LOL, this video is total crap. I owned a 2019 LS Equinox and just traded it in for a 2024 RS Equinox. Never experienced any issues. The new 2024 RS is a black on black and it looks sleek and very nice inside. Also drives a lot smoother than the overpriced Rav 4 and the Honda CRV.

lol... 175hp is still more than enough to bark the tires on dry pavement, and go over 100mph easy. Handles just fine, feels a lot better than its competition the Ford Escape. Zero issues with the turbo so far, and the 3 other folks that I actually talk to are having zero turbo issues as well. One is beyond 180,000 miles. Just another video trying to squash sales of a good vehicle.

And they definitely have those out there. Except I'm not sure why people want a 🏎 with their family as passengers 😂 but they're out there. In other countries they are beginning to require a buyer have a certain license (ex. A U-licence like in Australia) if they buy extremely "High Performance" cars.

Have had mine for 6 months now. It’s been a solid car so far. Haven’t seen any of this. The only thing that was janky was the radio wasn’t working maybe something with the electrical but it was late so I thought I’d deal with it in the morning. Morning came, started the car and everything was working great again🤷🏻‍♀️ haven’t had the problem since.

  • @bert5959ify

Have a 23, absolutely no problem with power. Picks up and goes. Also tow with no issue. The ONLY ISSUE is terrible gas mileage. Best I get is 22.
Breaking is excellent. Not a car to go cross country though. Comfort wise.
So I’m confused with this video. Have 42000 with no problems.

I got my first check engine light at 25K on my brand new 2023 equinox due to reduced engine power caused by a faulty fuel pump. Also bad brake master cylinder. The problems started at 7,000 miles, but I kept driving. Also, when I slow down while accelerating, I hear a terrible pump noise coming from the rear. We met with the first service in the ninth month, and the problems still continue. And I had to go to the service again for the third time due to strange sounds coming from the engine and a dirty, burning smell. It was said that the transmission was defective and needed to be replaced. The engine is noisy, and the cabin is noisy due to road noise and the poor sound insulation of the doors. Car play freezes frequently and turns into a blank screen. In such a case, you have to stop the car every time, open and close the driver's door, start the car again, and continue on your way. This is a very common situation. In general, the performance of the car is very bad. There are many problems with this vehicle model, and GM is aware of them. I can truly say that it is the worst-performing car I have ever owned. I don't think I will be able to use this Equinox for a very long time. It's a really sad and regrettable situation. I chose this vehicle because it was sold cheaper than its competitors and because of the promotion given by the dealer. So, I learned that when buying a car, you should buy an expensive and high-quality one, not a cheap one. I will never buy an American car again. I have bought Chrysler and Ford before, and I was not happy at all. Chevy will be the domestic car I buy for the third and last time

I have no choice but to use the car like this. I went to the authorized service 3 times but the problem was not solved in any way. I just lost time every time I went. GM authorized services do not work well. You have to wait for months. In my opinion, not only GM but all domestic brand vehicles are not durable. I will never buy a USA brand vehicle again.

I wouldn't go running to the foreign dealerships considering many Americans got suckered into that wonderful dream that they last longer, are much better on gas, last longer, and are solid built. When in reality, they got stuck with vehicles that were built with CVT transmission issues that affected so many models of cars the foreign motor companies gave up on the recalls so owners just got stuck with pieces of crap cars that eventually don't run & are completely unfixable and are worthless to to them & for trade ins. I have had a foreign car or two. No. I wasn't an owner of one of those with the CVT transmission issues, so no I'm not a disgruntled buyer, but I do feel for any buyer who bought the dream & got a nightmare instead. Sounds strange after all that to then say might I suggest a Dodge Jouney. We drive them at my job all over the state. They run easily over 200,000miles and several of our drivers sad to say have walked away from accidents they probably shouldn't have made it out of. We change the oil every 3-5,000miles and have an excellent mechanic. Our company owns well over 100. 1 I know for a fact is over 473,000miles. We had a Ford Escape that I drove that had close to 500,000miles and we were rooting for whoever got to drive it to 500,000miles. 😂 It just missed the mark. 😢 I think it's more about research to be honest. I support 🇺🇲 but I won't say I would stay away from a certain name just because of the country it's made in so I wanted to clarify my comment a little better.
