I really like your work. I also like how you added the LED lights. Did you do anything on the strip power connection to make it serviceable down the road if the strip needs to be replaced? How did you handle the wire splice between the concrete-embedded flex and the strip under the cantilever?
All the people saying you need to be humbled don't realize that you've already been to the bottom, lowest of lows, and this is your rebound. You speak with a confidence and understanding that most people will never get. Nice work!

Why did you cast the led strips in vs embedding a piece of channeling, then mounting the led after it's done? That way if a strip has an issue it can be removed. Never done this before, just a diy'er wanting to take it on to save money.

Great video! I have two questions. Do you put the defusser on after the concrete has set? What do you do if the lights stop working over the years. How can you fix and replace the lights if they are set in concrete?
Im doing a sunken area myself and im trying to figure how to mount the led lights underneath the seating area. I just noticed you have the led installed before you poured the concrete. How do you change the lights when they go bad? Where did you get the lights? Im a diy, im in a different state so im not your competition lol. Nice work man. Thanks in advance.
Hey man these steps look so good every time you do them! the planters are a nice touch aswell! Can you tell me if im right in thinking is each slab 8in? with a 6in riser 2 in gap?
The pinewood method! We taught a few local guys how to do these lights. We helped victor delgado on Eduardo’s house when you guys did the floating steps
This is probably the best concrete work that I have seen in a video and in person. What kind of concrete mix do you use? I didn’t see any rock on it. Very interesting.
Hey man, I have a short question, how do you control the way that the slab dries. I heard that on a hot day, a slab can crack if it dries too quickly. Thanks you fir the vid, I'm french, trying to learn how you guys do it becayse you're just on another level, i want to make entryways/driveways and patios just like you to flip house.

@WestCoastCustomConcrete Awsome!! Your crew does really nice work dude. I would love these steps in my front yard. Too bad I'm on the opposite side of the country. New Jersey.
Another awesome set of floating steps! Question - how thick is the overhanging part and what is your typical rise when you form it like you do? Thanks man!
@@WestCoastCustomConcrete thanks man! I'm trying to layout my front entry...what is the rise of each step then? You use a 4x4 for the overhang, then a 2x6 or 2x8?
Hi just a question about the wooden bullfloat rather than magnesium alloy.. what do you find different about the 2 and is there pros and cons for using either 1? Thanks. Love the detail and precision in all your workers work ethic!!
You and your crew are definitely talented. Give praise to God for the talent he enriched you with. Identify that during your voiceovers and He will send you even more success. ❤

So true. So much tomfoolery at victory concrete. “omg you’re late omg why are you standing around get the cumalong , omg you ran over the bull float pole with the buggy 😱😡” way too much drama but drama sells unfortunately.
Can you do a video of installing the lights?

Moral of rhe story with this guy is talk the talk and get the Mexicans to do the work 😂😂
I’ve never heard someone just talk about how perfect they are for this long while he literally holds a hose and that’s it. 😂
That's being a boss he's hired a great crew unlike the other guys who hire mexicans who can't finish or even get to the job on their own lol.

Sweat shop workers get all the credit !!!
How do you change the LED strips out if the connectors are burried in concrete?
Could you replace thus led strip lights one day if they go bad.
Are the Odell construction boys finishing the driveway? 😮
I don’t think so😀
Speaking of learn as you go. Would you hire someone whose never touched concrete out in Riverside?

👌
Southern California is the desert. Extremely dry climate with very low humidity. Pour wetter to give more work time and allow to cure correctly.
How were the lights installed ? Was a excursion installed ?
@@nicholascarney8601You can see toward the beginning of the video. They are poured in place. I was surprised.
Dime on time..great work
Do you know if there is a limit to how thin floating steps can be? Is 3" too thin for human traffic seen by front steps of a house?
I’m my opinion 3 is a little lean✌️for me I stick with 3 1/2” essentially I use a 4x4
