I have a question -- does the armor picker site also disects the armor in the vault or do you have to have the armor working on in your character slot ?

Farm specific armor peices from all the vendors with 68 rolls where you want the stats. Then boom. You have super close to artifice armor without having to grind the hell out of the master dungeons (and hopefully get a 68 stat roll where you want the stats from said dungeon). I have 90, 90,90,91, and 22 armor rolls. Just need an aritifce titan mark. Helmet, chest and arms all from seasonal vendors. But like someone else said, fragments mean more than The stats, even though they do help. As an FYI, I've done about 14 master dungeons the last week, a no mark. 3 master warlords and 11 master grasps(before the reset) which was bugged and gave me the same loot every time. Once the reset happened 2 days ago, I got the hand cannon, nornal mark, and sword for the first time after 15 runs). Took the reset to get rid of the bug. Now I can't farm it now lol
Best lazy way is to have an exotic with the stats you want. Farm seasonal engrams till you have 50 - 100. Focus ur ghost towards a stat you want for the build. Buy random armor from the vendor (I do 20 of one stat than swap). Throw it all into your vault then use d2 armor picker to pick the stats you want for your build and let it cycle through the armor. DIM helps you equip and lock that armor, then upgrade it with shards till you have the build you want. You can save the old armor in case you end up needing to do another build down the road.

Thank you for the help :)
This just blew my mind. I have been playing for a few years and just recently decided to try and step up from just a casual player. I have been struggling getting 100 in just a single stat and I had no idea that the D2 armor picker even existed. This has been so helpful!!! I was always terrible about dismantling every piece of armor I came across if it was not higher than my current power. now I will be looking a lot closer at those stats!
u have probably already gotten there but endgame in this game is not very difficult. u do not need godrolls or perfect stats for any activity in this game, obviously it will help, but i would prioritize getting god rolls on weapons over having perfect triple 100 builds.

Depends a bit on your class, but also if you're trying to get a bit serious about pvp. One thing I wish bungie would do is make it so that if you were to delete an exotic armor piece, it would give you an ascendant shard. Just one. It takes 3 to completely level it up. But to have it give back in turn would be nice. Say you run a legend/master lost sector and you get some lower level exotic gear. You don’t want it. You get rid of it. What do you get? Legendary shards and some glimmer. And maybe you get some enhancement cores from the run too. Well, you’re close to leveling up the next piece of gear to max. You’re just missing the ascendant shards. Now I know there’s the exchange part with rahool but it takes more cores and prisms to make the shard than what it does to level up the exotic. It sucks.
I used to have a problem getting them too, but once you get one good build, weapons for dealing with the different champions, and your light level high enough to even launch GM nightfalls, you'll be absolutely swimming in them, especially on a week the nightfall of choice is one of your favorites/fits your build well
@@sterlingd1984 I have all the weapons and armor I would ever need but no clan or friends to play with. I refuse to use LFG. Too many assholes on there.
Now this is what I’ve been looking for! Only one question tho, it’s about that wishful armor focus, does that only set the bonus for the Wyrmgaurd armor? Or does it also apply for the others like vanguard
I'm not sure if you've done it more recently, but they updated it (semi-recently) to be much better stats for all exotics in the game. That's not to say you are gonna get a perfect roll on the first try, but it is definitely noticeably better than it was a few months ago.
I'll try again also but all I've ever gotten from focusing with Rahool is lost golf balls and shredding what I just focused. Kinda like amor focusing with vendors to maybe get a 55 stat with shit rolls. It's just a "Don't Do" but I'll check it out a few times to see if it's been fixed
Good stuff, but focusing exotic armor is extremely resource expensive and the rolls usually suck. I want at least a base of 68 to work with, but I rarely get those through focusing. Most of them wind up getting scrapped.
Thank you for the video!! I just got back into Destiny and I see people with all these high stats and I was like how do they do it just grinding? But this was helpluf I’m maxed on wish engrams and I thought exotic engrams were useless but I’ll try and build some now, thanks!!
Nice video, great explanation. I'm going to do this. One thing I thought of while watching is to do Resilience instead of Discipline. The only reason I say this is Discipline costs 3 for the big mod and Resilience costs 4. That way you need less Resilience mods to get to 100, and can use the extra charge on some other mod.
But the way the stat pools are split then you’re going to get 2 high stats in discipline, strength, or intellect. If you focus discipline then either mobility, recovery or resilience will be your other high stats. You focus discipline so that you can get 2 high stats in the top 3 rather than the bottom three. Much more useful and 100% worth the extra point the resilience mod takes.
Focus armor, keep the rolls with high numbers in the primary 2-3 stats you want and low(ish) numbers in the stats you don't, and toss em in the vault. If you want to make your life of min-maxing your stat distribution easier, use something like DIM (destiny item manager) that let's you put in the stat thresholds and exotics you consider minimum requirements

1:57 actually works a lot better as a hunter Main to run resilience and mobility. Try to keep recovery up, but resilience is really going to be more helpful in the long run.
Grasp of Avarice is tomorrow. I highly recommend farming the final boss cause he’s fairly easy once you get used to erasing the yellow shank and vandal at the beginning. I’m planning on farming for both my titan and warlock. Hunter is mostly covered but do want very low strength/high recovery parts. We will see. Also yes, fragments get you to 100s.
I've felt for a while that different dungeons seem to have very different Artiface stat averages, so that is something I want to follow up on over the coming weeks to do a few runs through each Master dungeon and see if there are some patterns there. (I know for a while Duality was dropping *extremely* good Artiface armor, but I think I've heard that has since been changed - this was like more than a year ago at this point though so I need to go back in to test these things)
Grasp has 100% been the play for a mate of mine and me. It just seems to help boost us. Duality didn't help, but heard good stories. Other dungeons no-one has ever said it's good

Triple 100’s is easy , however when you make your build you get dinged for negatives to drop your stats
GOATed video. Thank you for this!
I played D2 at launch for about a year. I started again last week. It’s very overwhelming.
Great video! Super helpful, thank you
Thank you, thank you, thank you! This was so straightforward and helpful.
4:42 Whenever I've focused exotic engrams at Rahool, he has always given me super low stats. I mean super low, immediate shard, stats.
I'm not sure if you've done it more recently, but they updated it (semi-recently) to be much better stats for all exotics in the game. That's not to say you are gonna get a perfect roll on the first try, but it is definitely noticeably better than it was a few months ago.
@@Dukeiscool Okay thanks for the heads up. I'll start trying him again. 👍
Big thanks, helped a lot!
Do u have a build for titan
So I'm a little confused do I need to collect a bunch of armor to be able to create a build ? I'm trying to learn this is just very difficult alone
Could’ve done triple 90 with just 8 engrams that’s nuts!
what is the armor stats you have on specifically? if you dont mind
This was awesome! Just subbed.
Thank you, I learned so much.
Appreciate you making this, though I dont really understand how D2 armor picker works, so I either do in game, or on DIM (Destiny Item Manager).
Hallelujah thank you for explaining this so well without making me feel like an idiot 😂
3:56 also good for increasing your gunsmith reputation when you delete extra stuff you get, and helping you to store more resources.
Hi thanks mate great video 👍Im a new player and it is really helpfull . Im kinda lost what to do at the helm tho cant access anything there i have only legacy collection maybe i need any other dlc for it?
Each section of the HELM corresponds to a different season, so you will need the seasons to access each specific vendor in the HELM.
Are the seasonal engrams available in the free track or just the paid track? I just came back after a LOOOOOONG hiatus and really am struggling to understand how to find this seasonal stuff. for reference I am in Season of the Wish (free) and I have not received any engrams nor do I have access to past content.
Don’t have ghost mods and can’t seem to get them
Need to masterwork your ghost.
Am I missing something with collecting the other seasonal heirlooms I don't seem to have any others available in helm
this video was great thank you for the help.
Perfect just what i needed after coming back into the game thanks boss
1:57 actually works a lot better as a hunter Main to run resilience and mobility. Try to keep recovery up, but resilience is really going to be more helpful in the long run.
Mobility is useless if you know how it works and have an actual build that can reset your Dodge on command.
Hunter Main
Very informational video. Thanks so much 😊
Before this video I didn’t think reaching 100 on anything was possible, let alone 3
I spent 99 engrams with riven and the the best armor I got was 67 with a varied distribution. I assumed that’s as high as it goes for that vendor.
unlucky
What should I put on my ghost for hunter if I want high mobility and intellect with resilience
Do you have to have the season pass for the season to be able to focus the legendary armor?
Other dungeons no-one has ever said it's good
@@Dukeiscool me and my nephew got triple 100s with just one day of grinding. Would’ve been less but it took us a while to get the one phase kill down due to inexperience and constantly bad LFG player as a trio. If it helps you collect any data, we did this grind about 1.5 months after lightfall launched. I’ll also update you if I get good rolls on my titan/warlock. Shouldn’t take so long as I don’t want triple 100s on them cause I’m a hunter main, but do want decent rolls cause I want to experience both pvp and pve on each subclass. Especially on my titan since I was sort of a warlock/hunter main in d1.
@@fallenangeltv6973 so farming the final boss in grasp gives high stat armor?
@@DukeiscoolI think they made the change when people were bullying Galrhan at the start of lightfall? I can’t remember which exactly.
Great video! Subscribed
In order for me to grab the engrams from the helm, I would need the season pass + light fall correct? I haven't purchased it and I do not see it available for me at the helm
You told me what to do, but EXPLAINED it like I was a new light (which I am 😆❤️) thank you, uwu!
thanks and happy new year!
Same to you!
The best guide yet on getting high stat armor subscribed deserved !
How do you get the artifacts from the other seasons???
2023's Solstice armor was great to help out with buildcrafting armor, you could get the Armorer buff and then apply essentially a second Armorer roll on the same armor- kind of
Thanks dude! So helpful!!
If players don't have the annual pass, they can't get the previous two seasons' artifacts, right? Wondering if it's worth getting the pass for the access to engrams/bounties
Im returning player im wonder is this possible without wartable and other focuses because i dont have access to them i used to play before fragments and aspects so im kinds lost there
This is a great video, thanks
What if I don't have the season pass?
Do you need to pay $ for the seasonal mod?
I had quad 100’s on my wellock. Probably still do or close to it. Haven’t played for a while. Last I played was root of nightmares and got the challenge mode achievement. It does feel good having quad 100’s tho. After cheesing the dungeon boss off the map 500 times 😂
So what is a max single piece roll. Ive seen 68 on your video.
