Equinox is meant to be affordable car not a luxury car so we cant be harsh on review. Ive owned one for 12 years before I traded it in for a new 2023 equinox.
Maybe it's because I'm a millenial, but I actually like the 2010s era styling. The 2025 Equinox is fugly. The only thing I'm concerned with is the possibility of a faulty turbo, which is the whole reason I need to replace my 2016 Cruze. Does Chevy have a problem with their turbos, or is it normal for that to happen to any car as it ages?
I have a 2019 chevy equinox. I purchased the extended warranty. Now, in 2024, after the warranty expired, I had to replace the transmission about 5 months ago. After this, the fuel pump went out, now, I need a new engine. Ridiculous! The dealership calls it normal for a car that is not quite 5 years old yet. Chevy equinox is garbage.
My Equinox LTZ is a 2012 and the biggest issue was needing a new thermostat, now the heat is amazing! I got it for my birthday in 2015. I love my vehicle, it has been very reliable. I would get another one.
Click bait title. Other than performance and styling, no real objective technical reason not to buy. Should have been entitles "Why I would avoid the 2024 Chevy Equinox". Not impressed with the review.

That was a great review. I own an Equinox and love it. Have had very few issues and considering getting another one especially after you great review.

I had a 2011 LX HAS problems left n right problems now way I get another one
I have a 2013 equinox that has 93,000 mi on it. Burns a little oil but other than that no problems.
