I am going this location soon for my test and I’m so nervous! What are the specific rules when it comes the handling of the steering wheel? That part is what makes me nervous and hope I don’t get failed for doing like hand over hand or something..Any suggestions??
First of all, do not be nervous. Keep calm and focused. Holding the steering wheel is individuals preference. People usually rotate the wheel with one hand while still loosely holding with other hand and then slide or bring the hand back to normal position.
When you’re backing up or going in reverse is it okay to use one hand on the wheel and the other one on the passenger seat to turn the head and look behind or do I have to just look at the mirrors? Thank you for the video!
I tested at this location yesterday. For the parking portion they only had me do reverse parking. After this, I went driving on the road with an instructor in the passenger seat for about 10 minutes.
@@campaignofficials After passing the parking section I made a right out of the MVA and traveled up Bowmans Farm Road. I yielded at the merge and then continued straight on E Patrick Street. From there my memory kind of drops off because that is when I started to really focus in but your instructor will guide you with clear instructions. My instructor was Kristen and she was great!
Driving skills test has 3 point turn, backing up, forward parking and reverse parking. They didn’t take us to the road. So driving test is very simple and easy. I think it’s because of Covid. It may change soon.
@@sangilikaruna9847 you start from point A, drive straight to complete your forward park. Once you park successfully, you come out of parking you will be asked to go back to point A in reverse. Check out the video

Yes one hand on wheel and the other one on passengers west is absolutely fine. In fact that’s the best way to go in reverse.

Do they make the parking space bigger?
Yes. Their parking space might look little wider, but don’t count on that. Go with your driving/parking skills. Good luck
