It's not that Endeavour is not good at his job. It's a matter of his perspective. Look at All Might for Example. He is the stereotypical Superman/Captain America hero. As in he the strong but compassionate boy scout hero. Where as Endeavour on the other hand, is a more of a flashy but moodly guy playing the role of the hero. In terms of personality, he reminds me of heroes like Wolverine and Batman. Who have had neglectful past experiences. Not a fair comparison at all. Batman spends millions trying to redeem the irredeemable. He has incredible empathy, he just doesn't show it. He would not be as good at anticipating the decisions of others (as he does with those plans-within-plans) without a capacity for empathy. He is obsessed with his mission because of the strong emotional bond he had with his parents. Like a number of X-Men, Wolverine would rather not be a superhero, he just wants the lynchings to stop. "What's the Big Idea?" Exactly what everyone said when Endeavor knocked the autograph out of Inasa's hand. Like, that's not Endeavor's WORST moment, but still. C'mon, dude. 🫤
Endeavor didn't make the fact that he's kinda horrible any secret to the general public. It definitely puts things into perspective with how they see their "heroes."
I don't think it's the simple fact that Todoroki hates something that Inasa can't stand, I think it's the fact that he's consumed by hatred. It doesn't matter that they both hate the same guy, Todoroki was obsessed with his hatred for Endevor and Inasa can't respect anyone who's entire motivating force is hatred.
Todoroki figuring out how to use both sides is like how people can flex their pecs like terry crew, if you can feel yourself being completely still it helps you focus on each part of your body. So todoroki being paralyzed allowed him to focus a little more and feel his left side and right side separately and use them separately
Inasa is so funny to me because yeah Todoroki was salty, but imagine being so salty you give up going to your dream school just because some edgy kid was kind of a douche
Alright ima speak the truth fright here, Inasa is a really cool character. People act like he just automatically hated Shoto on sight but no, he tried to give him another chance yet Shoto was still a little ***t to him. Am I saying I blame Shoto for being mad? No, what I am saying is that Inasa did try to be friends yet Shoto told him to ***k off. It’s in line with his character but I like Inasa’s character
I kind of feel like Inasa was more level-headed than Todoroki because Inasa asked him to use Ice so it better meshes with his wind. Todoroki kinda dismissed it and was like "Go help the refugees" AS IF Todoroki was somehow going to handle Orca + his henchmen all by himself. So, I don't know. I think Todoroki was at fault because I don't see Inasa arguing with Todo if Todo just used Ice.
Todoroki's (untold) argument has the bases that his quirk would actually be VERY helpful to moving the refugees at once, and in fact, it could've actually made it so a lot more students helped Todoroki because of the amount of people the wind could carry. Todoroki's quirk doesn't really have that luxury. Sure, he was tackling more than he could handle, and the other students may have been more of a hassle than help, but Inasa definitely was the one that pushed the discussion more to a personal argument instead of keeping the topic about how to best handle the situation. He didn't really provide a solution to how easy Orca dismissed Todoroki's ice, and todoroki was in front, so he couldn't see Inasa was firing his air. Inasa technically had a better view of what Todoroki could do. Inasa hasn't really seen him use his fire, so it makes sense he wouldn't know how Shoto uses his fire, but that goes both ways because he never saw him use the wind quirk offensively (and didn't even remember him), and ultimately, as stated, Inasa still had better visibility and a better way to reposition.
You guys have to remember this entire exam is meant for 2nd and 3rd years so them being expected to know basic emergency procedures is almost agiven by that point Also side note you have to also remember todoroki can use both sides at the same time it just hinders his speed you both kinda talked over thay explanation
One thing that always bugged me about this battle is: where is Bakugo during all of this? You’d think he’d be up for a fight. Other than the brief clip of him yelling at the bystanders, we’re not seeing what he’s doing or how he’s doing during this part of the exam. I wonder if the manga explains it in more detail. He’s conspicuously absent.
I assumed, and this is an assumption, he was on the other side of the arena. We see that he was part of the last group to bring back the injured. So while he would have been down for a fight, he may not have made it in time, especially dragging Kirishima and Kaminari, with their two "injured" people.
That's the hardest I've laughed in a while for watching your reactions to cliffhangers. The immediate and intense irritation was hilarious and very well deserved Lol
It sucks that Todoroki tried to diffuse the situation by telling Inasa to go help somewhere else cause he knew they were gonna have beef but it didn't work and he got caught up in it anyway. Not putting all the blame on Inasa because Todoroki definitely snapped at him later, but the way I see it he recognized that he couldn't handle this social situation and tried to create an out for both of them but still fell into it anyway once his exit strategy didn't work. Like, he tried.
And we’re back to the plot! More rescue missions! How could I refuse. I love it when tests have their underlying purpose in the form of something else. The government has realized that while heroes on the street join efforts and work on the fly for an everyday circumstance, its hero teams less the individual that HAVE to get up to speed to fill All-Might’s solo crusade across the country. It’s funny they bring up Endeavor being ultimately unable to fill the gap himself, but even more so because it’s not his competence as a hero. The guy is NOT charismatic. Hilariously bad at that part. Now I’m completely IGNORING his controversy as a family man as I say he’s a workaholic that tired ENDLESSLY about catching up. But he doesn’t put people at ease. (And he HIMSELF was significantly more on edge when he discovered he never came CLOSE to All-Might’s power when he deflated before his eyes) This is a good transition from the 1st movie when Dave was paranoid about any such transition occurring if it was even POSSIBLE. Now we get to see the ACTUAL fears come to light. Gang Orca jumps onto the scene and is all but happy to throw hands. Targeting the safety zones because that skews the attention of heroes most. He’s not AS big as All-Might but he’s still HUGE. And Sonic attacks that can bust through Todoroki’s ice walls like nothing is NOTHING to scoff at. If you aren’t a combat specialist, all you can do is help with the evacs. Deku CAN turn injured All-Might’s head, and is a pretty hefty level up from back then, but that won’t do him much good in groups. And while HE can dodge, when there’s civilians at risk, he might be forced to NOT dodge to protect the station. So Deku is OFF the battlefield. You also have to be CRAZY accurate with your attacks to cause the villains lots of damage without endangering civilians. If only we didn’t get 3 solid demonstrations of EXACTLY that last round. Yo Shindo is NOT very good at that because as we saw in round 1, he accidentally split up his teammates trying to disperse everyone. Which is what he likely needs to do here for Gang Orca and the gang. He’s PROMPTLY tossed aside. And Inasa and Todoroki take his place. Are they any good working together? GOD NO. Their quirks are UNBELIEVABLY strong and are also great support. But at the same time, that falls on THEM to understand their surroundings. Inasa’s attacks are literally INVISIBLE with hundreds of currents swirling around at once. But with fluctuating temperatures, that’s hard to maintain. And on Todoroki’s side, he can’t see where he can and can’t aim with Inasa there. And neither have any intimate understanding of the other’s powers. Todoroki from not caring, and Inasa from trying HARD not to. And that collides all at once. Inasa despite his own lacking in social circumstances DOES understand to a certain extent what Shoto and Endeavor showed him. Their eyes hated “everything” that existed. But in reality they were/are self absorbed in their own circumstances to the point of being unable to see their surroundings. And Inasa sees each aspect at face value. He’s not a very empathetic person as loving and full of life as he is. What he doesn’t understand is indifference above all else. How can you not care about what’s in front of you? There’s ALWAYS something in front of you. Which go figure, is Shoto’s problem AND Endeavor. Something “in front of them” taking up their space and forcing their attention that they highly dislike. Shoto it’s Endeavor himself. Endeavor it’s obviously All-Might. But their hyper focus on proving themselves in the way they desire to that is at expense to LITERALLY all else and Deku LITERALLY needed to knock sense in Shoto. The mindset is at a COMPLETE opposite to Inasa who sees it all and loves it all. Who DOESN’T love life? To him, it’s JUST these two. Slight shoutout to Juzo Honenuki in the recommendations lineup. Quicksand guy with no cheeks from the sports festival and camp attack. Biggest power player of Class B. (No sign of Momo and Tokage.) Makes you wonder which of these 4 would have been unable to get into UA if Inasa accepted, or if it was going to be an uneven 5. And Deku shouting at Shoto has to be traumatizing in of itself. As Shoto starts thinking about his bloodline again and Deku yells at him to cut the crap, Todoroki was clearly inspired by the memories of nearly getting blown to smithereens for the last time he did this in the heat of the moment. Deku almost killed him what. 6-10 times in their fight? XD NOT someone you want to be getting lectured from. And he makes his flame twister with Inasa once they recognize what each of their quirks can do for the other. And Gang Orca is quite pleased too. It all comes down to Deku swooping in with Hair Man and Yo Shindo making the biggest openings. (Yo Shindo even actually reassuring Deku genuinely. Guess he’s just a jerk to people not on his team) Deku even COMPLETELY cracks the weighted gear Gang Orca was wearing. That’s thick steel he just cratered. Deku was NO wall breaker before Muscular. So THAT performance increase is still in the air. (Not much longer) Final notes, NO SIGN of Camie in this effort, and Bakugo COMPLETELY stayed clear of the ONE part of the test he would WANT to do. Bakugo is being REALLY weird. And while I’m HAPPY Camie didn’t continuously bother Deku more, I did kinda want to see her collaborate with other people and what she does with her quirk to help. One gripe I’d give is how would the rescue effort go as the fight shockwaves occurred throughout. Which would give Uraraka and Iida who are BOTH rescue oriented heroes would find more strength. But hey, Tsu found time to show off her new camo! And THAT opens up a number of doors. But that’s the end of the test! I’d analyze the results but we just gotta save THAT for next time. I couldn’t find as many crazy details in this episode as last time. But this episode is still solid. You won’t see me complain on Todoroki’s emotional development and Inasa getting humbled too.
@Friki015 It’s honestly even funnier that they start the plans to make sure a new All-Might isn’t a mandatory replacement, AS the successor of the symbol of peace title walks in to test. XD just drives home that chosen ones in real life simply do NOT happen. You are NOT meant to bank on there being one at all much less a LINE of them. Wish I could still swear to make my points. TH-cam won’t let me anymore.
Im ngl inasa high-key started it lmao he had the high ground meaning he had a view on todoroki and gang orca with his view he knew todoroki was about to shoot his flames yet he fucked up his shot regardless meanwhile todoroki had his back turned on him he wouldn’t have known that dude was gonna use his wind attacks especially after he told him to go help the other people

I just feel like Inasa is being overdramatic. I understand that having your idol reject you is awful, especially for a little kid. Personally, I've looked back at bad childhood experiences and thought "Man, I really made that a lot worse in my mind than it actually was". But for him to be 15/16 and be upset at Shoto just for being Endeavours kid is ridiculous. Endeavour was and still is an a$$hole for knocking over a kid, but the whole "hatred at the whole world" thing is so dramatic.
He doesn't hate him because his Endeavor's kid. He hates him for behaving just like Endeavor, hating something that's not even there that you become blinded. He associates that aspect of Shoto to Endeavor because of the way he behaved, and concludes that since his dad is the exact same way, that MUST be the reason. He doesn't hate him for being their son, it's just the connection he made by hating the two. Which, he might've not even been wrong. The difference is Shoto has changed since then, not that Inasa was wrong. He's wrong now, and that's the main point. P.S.: That doesn't mean he wasn't overdramatic over Endeavor in that moment, but Shoto was definitely a jerk there.

(Not much longer)
Final notes, NO SIGN of Camie in this effort, and Bakugo COMPLETELY stayed clear of the ONE part of the test he would WANT to do.
Who has the dumber backstory to explain their motivation for hating somebody? Inasa or Broly?
Still Broly💀🤣
@@J_RHasRisen I don't know. The reason itself is a little dumber but at least Broly was angry at Goku and not Gohan for looking like Goku lol.
While both are kinda dumb, "Broly hates Kakarot because he cried for like 3 hours" is still dumber
Not even close its broly
@@damianfry2080 i have to agree with Rmn here yes broly's reason is dumber but atleast he didnt hate gohan for his anger at goku
omg i'm hyped for the next few epsiodes!!! 👀🤭 ready for the bakudeku development!
Plus altra!!!🎉
Im ngl inasa high-key started it lmao he had the high ground meaning he had a view on todoroki and gang orca with his view he knew todoroki was about to shoot his flames yet he fucked up his shot regardless meanwhile todoroki had his back turned on him he wouldn’t have known that dude was gonna use his wind attacks especially after he told him to go help the other people
At this episode how mutch has he seen of the anime?
Kenny? He's up to day with it, only thing he hasn't seen is the third movie, and maybe the OVAs
@@arielmartinez94 that what I thought. Just that some of his reaction made him look surprised. (But I guess that he haven’t seen this in a while, so he can’t remember everything).
@@Eevee213 correct, just stuff he forgot overtime
Please react to Doctor who at some point. Its not an animated show but I just know that you would love it.
Ok completely irrelevant to mha or ur reactions but for the past few episodes I have been WRACKING MY BRAIN bc I knew this inasa dudes voice and I could NOT place it. bro,,,it’s floch,,,now i can’t unhear it,,,,,
When are JJK episodes coming to the channel
Omaewa. Nani shtendaa!
Im so ready for Deku vs Kachan part 2 😁
I just feel like Inasa is being overdramatic. I understand that having your idol reject you is awful, especially for a little kid. Personally, I've looked back at bad childhood experiences and thought "Man, I really made that a lot worse in my mind than it actually was". But for him to be 15/16 and be upset at Shoto just for being Endeavours kid is ridiculous. Endeavour was and still is an a$$hole for knocking over a kid, but the whole "hatred at the whole world" thing is so dramatic.
i dont even think endeavor was an idol of his before, it was just "this hero is so cool i want his autograph"
Lol I was one of the first comments
Still waiting for jjk
Let’s gooooooooo
Are yall just sharing Taylor swift shirts?😂
This episode always annoyed me. Like he didn’t get an autograph and a kid said one rude thing to him. That is literally everything
