Completely disagree (respectfully so).. 😅 I don't understand how people can like the first one and not like this one... More. 😅 It's the same formula but done better, with a more compelling main character. Yes, it leaves with more questions than answers but knowing the sequels are coming, I don't see it as a big issue. The introduction of the ghost town is a nice needed extension to the lore and setting. The reveal at the end is at the very least intriguing, makes you want to rewatch the others with that idea in mind and opens the way to more theories about what's actually going on. The tension building is definitely still there, wich is why this movies are good in the first place. The acting is still great. And now we have a survivor who has encountered those "things", wich is new and interesting for the next instalments. To me, this franchise is getting better each time and I'm very curious to see where it's going. I think it has a nice balance of giving you more little elements on every movie, while also thickening the mystery even more. For me, this one is the best but if you want jump scares.. maybe not worth your time.
I really like Firewatch. To me Minerva is the best one because of how it expands the lore. The subplot of the person sacrificing people to the beings & footage they found is incredible. With Firewatch I liked how it tells us a little more about if the beings & what could be their origins. It’s not a great movie but I enjoyed. I really like the lore the director has been building.
I agree with your review. I keep seeing people say, "It's good because it's setting up the next film" and more things along those lines. While i agree that it's great that we're getting a sequel, a promise is not as good as a guarantee. A film has to stand on its own two legs as well. *****SPOILERS***** And then the monster ended up being a tree at the end?! Horrifying!! 😫😫🥱🥱🥱🥱
Totally agree with your review bro. I didn’t even finish watching part 3 and I loved part 1! I “enjoyed” part 2 but was disappointed and thought maybe I expected too much.. but yeah with part 3 I was really bored and when I got to the end I checked how much time was left (there was like 15 minutes left) and I just turned it off frustrated and mad that rented this! nothing happens! I will not be watching part 4 unless I hear that it’s awesome
Man the audio in the new place is so much better. It's like when a TH-camr gets a fancy new mike.
I would’ve wanted them to expand Minerva. I didn’t know what happend at the end.
True! I'm assuming they'll get to it in the next movies but who knows.
I agree with everything you said . I was unbelievably disappointed by Horror in the High Desert 3 .
Agreed 100% firewatch was a dissapointment. And I absolutely LOVED the first one and liked the second one.

I waited in Canada for 3 for so long, had to pay to see it, and was so bored. Fell asleep halfway through. Waste of time.
