Fyi- I was told by a mechanic at the dealership that this can be done with a 9v battery and test probes.... I'm about to try it. I'll update you if it works 🤞
@feeshunter1508 , Yes! I attached leads to a 9 volt battery and it worked great! You have to go slow to make sure it's going the right direction. If not, just reverse the leads.

I set it to 6V so it doesn't move the piston too fast.

IF YOU USE THE POWER PROBE IT WILL WORK JUST FINE.
