The Push-Button Start feature DOES NOT require you to place the key fob in the ignition slot. I always have my key fob in my pocket and start the vehicle. 2014 S60. To be quite honest, she is just splitting hairs here. There aren't too many buttons and it doesn't look dated. The trunk/boot size is great and not too small at all. As for technology, Volvo isn't about cluttering up their vehicles with tacky or unnecessary or distracting programs. It's safe, simplistic and I absolutely love their design.

Those Chevrolets and kias having touch screen you simply can't understand that, and then hat about the lack of presence button to unlock the car, you have to put the key too to start the car..... even my girlfriend CX5 starts with the key on her purse.....I really don't mind it cuz I'm spartan but most of people do

Those reviews are biased towards german cars. Volvos are state of art, safety and comfortable! They just dont put nonsense hightech that are useless. Volvo is classy and powerful enough. Love my V60 and wont trade for any bmw or benz. I could try a lexus ... but really ain’t happen !

The good thing about cars these days is that there's one for everyone. If someone doesn't like a Volvo, they can get a car they like. If someone likes a Volvo, they can get a Volvo. In this class, most of them are good cars. There is no one "best."

It would have been more complicated if there were more functions per button which will mean that if you want something on or off something else will be affected agains't your will because it had to share button with other functions because people don't want it to be seperate on the dash. And soon with less buttons people will start complaining about why this and that doesn't have it's own button. It's an evil circle, neither way will be good enough so just DEAL WITH IT! Some have less and some have more and it's a part of the variation so everyone can find a car they like. Some like it and some not, we can't have every car the same way. Every test driver in every car test video is incompetent in their views and disrespectful to how others might think different.
