      20 Years Ago taking a Driving Test was Very Differren't Than Today,, Two Main Factors are The Increase in Traffic & Road Rules
      Now There's Allot more Work to do to get a License, Many Details have ben Put in Place nowadays wich requires much more Work Pratice & Focus.

    She is so close to passing, just needs to practice little areas she struggled with.
    It took me to my 3rd test to pass (failed my first two because of my nerves and anxiety).
    For my third test I made sure to binge your videos and practice everything. I also recommend going to the test area and learning the roads well (the roundabouts and junctions, pay attention to every sign)
    I passed with zero minors and had a perfect drive.
    I really appreciate you making theses videos and helping so many people to pass

    For everyone that are nervous about the test, don’t be. I understand that when you’re with a stranger, in a stranger’s car, doing something you’re not familiar with it can cause you to be nervous and over think some things. When driving always pay attention to your surroundings, use both side mirrors and you should always peak at your rear mirror every 20-30 seconds to see what’s behind you and how the driver behind you is acting. For testing, drop all bad habits(don’t drive with one hand on the wheel or both feet near both the acceleration and brake pedal). Once you get out of that nervous phase, you’ll see just how easy it is to drive a vehicle, of course you’ll still have bad drivers on the road doing stupid things, and regardless of what people say it is your job to ensure your own safety and not to collide with the many reckless drivers on the road. When I first started driving I was always nervous about hitting something or someone, I had to get out of that mindset of expecting failure and started having a more positive mindset. Now I’m classed as a Master Driver in the US Army, I took many safety driving courses and even took and completed combat driver’s school and master driver’s school, I now teach soldiers on how to drive efficiently and safely in many different vehicles in the military, from Humvees, up armored vehicles, to big trucks and track vehicles. I’m not the smartest person in the world, so if I can do it everyone here can do it 👍

      @@zarabukhari6621 I think not caring works wonders. I passed my test last Thursday despite it being nearly cancelled. I arrived late because the traffic in the area was standstill. Even the examiner said he shouldn't even really be doing the test anymore. Not to mention the weather was awful, so by the time I actually started I didn't care anymore because of how badly the day started. I went on to pass first time with 0 faults. Don't go into it thinking you need to pass, because it puts unnecessary pressure on yourself.

    11:02 It amazes me that being too cautious for a few seconds is a serious, but literally having no visibility and checking a blind spot as you've already moved off is a minor.
    15:20 My instructor tells me off for driving on the other side of the road in this situation!

    • @boreragnarok249
      @boreragnarok249 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      There’s no cars on the other side coming towards her. I’m sure your instructor (and your insurance company) would much rather you go slightly over the centre line, rather than scratch or hit stationary vehicles on the left.

    • @Flaruwu
      @Flaruwu ปีที่แล้ว +5

      For the first point, serious vs minor is normally determined by how it affects other drivers. Moving off without checking would be a serious (or even dangerous) if someone behind you had to slow down, but if there was nobody around it'd only be a minor as long as long it isn't consistently happening.

    • @keith6400
      @keith6400 ปีที่แล้ว

      In the first case it is likely the driver following has had to brake sharply with such an obvious clear and safe roundabout which they have already anticipated.
      When passing parked cars on the left with no oncoming traffic why would anyone drive close to them?

    Can anyone please explain why students are taught to wait at lights in first gear? Not only do I consider this a dangerous thing to do, but so do all sources I could find? Why are students told to wear out the clutch bearing needlessly and also risk jumping forwards if their foot slips off the clutch and the parking brake needs servicing? It seems to me that the safe and sensible thing to do is be in neutral and *_ALWAYS_* have your foot on the brake pedal. As far as I'm concerned, the parking brake is optional, but nothing too wrong with using it (even though it's called "parking brake" for a reason...).

    Hi pin I love all your videos. And I’ve downloaded your ultimate driving course which is helping me a lot as I’m learning to drive. Right now I’ve taken 6 hrs worth of lessons. Next 2 hr lesson is on 31st March. On Monday I received my trainers. Very nice x comfortable. Will let you know how they were driving in them. I can’t wait. 😁

    I didn’t know hesitation counted as a serious, when I did my test it counted as a minor (2016/2017)

    Hi Guys, Just wanted to tell you I did my test in Czech republic and I know you will not believe but there is everyone who passed their course had to do that without a single mistake. Here in UK is it very free to get licence and it is visible, on the roads it looks like sometimes there are so many drivers have no idea what is going on. It is very frustrating sometimes.. Yeaand daddy driving scholl is really bad idea. Have a nice day. :)

    I remember getting my license in the Caribbean they would have go in an steep incline and if you couldn’t balance that clutch and the vehicle runs back you failed right on the spot..I also noticed a lot of the students in your videos every time they stall they always try starting the car in gear I would put it in neutral cause they might be a chance your foot could slip of the clutch or you might not pick up the drive then you’re goin stall again as soon you start the vehicle and get whiplash

    @10:50 missing a gap or two at roundabouts should be a driving fault provided that it wouldn’t affect any other road users. I don’t know why you gave Freya a serious fault

    Hey pin, I failed my part 2 adi test yesterday, I drive trucks and it was a serious fault for not checking my middle mirror, any advice on how to check the mirror more, I KNOW I need to check it, just while under test pressure I forget and go into a driving mode I'm used too

    Oh that’s nothing. I did a mock test before my driving test I got 2 minors and my instructor said I’d pass easily/ fast forward 15 minutes after
    I start my test within the first 20 seconds I managed to get a dangerous fault 10 seconds after I got 2 serious faults. The instructor had to stop it and get out and said I was a danger.
    Trust me guys if you know you could feel nervous and it could affect you speak to someone about it or get something for that day which could combat nerves. A completely different person judging and inspecting you can completely throw you off and feel like your first ever lesson. Nerves and them affecting you is a real thing make sure you try and combat them before the test

    Why is waiting a bit at the roundabout a serious fault?

    • @ellisj98
      @ellisj98 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Because it was clear to go and stopping at a round about is a serious if it’s clear due to holding up traffic.

    And why is it a serious, its only hesitation?

    I honestly dont see a driving instructor not teaching mirrors lol i mean i dont understand how this instructor would still be around. I always take what pupils tell me with a pinch of salt. If this is correct info then you got riped off completly and may of even been a PDI with little to no exp. PDI fine on 2 hour lessons as they need to gain exp somewhere but should not be allowed to do Intensive.
