if you use Scrap Everything .. DO NOT have it enabled until AFTER you leave Vault 111 Through my testing I discovered that Scrap Everything is behind the Disappeating Vault Elevator and Cage Door Glitch
This is a great list and will serve as the core of a new fallout playthrough I'm planning now that the weather is getting grim. If all these mods are compatible together, then it might be nice to include a suggested load order. I look forward to your future video on graphics/weather mods. "Full Dialogue Interface" Please stop using this mod. It requires compat patches for alot of content. Extended Dialogue Interface needs no patches, and reads the conversation records directly.
Ya, as soon as I went to the files tab and saw that I had to do shit manually, I already knew that was just the tip of the spear. Just not worth all the hassle, especially for someone that has already played most of the game.

This is wonderful! I've saved most of Fallout 4 until I had a new system (last one was circa 2010) and have been slowly going through years of mod videos (in reverse order) compiling the ones I want to apply for a proper playthrough. Thanks!

NAC (natural and atmospheric commonwealth) is the best weather and lighting mod there, functions like a light ENB modifiable from your pip-boy. Photorealistic commonwealth by the same guy is a great addition if you want a proper ENB.
The point in slowing time is to get the most bang for your buck. It increases your dps the most since it increases what you can do in a second so drastically. Wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am restarting a new game in honor of my wife who passed away recently. She absolutely loved this game as well as Fallout 3 and New Vegas and I wanted to put together a mod list that would be epic enough to truly make a tribute character in her name and this is the perfect combination of mods for that.
What a great video. No clickbait, no annoying generic dubstep music thats too loud, well spoken points on each mod. Clear voice that doesn't sound like annoying buzzfeed narrators. Don't ever change.
Warning about Survivalist Go-Bags: that mod has not been updated in a long time, it was the culprit of many crashes for many people! Especially if you equip them on companions or settlers, and fast travel to the settlement that they're in. Even scrolling through the bags in the crafting menu can crash it.

After a while, when you have every Settlement producing food, water, scrap, caps, and military strength, it actually seems like the Minutemen have actually done something. I have an absolute army of powerful robots that act as my supply chain, and almost everything for building them was provided by the settlers I helped to thrive. Now, that doesn't mean the crafting game is easy. Even at their highest level industrial plants can't find or produce complex items like rubber or nuclear material, so you still have to find those, but god is it nice not having to look for steel, copper, and screws.

Thanks a lot for this list, seriously. I've spent hours upon hours making Morrowind, Oblivion and above all else Skyrim and Fallout 3 the perfect environment for me. For instance nowadays I can't play vanilla Skyrim anymore. So Fallout 4 is in sale and I thought: - "I won't be able to play this unless the survival and overall feeling of the game is enhanced by the right mods." But you just saved me the work of choosing and testing, allowing me to go straight do downloading and having fun. Thanks a lot for that, seriously!!
Instead of survival options, I used cheat terminal to alter gameplay, it's pretty much the same but with even more options for things outside survival too

I'll add some of my favourites; Elianora's Armour Compendium Eyes Of Beauty Amazing Follower Tweaks CROSS gear mods (which are many) True Storms Lowered Weapons Idk if some of the mods forementioned by Kou covers features of the mods on my list, but search them on Nexus. Especially Amazing Follower Tweaks which lets you save your spouse via quest, lets you have 5+Dogmeat companions and give each one of them different tactics, have your companions clean and build settlements, save and load settlement builds, dynamic camping system and so on. There is only one problem with CROSS gear, it doesn't come in a package. You'll have to download each one separately. Elianora is one of the best modders there is when it comes to aesthetics and looks. Her clothing, armour and player home designs are amazing.
Well this first mod on the list is something I was looking for! I always wanted to work for settlements but ... to do SO much stuff for a settlement takes the fun out of it for me. But if they can do it then hell yeah!
Hey Koubitz this mod list is pretty cool. I just imagine the people who will try this without modding experience will go crazy between the many patches that Horizon and Better locational damage need.

In my most recent playthrough I had both Sim Settlements and Scrap Everything installed. Much to my surprise, given that my computer is a beast, I could not walk around my level 3 Sim Settlements without massive lag. Long story short, kinggath (the leader of the Sim Settlements project) recommended never to use Sim Cities and Scrap Everything. Alasdair Church I will miss the ability to not be able to scrap bushes which Place Anywhere does not do when I do a full non-SE playthrough, oh well. :)
Austin Smith Yeah I hear you on that I've also suffered withdrawals from loss of ability to clear unsightly crap off floors etc. However Sim Settlements eases the pain...

Great video, showcased mods I've been really interested in. But it would be great to have a more detailed video about how to get them to play nicely together, because Horizon is a beast!
Some great suggestions here - some of these mods like Sim Settlements & StartMeUp are downright essential to my own continued enjoyment of the game. Also - I would recommend for those who enjoy combat (I imagine that's near enough all of us...) the mods *Pack Attack* - which vastly improves enemy AI, and either *War of the Commonwealth* or *Eternal Warfare* - both of which greatly increase the number and variety of enemies - and allies - encountered in the Wasteland.
This made me started new game so thank you for that. I would love to see load order to this. mod horizon will affect so much. This is what i needed no more over 100 mods like i use to do just basic good mods to make game run smoothly. Or maybe video of your load order and how to make modded F4 run good?
I am so surprised you didn't include the mod where you can have a companion WITH Dogmeat, because originally Dogmeat doesn't count as a companion and i've noticed if you visit Vault 88, the guard literally has a dialogue to say "What about her/his friend and the dog"

10:31 exactly! well except the reason that you need every dlc for it but besides that yeah!
Some great suggestions here - some of these mods like Sim Settlements & StartMeUp are downright essential to my own continued enjoyment of the game. Also - I would recommend for those who enjoy combat (I imagine that's near enough all of us...) the mods *Pack Attack* - which vastly improves enemy AI, and either
*War of the Commonwealth* or *Eternal Warfare* - both of which greatly increase the number and variety of enemies - and allies - encountered in the Wasteland.
This made me started new game so thank you for that. I would love to see load order to this. mod horizon will affect so much. This is what i needed no more over 100 mods like i use to do just basic good mods to make game run smoothly. Or maybe video of your load order and how to make modded F4 run good?
Wow great mod video. Got a new sub here! I'm gonna try all these lol
....love you content, voice, laugh, and recommendations. Best notification of the day.
This video was super helpful thanks 🙏
My only issue with the reverb mod is that I get a weird issue when I go through corridors in some buildings I'll get crackling.
Really offputting
I am so surprised you didn't include the mod where you can have a companion WITH Dogmeat, because originally Dogmeat doesn't count as a companion and i've noticed if you visit Vault 88, the guard literally has a dialogue to say "What about her/his friend and the dog"
for real, this is gonna be super useful for when i get a pc and fallout 4
you can start a new game without installing a mod by saving before youre presented with the change your character option when leaving the vault
I wish I knew how to install mods like these but I’m stuck with the ones already in the game cuz I can’t figure out how to install these
You sound like Amy Pond from Doctor Who and its amazing
Welcome back!
Armorsmith Extended stops CC color/paint skins from working. There are a few mods to fix SOME of this.
