All of the events of this episode made me anticipate season 4 *so much* more. Meeting the Big 3 and the new villain and Twice's backstory just made me immensely excited about the future of the show.
So to explain Twice, spoiler free of course. His quirk is making clones of things, a copy. He can copy himself, then he can copy the copy. As you saw when he copied Dabi, the quirk is copied too. So Twice can make copies of himself that can make copies of themselves, that can make copies of, anyone they want, quirk included. Imagine 100 Dabis just throwing fire everywhere. Twice is potentially a one man god damned army! And he can turn any army into a DOUBLE army. On the other hand, because of his quirk he has some serious multiple personality disorder. To clarify, this disorder is not FROM his quirk, it's BECAUSE of his quirk. I'll explain the distinction. Toga has a pretty clear obsession with blood and making people bleed. That's FROM her quirk. Her quirk involves drinking blood, so naturally it also makes her more inclined towards blood in general. It's like a scorpion that's afraid to sting things, it'd die or starve to death. Toga's quirk came bundled with a blood obsession, which clearly lead to her extremely violent outlook on love and affection. Twice's quirk did NOT give him multiple personalities, he was just a totally normal person with a quirk. It was ABUSING his quirk that caused his disorder. Twice made tons of copies of himself, and eventually the copies lost track of who the real one was, then after they destroyed one another, it caused a mental break in Twice's mind that split his psyche. He became severely paranoid that he wasn't real, the only way to know if he's real or not is to get fairly injured, but if that happens and he's not real, he'd die from like just a broken arm or something. So this state of uncertainty caused multiple personalities to develop. Twice's mind is basically doubling itself in order to try and keep him together, otherwise his constant fear of not being real might actually destroy him entirely. I'm really looking forward to several moments involving Twice moving forward. Everyone knows which ones I'm talking about.
Hell yeah! Thank you for explaining the difference. And the other alters can have distinctive roles to serve the host (some beneficial and some self-harming). the danger of being a child, everything is for you or your fault, so often times vengeful or violent alters will blame the host for the trauma. And so self-harm is very the norm. (Which is why serial killer stories with characters who have did or something like it are just incredibly harmful stereotypes, that are not founded in reality. Clearly not the case with twice, and his secondary voice doesn’t switch who’s fronting (driving the body) and is more like a really unique vocal tic. Like a tree that’s kinda split but both halves still manage to grow. Like clearly it’s been side it’s an identity disorder, I just don’t have enough knowledge or research to know exactly what KIND it would be, just that it isn’t DID

Overhaul is my second favorite character !! I know he literally @bused Eri, but I can't bring myself to hate him, no clue why. His quirk is so unique and the way he uses it to manipulate Eri is wild. While writing this, I am realizing how messed up I am, but ..
This is one of the strangest episodes of MHA. The fact this comes off the Bakugo v Deku episode is hilarious. Horikoshi just does what he pleases sometimes. To be getting a political commentary on All-Might’s retirement 2 weeks ago and how Endeavor being de facto #1 just throws everything on its head. Endeavor does fulfill all 4 hero classes LIKE All-Might but he has NEGATIVE charisma, and is VISIBLY more human and his flaws can be seen on display much more simply. Trying to compete with All-Might is no small feat and rules his life. And because of how much he has to focus on physical and mental strength, it comes at the cost of almost all emotional strength. And that’s where his temper comes in. And if he’s stressed out at the top and blowing up at everything, then that’s all villains need to know. (Just another thing to point out Deku’s evolution last episode was WAY larger than it seemed from his 5-8% jump. This entire season took place over 2 freaking weeks. Stockpiling is FAST.) Now that All-Might is gone, villains start to see that teamwork actually matters again. Doesn’t matter if you show up with 1000 people to fight a guy who makes bullets look slow and missiles like kids toys. But now? At the end of the day these heroes are people. And no one can fill the whole role of All-Might. You send 1 very experienced man against 4-5 villains, and that simply won’t be able to do everything you need unless the hero has enough advantage in quirk, speed, and reflexes. And while we see MOST heroes in the show do that, we are often seeing the most skilled people in the country. There’s a LOT of heroes that can’t do everything keep up with the ones that we’re all fond of. Do you see the Hosu heroes able to handle 5 people solo? I think not. And we’re looking from the freaking outlook of TWICE. The villain with split personality disorder. He seems to have an actual good relationship with Giran the broker. And Giran knows which of the personalities to listen to at any given moment. Which is…impressive. And Twice is just so freaking unstable he literally feels like from what I can tell, his other personality is falling out of his head and he can’t communicate without them both because he isn’t sure which is which. Hence the mask. 9 days of hearing nothing but 30 some doubles of yourself shouting about who is the original and it cascading into freaking murdering YOURSELF is layers of layers of messed up. And if you even have the SLIGHTEST doubt during any of that time and you’re spiraling for everything that follows. And of the villains, he’s just a goofball in comparison to the other league members. I mentioned that a few of the villains feel more like lost souls than outright evil people. And found the wrong people to support them. Spinner’s inspiration with Stain was his debut as a villain, and Twice seems to be just finding his place in the world. You know. Setting aside the kidnapping, attempted murder, and assaults. Dabi just VAPORIZED 10 PEOPLE while Twice ponders his life and the world around him. I don’t know how that just gets glossed over in this episode. Most people call his quirk cremation. He and Twice appear to be the two highest ranking members in the league. Dabi in charge of the vanguard action squad and Twice as his 2nd in command. I assume that if you’re not willing to speak to the villains, they can decide what to do with ya. And it won’t end well for those that encounter Dabi the sociopath. And there’s a new mystery villain who has matching plague masks that are looking over the handiwork of the earlier gang…after seemingly infusing them with their truck parts and setting their truck on fire. That is some FMA ALCHEMY going on there. You know. Minus human transmutation rules. And NOW we get back to the kids and seeing more interactions from house arrest Bakugo and Deku, and the rest of the class just going on without them. Deku is realizing 8% had NO drawback at ALL when he used it. So now he has more to work with and doesn’t get the burden he’s under threat of getting when he lets loose 100%. Which is HUGE that he will get to a point where the arm issues won’t be much of an issue at all because they will simply be completely reinforced with OFA energy. Iida continues his crisis of being the only one not in line. We finally get a proper update on Class B and other side students. Class B ALSO went into a 1500 free for all with only 100 passing AND got all 20 through their rescue test too. Ultimate moves learning and all. We write them off easily but these kids are entirely on par with Class A and every last piece of development OUR kids have gone through is happening for them as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if they also did better in the rescue exams because unlike Class A, they actually GOT rescue classes. Also if you didn’t understand the Pony Tsunotori scene, she’s an American exchange student and she speaks English not Japanese fluently. So she’s catching up on the language. Monoma is surprisingly not helping. I think Class B has another exchange student from China if I recall. Hiryu Rin I think. He can grow scales on himself and he appeared in the obstacle race telling EVERY class to work together to get past the 0 point robots. They always find a place to fit these kids in scenes you don’t think about. Then throw in Shinso bulking up. He said he was going to keep trying for the hero course from the background after Deku just said NO to his brainwashing. (And THAT whole scenario remains a mystery.) And he’s not getting formal hero training. If the hero kids are noticing, that’s PRETTY substantial growth. We see what the kids are doing to get so skilled but Shinso’s methods remain unknown. I’m not going to really acknowledge Nezu’s speech other than I’m watching this suspicious mouse VERY carefully. Not much here other than Nezu told All-Might that there’s a kid he recommended to All-Might AS AN OFA CANDIDATE before he found Deku. That’s HUGE. I’ll just say THANK GOD Hound Dog is a GUIDANCE COUNSELOR. WHOSE IDEA WAS THAT?! That is unironically one of the funniest scenes for NO REASON. “Yesterday….(BARKS WILDLY)…LEAVES THE STAGE.” Work Studies have entered the fray making ANOTHER new facet shared with real life career paths. Getting a paid job with your studies is one HECK of an ordeal to balance a LOT of. And it demands more than the internship did. And the INTERNSHIP was enough field time to convince Iida, Todoroki, and Deku to split off from supervision to fight STAIN. But that has to wait. Present Mic has to teach us English. His lingo is such an easy fit for an English class. Uraraka freaks out because of her initial collapse at the Sports Fest from her battle with Bakugo when she had the opportunity to sweep through her side of the bracket. And now she thinks none of that even mattered. (So her panicked concern of her family’s financial situation would matter less. Guess what? THAT’S still relevant to her story) She’s still in a good place regardless because she IS still among the strongest of the 40 kids altogether and is still able to pace with the likes of Bakugo. (He’s ahead because of his boiled arm upgrade but they were in practical stalemate prior to that and she focused on stamina not power at camp) And we finally get to an introduction of the biggest students of UA High to finish off. The Big 3 have arrived. I’ll just say that Aizawa didn’t wait for Bakugo to get off house arrest to introduce them since he has not provisional license. And that’ll be where we leave off for the season finale.
@@HaydrogenBomb she was under the impression that the sports fest scouting was a much bigger deal and now she learns that there’s a higher opportunity that PAYS and that to her devalued all her effort at the sports fest. Especially since her success rides on her getting financial stability for herself and her family. And Aizawa set her straight by saying Sports Fest scouting plays a higher role in work studies since they aren’t mandatory. So she’s still in a better place from being in the final round robin and having one of the best fights of the tournament. But would’ve been better if she overcame Bakugo.

The hero world is messed up. We don't see it with out cast, but she meet others that are from poor neighborhoods are are suffering from metal problems are the heroes turn away from. It may be cool to be a hero, but there are some shadows. Like that new reporter said, which I wish others paid more attention to. The work-studies and Overhaul episodes are going to be fun.
If all of twice’s clones turn into mud when they die, why couldn’t he figure out if he’s the real one? Surely if they were all clones then he’s the real one, if there’s one dead body then he’s a clone.
Isn't it interesting that of all the villains to choose from, the one that the writers chose to be taken out so quickly and unceremoniously, was the "trans" villain?

I can’t wait until you all get to season 4
Overhaul is my second favorite character !! I know he literally @bused Eri, but I can't bring myself to hate him, no clue why. His quirk is so unique and the way he uses it to manipulate Eri is wild. While writing this, I am realizing how messed up I am, but ..
I think they'd both love Puella magi madoka magica. Specially with how they enjoy making theories. It's a really great anime, they would love it 😌
This is my favorite arc, I am sooooo excited for yall to watch it 🤩🤩🤩🤩
The next story plot is my favourite!
Sir Nighteye is on his Way
Underrated comment
Next episode is gonna be hype!
stand aside the goat has arrived (overhaul)
Stockpiling is FAST.)
Now that All-Might is gone, villains start to see that teamwork actually matters again.
“Yesterday….(BARKS WILDLY)…LEAVES THE STAGE.”
Work Studies have entered the fray making ANOTHER new facet shared with real life career paths.
(He’s ahead because of his boiled arm upgrade but they were in practical stalemate prior to that and she focused on stamina not power at camp)
And we finally get to an introduction of the biggest students of UA High to finish off. The Big 3 have arrived. I’ll just say that Aizawa didn’t wait for Bakugo to get off house arrest to introduce them since he has not provisional license. And that’ll be where we leave off for the season finale.
I don't understand. Why was Ururaka freaking out when she heard about work studies?
@@HaydrogenBomb she was under the impression that the sports fest scouting was a much bigger deal and now she learns that there’s a higher opportunity that PAYS and that to her devalued all her effort at the sports fest. Especially since her success rides on her getting financial stability for herself and her family. And Aizawa set her straight by saying Sports Fest scouting plays a higher role in work studies since they aren’t mandatory. So she’s still in a better place from being in the final round robin and having one of the best fights of the tournament. But would’ve been better if she overcame Bakugo.
Kenny does not take All Might slander kindly
Hope the patrion people suggest you watch Vinland Saga! That is a show I'd be soooooo hyped for you two to watch and discuss
Best boy is here
You guys should watch Your lie in April (dub)
for all the flaws the dub has , i absolutely LOVE their portrayal of twice
i like how his voice when he's full it the combination of his two other voice
such a great detail
Dub has pretty few flaws
@@everburn Yeah, MHA has one of those dubs I enjoy so much that I can't really get invested in the sub (sry)
@haydenberends3905 i love the dub too
but firstly, nothing can top the sub for me
secondly, they have some irritating translation errors and sometimes just can't get the emotion of some scene tho
thankfully, the upcoming season doesn't have that for the most part
Love the new music
Am I the only who thinks the way Montana, says "Who are you" is cool?
AND MY FAVORITE CHARACTER ARRIVESSSSSS 🕺🏽🕺🏽💃🏾💃🏾
Uh oh I remember what's gonna happen now 😓
anyone know the name of the song that was playing in the intro?
Can’t wait for the goat endeavor🔥🔥
He's here, baby
I love this episode I can’t wait to see yours reactions
The best boi is now here!
The face wall guy is a forigner and hence looks different lol, so racist but hey, love Miro
Oooh, we finally meet the character most like Kenny!
It's Him
For your next show please react to Doctor who, its not an animated show but I would love to see Montanas takes on some of the ethical dilemmas in the show.
Big 3!
If all of twice’s clones turn into mud when they die, why couldn’t he figure out if he’s the real one? Surely if they were all clones then he’s the real one, if there’s one dead body then he’s a clone.
Hmm if Montana hates Endeavor then she'd probably hate itachi for sure? lol
You guys should check out watching Lost next!!

okay my favourite characters are here mirio and tamaki!!!!
Isn't it interesting that of all the villains to choose from, the one that the writers chose to be taken out so quickly and unceremoniously, was the "trans" villain?
That.s tyler durden
i cant wait for season 4 for montana to react to chisaki fully
I will always prefer the dub especially to this show as they just fit better
3:48
Water sucks. Gatorade is better.
