regular magnets are just ferrite magnets. hard drive magnets are double-poled (*) neodymium magnets Much like magnetic chucks, putting many N/S magnet poles close together creates a very "short path" between the poles, creating strongest magnetic attachment, the hard drive magnets have both (double) poles on the same face, and it's flat, so it REALLY grabs onto things TIGHT.
@BackyardBunkerBuilder I don't have many loose hard drive magnets but I've got dozens of hard drive platters out in boxes and bags out in the garage. They're intended to become mirrors for a parabolic solar oven...
I’m amazed at how much work you get done with just a shovel. You’re awesome. I’m enjoying your videos keep up the good work. What’s with all the bees in this video? Do you have your own hive or something? They don’t seem to be bothering you but I’d be hiding in the house with that many bees flying around.
Thanks mate it is a lot of hard work. I have a couple of hives next to the path. Bees are busy working nothing to worry about. Most people's reactions are like yours though so you are not alone.
@@BackyardBunkerBuilder Cool. I know bees are super important so good on you to help them. Do you ever get stung? Do you think they know you and that you help them?
stairs? pffft, that's so last century. They take up so much space, require so much calculation. I propose... Elevator! Or Escalator! Travelator? Teleporter? Dangit, stairs hurt when you're 90, avoid em.
Excellent job, I assume you work in the construction industry because you really seem to know your stuff mate 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Baxter, been working in construction for too long I think.
That was a great video thanks. I learned a lot and it came up a treat too.
Glad you enjoyed it!
beautiful ❤ awesome job
@@elsaint7657 thank heaps, I appreciate the kind comment.
I absolutely love the hard drive magnets... Although I have noticed that after using them, regular magnets seem kinda lame and barely hold notes, lol.

I always make good use of those bad boys, I love them.
The more you know hey. Cheers for the added knowledge dimitr4y.
