Hey! I have a question. Do they hire former teachers for corporate training positions? I’m just arming myself with backups in case I get burned out of teaching! Also I love how you use a planner!
I'm here for the same reason. Back up plan from teaching. Corporate trainer was suggested as a viable option ... interestingly... before I started teaching I wanted to do corporate training ... here I am back at this lol
@RainWanders hi, thank you so much! Is it true you need a portfolio? I have applied to several instructional design jobs and am not getting any offers. I honestly have heard that they pass up teachers for these positions because like every teacher wants to go into it, lol! Also, if you don’t mind me asking, what is your pay/work life balance like?
