Two things I noticed. 1. After the two Startiums and the waist cloth during the mimicry robe at 6:52 instead of putting in any puniball you can put in a Puni Leather for more stats. 2. At the final step the only thing you should do is use all your grand orgens (total of 41). You can rebuild everything hitting each bouns in item rebuild. My final robe was only level 42 and had more stats this way. This game is different from Ryza 1 in that you do NOT have to unlock the stats during initial build. You can open them during rebuild. Just make sure you use your essences at the final step before rebuild!
can you teach me how to carry over the traits? i have followed what he did and i cant seem to get it right. i already did put in 99crit 50attack 50def on the 1st item which is the cloth, but after the next item. the traits vanished.. it did left me with 50def trait.. so, any idea where i have done wrong?
One thing I've noticed consistently missed in these guides: Yes, essence needs to be used during the initial synthesis, but...the loop you're using the essence on does not need to be "unlocked" to use the essence. So, in the case of the Layered Velvet, yes, still use the essence on the Lord's Glory and Reduce Damage loops. Then leave them alone until Item Rebuild, and pump all your quantity into Weise Cloth. (And as someone else mentioned, you can save a couple more with ES+2 Glass Flowers, which left me with 42 quantity when I got to the Layered Velvet). Also, traits I chose were HP Charge++, Defense Charge++, and Infinite Vigor. As someone else mentioned, the hybrid stat traits just don't give as much bang for your trait slot buck. I am, however, totally with you on the importance of speed, so my go-to item for reinforcing armor and accessories is actually Crystal Element. I believe that's better than the Cross Cartridges. At least, that's what I was seeing, not sure if the letter grade makes a difference (my Cartridges were only A rank).
Letter grade, quality, and as I just figured out, trait quality all matter for reinforcing stats. For the traits they need to be capable of raising the letter grade of an item individually. Basically the item needs traits that would make it S+ if grade would go above S. I tried using some heavenly string that was S rank, 999, but had quality+ lvl30, best quality, and quality lvl15, and they had less stats. I crafted a heavenly string with max attack++, defense++, and skill charge++, and then it showed the same gains as in his video. TLDR; trait quality matters not just hav8ng the trait maxed out.

@@Mucher696969 This is amazing. I have also remade my Velvet and here are the changes: 1. Radiant Plate - I replaced Samasten with Grand Orgen and Creaminea. I lost 1 Weise Cloth, but Grand Orgen is the same, only it gives ATK instead of DEF; and Creaminea is better that Samasten. My net total is -7 DEF, +6 ATK, +4 SPD, so +3 in stats. 2. I used Defense Charge++ instead of DEF/ATK because it gives 50 DEF instead of 20 DEF/20 ATK, but I actually made both. 3. My Cross Cartridge was worse than yours, despite me using 5-star traits. But my Spirit Bottles were slightly better (2 ATK/43 DEF/41 SPD), so I decided to play with traits and here is my best result: HP Charge++ 99, Critical ++ 99, Destructive++ 50 on a Spirit Bottle (or a Cross Cartridge) - it gives 2 ATK/45 DEF/43 SPD. The final results for the Defense Charge++ build: HP 369 ATK 392 DEF 964 SPD 754 The final results for the DEF/ATK Charge+ build: HP 369 ATK 412 DEF 934 SPD 754 In my opinion, it's time to stop now, because they will release DLC with new traits. @@yaroslavromanyuk5669 So I did some digging and found this spreadsheet... docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/159kcmw00HZKF0rs64hcSy-E4oAlP5CqDlJq3BlJfDUM/edit?usp=drivesdk If you go to the traits page and look through them, you will see that each trait has a hidden grade of its own. These seem to be values from 1 to 50. If you look closely you will see that traits with 5 stars in the guide have the highest grades but are not all the same. If we were to make spirit bittles, cross cartridges, etc. with 3 traits having grade 50 we could achieve even higher rebuild values. Looking through the traits you used vs. the traits I used, it is clear that yours have higher grade values! This is why your spirit bottles gave slightly more stats. It's a bit rediculous to me that the in-game guide uses star values instead of these numbers and is thus inherently misleading but either way props to you for discovering some higher grade traits! Edit: After looking through the trait values there seem to only be exactly 3 of them with 50 grade; Area Bonus++, Few Bonus++, and Stats Power. Edit 2: just tested Area Bonus++, Few Bonus++, and Stats Power on both the Cross Cartridge and Spirit Bottle (and even tested lvl 99 version) and they do Atk+2, Def+45, and Spd+42 which is worse than yours slightly. I think the spreadsheet has a bad grade value (listed as 50) for stats power which makes sense since it's only a 4 star in the guide. The next best option would be Healing++ which has a grade of 48. I will follow up with the results. Edit 3: Tested area bonus++, few bonus++, and healing ++. This results in a cross cartridge that offers atk+2, def+44, and spd+42 which is even worse than using stats power. Now I'm starting to believe that for the best possible combo it needs to be a 5 star trait with a high grade value and a high max level such as the lvl 99s (crit and hp) you used. Since HP and Crit are the only 2 with lvl99 max I am going to test with Healing++ which has a higher grade value than your Destructive++ (48 vs. your 41). I will report back. Edit 4: I did HP and Crit 99 with Healing++ 50 and still got atk+2, def+45, and spd+42. There must be something special about destruction++? I will try to get the spd+43 with destruction when I get a chance. Edit 5: It appears that the hidden grade values on traits are either irrelevant or not indicative of trait effectiveness regarding reinforcement with Dennis. What does seem to be an indicator, however, is the order that traits are presented in when finalizing a synthesis. I added tons of traits to the spirit bottle craft and, sure enough, Critical++ 99, HP Charge++ 99, and Destructive++ 50 were at the top 3 in the trait list when finalizing. By selecting them I was able to finally reproduce your results of 2, 45, and 43. In conclusion, I believe the only way to attempt finding any better combination would be to add every single trait then check if any appear in the trait list above crit, hp, or destructive in the synth finalization. If I get motivated enough I may compile a list of all possible traits in the order of what will affect reinforcement the most.
Thanks you, btw you can do better, I noticed that this is not like ryza 1, ryza 2 armor stats from the board carry over to the next one!, managed to get: HP: 368 ATK: 399 DEF: 808 SPD: 695 before rebuild/forge
nah 2 of the new armors are technically better for min maxing damage but serve no real purpose in an actual fight, its more for the weasel damage contest
The guide was perfect. Except in 2 instances. 1: Your glass flower was effect spread +1 instead of +2 Your alchemy stone wasn't optimized either. This way you would have higher stats and minimum lvl requirements. All your other guides are really good though
Also to note, ATK and DEF charge at lvl 40 gives 20 ATK and 20 DEF. You might want to stick to something else like HP Charge ++ (99 HP) and DEF Charge ++ (50 DEF)
@@tcsal While doing hp and def gives 149 total stats instead of 80 total stats from atk/def and def/spd I think attack and speed is more important than 99 hp and 10 more def. Just my opinion though.
Ps: I change the trait to be like your heavenly string, but at most only +49 def & +15 spd? What did you use or rather did you make it from the alchemy fiber to heavenly string, if it make any different?
The grade needs to be S, the quality 999, and the traits need to be high quality traits. As an example, max attack++ will let a rebuild item give more stats than max attack+. For maximum rebuild effect, the item needs 3 traits each capable of raising the grade of the item by 1 during synthesis.
Does anyone know a way to get Animal Hide with 3 element value? Cant find any. Maxed the shop, fighting enemys or gathering. I always get some with just a value of 2. As long as i read correct, cant get them from seeds.
@@Primalliquid92 Thanks for the replay man. Apprecaite your guides. I think then its back to hoping to get a lucky drop because since now, no shops (maxed out romy with animal prodcuts or any monster dropped it for me. always 1 or 2.

Romy sells animal products for gold coins, sometimes these are Animal Hides with 4 element value. Other than that - bird nests in late-game locations (should have 2-3 traits, can't say for sure).
From Romy's Coin Exchange. First, buy her bottom 3 offerings, whatever they are, so that she'll have to reload some new random items. Then go back to the Atelier and Save. Sleep once til morning and go see if Romy is now selling Animal Products as one of those bottom 3. If so, buy it and see if it's Animal Hide; it could also be something else, like Mythical Hide. If she doesn't have what you want, reload to sleep and try again; it's random each time. I got 7 Animal Hides with 4 element value this way. Only had to reload once.
Infinite Vigor is a trait that comes on the Golem Core item. Golem Core is dropped by a few different enemies: Eternal Sculpture, a re-spawning Large enemy found in Water Spirit's Sanctuary; Boulder Soldier, another re-spawning Large enemy found in Southern Outskirts; and Noir Doll, a one-time Large enemy you must defeat to complete Mirage Land. Golem Core is an Ore-type item and can be used to make a Yellow Neutralizer, on which you can activate the effects: Add (Ore) & Add (General Goods) so you can spread the Infinite Vigor trait around a few different ways.

@@yaroslavromanyuk5669 So I just went and recrafted, it was indeed something with the Cross Cartidges. In order to get max effect it needs to be S grade, quality 999, and have 3x 5 star max traits. I used HP++ lvl99, Defense Charge++ lvl50, and Speed Charge++ lvl50. This gives atk+2, def+43, and spd+40 each.
For the initial craft I'll try to type this as concise as possible...(assume any ingrediant I use is 999 quality and max when craftable)
1. Cloth - (Effect 1)Alchemy Fibers, (Quality)Blue Neutralizer (with ATK/DEF 40, DEF/SPD 40, and Infinite Vigor), (Traits)Heavenly String with effect spread +2, (Recipe Travelers Coat)Restraint Silk
2. Traveler's Coat - (Quality)Restraint Silk, (SPD)Restraint Silk (needs 3+ element to get spd+6), (Recipe Noble Tunic)Fluffy Wool
3. Noble Tunic - (Effect 1)Cloth, (Traits)Heavenly String, (DEF)Weise Cloth x2, (Recipe Leather Protector)Bestial Air
4. Leather Protector - (Quality)Animal Hide, (ATK)Animal Hide (needs 3+ element to get atk+6), (DEF)Weise Cloth x2, (Recipe Soldier's Cuirass)Rusted Sword
5. Soldier's Cuirass - (Traits)Dread Leather, (DEF)Weise Cloth x2, (Recipe Radiant Plate)Creaminea
6. Radiant Plate - (Effect 2)Samasten (purchased from store with atk+5, def+4, and effect spread +1 as described in the video), (Recipe Mimicry Robe)Puni Leather
7. Mimicry Robe - (Effect 1)Startium x2, (SPD)Weise Cloth x2, (Effect 1)Puni Leather, (Recipe Fairy Cloak)Dream Powder
8. Fairy Cloak - (Traits)Glass Flower (with effect spread +2), (Quality)Glass Flower (with effect spread +2), (Recipe Layered Velvet)Dread Leather
9. Layered Velvet - Activate Celestial Essence, (Effect 1 top right)Activate Fire Essence, (Effect 3 top left)Activate Wind Essence, (Traits bottom center)Philosopher's Stone, (DEF)Weise Cloth, (Effect 3 top left)Weise Cloth x34, (Choose Traits)ATK/DEF Charge 40, DEF/SPD Charge 40, and Infinite Vigor
10. Rebuild - (Quality top right)Ancient Philosopher's Stone x2, (Effect 4)Anything with lowest blue element value you have to maintain lowest final level possible, (Choose Traits)Same as step 9
11. Dennis's Workshop Reinforcement - Any 3 (Magical) items that are S grade, quality 999, and 3x 5 star max traits, (Choose Traits)Same as step 9
The final product Layered Velvet stats...
HP 369
ATK 406
DEF 935
SPD 741
@@Mucher696969 This is amazing.
I have also remade my Velvet and here are the changes:
The final results for the Defense Charge++ build:
HP 369
ATK 392
DEF 964
SPD 754
The final results for the DEF/ATK Charge+ build:
HP 369
ATK 412
DEF 934
SPD 754
In my opinion, it's time to stop now, because they will release DLC with new traits. But this was fun, thanks :)
@@yaroslavromanyuk5669 So I did some digging and found this spreadsheet...
docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/159kcmw00HZKF0rs64hcSy-E4oAlP5CqDlJq3BlJfDUM/edit?usp=drivesdk
If you go to the traits page and look through them, you will see that each trait has a hidden grade of its own.
Thanks you, btw you can do better, I noticed that this is not like ryza 1, ryza 2 armor stats from the board carry over to the next one!, managed to get:
HP: 368
ATK: 399
DEF: 808
SPD: 695
before rebuild/forge
Ironically enough, even with DLC I'm pretty sure Layered Velvet is still more useful than the 3 new armor units solely because of the AP bonus.
nah 2 of the new armors are technically better for min maxing damage but serve no real purpose in an actual fight, its more for the weasel damage contest
@@Primalliquid92 yeah i meant that velvet is the best in terms of defensive properties
The guide was perfect. Except in 2 instances.
1: Your glass flower was effect spread +1 instead of +2
Your alchemy stone wasn't optimized either.
Any update on best traits after dlc trait update?
How is that your heavenly string give +52 defense when quality the same, but mine only give +42? Since DLC for synthesis shouldn't be out yet. How?
Ps: I change the trait to be like your heavenly string, but at most only +49 def & +15 spd? What did you use or rather did you make it from the alchemy fiber to heavenly string, if it make any different?
But oh well the final product for some reason higher stats than yours somehow. Just aside the minor stats difference on yours heavenly string.
The grade needs to be S, the quality 999, and the traits need to be high quality traits. As an example, max attack++ will let a rebuild item give more stats than max attack+. For maximum rebuild effect, the item needs 3 traits each capable of raising the grade of the item by 1 during synthesis.
Why not skip ko effect entirely and something different from blacksmith
dlc white order is the best.
look at the upload date, all my ryza 2 stuff was uploaded LONG before the DLC came out
Does anyone know a way to get Animal Hide with 3 element value? Cant find any. Maxed the shop, fighting enemys or gathering. I always get some with just a value of 2. As long as i read correct, cant get them from seeds.
buy them from a store or high level beast monsters have a chance to drop 3 element
@@Primalliquid92 Thanks for the replay man. Apprecaite your guides. I think then its back to hoping to get a lucky drop because since now, no shops (maxed out romy with animal prodcuts or any monster dropped it for me. always 1 or 2.
Just for anybody who have the same problem. I finnaly got a lot with 4 element value. Just max out Animla Products at romys and buy Animal products from here with gold coin exchange. Took me a long time, but finaly got a bunch with 4 elements.
@@IltisJoe Jesus I’m a little late but thanks for this blessed comment!
@@yosht6110 No problem man, great i could help you with it.
any particular way for getting animal hide with 3 element value ?
How is layered velvet recipe unlocked?
you need materials, mostly mats gained in the 2nd to the last dungeon
Incomprehensibe
How do i get infinite vigor?
