As a Titan, I’ve always run 100 res, disc, and str. 30s in everything else in PvE. Bump the mobility up to 50 or 70 in PvP.
For trials 100 res, rec, int on bubble. 40s and 30s everything else.

Recovery to me is nice but not needed. As long as I get a five recovery, I’m fine.
Not a warlock, of course . But titans all have a damage, mitigation perk that are super easy to activate if you play smart and don’t overextend yourself too bad.
Hunters can go invisible on any class, and the build that don’t, give you things like to 2 escape, bungee cords, known as tethers, combination, blow, that blinds the enemies, or snow, globe, grenades that slow and freeze the enemies that work as a giant defensive wall.
I would much rather on a titan have the hammer I missed , my shoulder charge with Perrigan grieves or synthos that one shot champions back, then my health recharging 2.8 seconds faster.
A minute 40 shoulder charge gets cut down to 30 seconds. I’ll trade that for 2.8 seconds of recovery any day, especially since the shouldercharge should’ve just dropped an orb that immediately triggers health regeneration.

Same. As a warlock it's very important especially in emergency situations. I'm trying to weaponize all my rifts but it's harder than you think.
I'm thinking about maining transverse steps to get that speed and reload and put ability Regen second.
And that also means lowering my fire power

I'd say Discipline is the second most important on Titan. The main Arc build this season is a grenadier/ability spam build and Void builds often rely on killing something with a grenade to get volatile rounds. A hammer build normally uses the healing grenade as an oh-shit! button, which shouldn't be often, but it also doesn't really need any of the other stats anyway.

    • @SneakyBeaver
      @SneakyBeaver  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Yeah, I mentioned leaning towards DSC if people are going the lightning grenade route.
Likewise for the weaken grenades or using it for volatile rounds.

For a titan what should i use for ghost mod and armor spark if i want triple 100 resilience, recovery, and strength? With heart of inmost light

  • @The_0G_Chad
    @The_0G_Chad 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

I pretty much agree, but I bet you’re a warlock main? 😂 Discipline outside of resilience is absolutely mandatory on Titan and nice to extremely nice on Hunter. Grenades are just too OP. They are basically a tiny gated unlimited rocket launcher Or 🐛 launcher. But they are used both as defensive and offensive weapons. Almost every class is now more tied in to the grenade then the most grenade focused builds when D2 first released.
Pulse grenade titan is the king. You get Ionic trace back and heart of in most light still gives you five seconds of overcharged damage and regen right. So with ionic traces and Hoil and 100 discipline I get my pulse grenade back before my eighth damage tick. Unlimited grenades.
But with low discipline, you’re naked.
People do not realize the pulse grenade with jolt is used as a defensive weapon . It stands everything except bosses. It has a chance to stun on every tick.
Also, with the titan fragment the pulse grenade escalates damage on every tick.
Void titan absolutely requires Vortx grenade in all game modes. In PVP you can suck enemies right next to your bubble while you go out and smack them, or with the barricade.
Also, 100 discipline plus titan barricade or bubble plus an orb means you get the grenade back right away. Once again Vortx is a defensive weapon. It stuns everything except bosses.
Finally on hammer titan, the incinerator grenade is a must if you have your healing sorted out. It doesn’t just do a ton of scorch and a ton of damage. It also stuns hard but more importantly, because the wave of fire 🔥 is spaced out one second apart it never lets the enemy lose scorch ticks so you can do things like switch to heavy weapons, back up and get a running start for a shoulder charge, go recover a Hammer you missed, etc.
But the very best part , it can damage 100 enemies in a row as long as they’re in a line so it’s amazing for blocking entrances and going underneath shields.
If you’re going for maximum ignition damage, if you’re going for area denial on a cap. If you’re going for stunning and reignition… there’s only one choice.
Discipline at 100 allows you to run synthoceps and get your grenade back in 2 hammers.
If you’re in trouble, and about to die, because a whole group of enemies are firing on you, you simply throw it on the ground and run for cover as their stunned .
If an enemy in PVP is chasing you, because you have low health, launch it on the ground in a doorway or choke point, and he literally has to wait and by then your full health.
Do I need to explain why stasis needs 100 discipline? Especially when sliding in the crystals is the equivalent of old shatter dive.
Lastly, Titans only get one grenade for tether in strand . The tether shouldercharge is one of the most powerful there is. You can perform it even when you do not have a Melee.
Do you want to wait over a minute to use a tether charge?
On top of all those reasons , Titans always have artificial means of protection. Every time you melee, you get an orb and if you put the restoration mod on your boots when you pick up an orb, it’s auto heal.
Outside of that, all the classes have some sort of over shield or woven mail or knock out that can bypass recovery. Recovery is now in the same spot as in elect where it’s nice to have but easily avoidable as far as the gameplay loop.
Grenade is not optional on Titan. And I would argue it’s not really optional on any of the classes.
Grenades are simply too amazing in this game, especially when you pair them up with perks like adrenaline junkie and demolitionist or jolt, ignition, and volatile rounds.
One minute is what you get with a discipline of four while picking up orbs. 8 to 20 seconds is what you get with a 10 discipline picking up orbs. It’s exponentially better.
Almost any player in the game can kill 8 to 20 seconds to use a weapon that does as much damage as a rocket launcher, provides orbs on demand and almost always is tied to the seasonal artifact.
Grenades are also amazing for getting your super, class, ability and punch, while being completely safe or launching things over cover that you can’t shoot at .
Everything I’ve mentioned is solo. When you get three guys together, using their grenades, it’s devastating and can do more burst damage than heavy weapons while getting all your other powers.

Depends on the hunter build you go for
But I like 100 on discipline, recovery, and resilience. To make up for not having 100 on mobility I just make sure I’m in the ball park for mid 30s and run a perk from stasis that gives you a 60 point buff to mobility during major fights so essentially you have quad 100 stats when you absolutely need it

    - Non-Arc PvE Hunter: Mobility, Resilience and Discipline
    - Non-Arc PvP Hunter: Mobility, Recovery and Discipline (with Resilience at least 30)
    - Arc Hunters, all Warlocks, all Titans: Resilience, Recovery and Discipline
Intellect and Strength are, as noted in the video, usually not very valuable, though they can be important in PvP. Generally, if you have 100 in Resilience and Discipline, regardless of your character, you’re gonna be fine - just put as much as you can in Recovery (100 if you can).
Hunters need Mobility in PvE for class ability regeneration rate, which with Gambler’s Dodge is also tied virtually by default to melee ability regeneration rate. Resilience is a requirement, and so is Discipline due to the importance of grenades in higher end content. Most strong PvE Hunter loadouts will max out these three stats.
Because Arc Hunters can become Amplified most of the time during combat, they gain +50 Mobility almost constantly, plus the improved ability regeneration rate that Amplified also provides. Thus, Mobility can be a dump stat for Arc Hunters. You can ignore Strength and Intellect, too.
Strength is helpful for Omnioculus Void Hunters to enable near-constant invisibility. If you can get Mobility, Resilience and Strength to 100 for that build, do it. Do the best you can with Discipline. Otherwise, ignore Strength because your Gambler’s Dodge, which is tied to Mobility, will return your powered melee energy to you instantly. Other powered melee Hunter abilities have ways of recharging themselves, such as Solar’s Weighted Knife or Strand’s rope dart attack.
Pre-Lightfall, quad-100 builds were easily possible, though with the changes to the armor mod system, this became much more difficult, though still technically possible with four pieces of well-rolled Artifice armor, the right subclass fragments, and a well-rolled exotic armor piece.
Generally, as a Hunter, unless you are on Arc, in PvE you should treat Recovery and Intellect as dump stats. Some invisibility builds can make use of Strength, but otherwise treat it as a dump stat, too.

What was mentioned for intellect can be said for discipline. You have mods and weapon perks that assist with discipline, so I fell you can go with either.

    • @SneakyBeaver
      @SneakyBeaver  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

While that is true, there are some situations you cannot apply that to. For example I can't spam and abuse orb-related mods anywhere near as well or fast in crucible than you can in PvE so in that situation discipline could be handy esp for things like Arc Titan lightning nade spam.
All just comes down to being situational and what the person is aiming for.

Great info! and Yeah... recently Recov has been a stat I've been sactificing a lot lately, sometimes I let it tank completely when I run Bonk Titan because I have Restoration or Overshield or Devour or Invis hunter, AssCowl, where you just hide to max out more important Stats. Warlocks tho, yeah, absolutely can't compromise Recov.
Sidenote: I still wish they'd tweak Mobility to affect Reload and/or Handling, in the same way they buffed Resilience to affect a number of things that made it a desirable stat. This will make Mob a worthwhile stat for Warlocks and Titans since Handling is actually desirable for weapon swaps in PVE and obviously reload speed everyone likes. Plus it makes it so Hunters don't feel bad for having to spread across 3 of the top half stats (Mob/Res/Rec) while Warlocks and Titans can comfortable max out both Res and Recov.

The armor pieces that actually drop from bonfire bash aren’t supposed to be good, you re-roll them with silver ash to be good. The grind is getting silver leaves from other activities and then converting them to silver ash by doing bonfire bash. It is worth it if have the time.
