stopping always stop slowly and on side of the roadd
Breaking should've happened before pressing the clutch Didn't check blindspots before moving off Also pulled the handbreak too harshly which assessors really do not like
This mock test is like a million times harder than my test I took yesterday in Dudley, I didn't even have any big roundabouts or dual carriageways, I almost feel like I cheated.
When Samson parked the car on the top of the kerb or pavement before he moved off are you meant to do a 6 point check and just before doing his reverse park... Is the 6 point check no longer needed
Pin, I have been paying attention to these videos, and it has an immediate effect on my knowledge on driving, my driving test is in May and I am confident!

Well, it was movie scene... with cameras and a director to boot! 😂🤣
so funny 😄😄😄😄😄
I’d like to see a compilation of the times they’ve made pin laugh
reminded me of The Inbetweeners when the music stops and they're just sitting there on the pavement
Get Samson back for another test once he has had more lessons/practice. He has such great energy.

Welcome to the DGN Alumni and congratulations
He has a Kenyan accent. I know because I'm Kenyan. Drivers in Kenya also habitually focus more on the right mirror than the left mirror.
Also, it's not quite a big deal to park on the pavement in Kenya 🤣. So he probably did that subconsciously because he's gotten used to it at home
The reason why he didn't park up there at the end of the test is because it would have been a fail in Kenya. Examiners actually trick you by asking you to park up at a similar spot just so you fail
Kenyan people seem to have such good vibes. He has a great personality and the best laugh 😃
