From Wikipedia:
Frederick is a city in and the county seat of Frederick County, Maryland. It is part of the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area. Frederick has long since been an important crossroads, located at the intersection of a major north-south Native American trail and east-west routes to the Chesapeake Bay, both at Baltimore and what became Washington, D.C. and across the Appalachian mountains to the Ohio River watershed. It is a part of the Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, DC-VA-MD-WV Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is part of a greater Washington-Baltimore-Arlington, DC-MD-VA-WV-PA Combined Statistical Area. The city's population was 78,171 people as of the 2020 United States census,[3] making it the second-largest incorporated city in Maryland (behind Baltimore). Frederick is home to Frederick Municipal Airport (IATA: FDK), which accommodates general aviation, and Fort Detrick, a U.S. Army bioscience/communications research installation and Frederick county's largest employer.
Love Frederick. A beautiful town in Maryland with lots of charm.
only place that looks alright is downtown. Almost everything else is garbage that looks awful and awful to walk around. Especially by Costco and Guilford Walmart. Almost no sidewalks and looks like an ugly corporate hellscape. No wonder the kids of today kids don't go outside. Our generation ruined it. Also all the woods that we used to play in as kids being torn down and having crappy apartments being built over them because everyone and their grandma is moving here. Especially the Waverly area. Not to mention that only good part of downtown is Baker Park and the middle of downtown. Some parts are just low income hoods at this point.
*Nice!* You finally visited my childhood town of Frederick! Seeing all those streets again brings back great nostalgia.
Frederick is the best city in MD 🙌
Moved to an area just east of Frederick 12 years ago. Interesting that you chose to do a piece on it. I suppose you will tell us why when I give it a listen. I have always liked your work, and so am looking forward to this.

Muy bonito!!❤❤
Stayed here for like 6 months 10 years ago! Great drive!
I was expecting some narration. Also, the first drive is one if the less attractive routes to take through town. I could have suggested some others to show some interesting architectural areas or some other items of interest.
what camera are you using?

@5:58 if you turn left at the light you will see the temporarily adl yard (which is a trucking inc in Frederick MD)
