I really like them. I looked up the meaning of Melange and it derives from the Middle French verb mesler, which means "to mix." So that explains the mix of colors, but looked further under what it means for clothing. It said that it was yarn of either different colors (mix/medley) spun together or a mix of different fibers spun together. I thought it was cool to look up why they named it that. Also, it said that India was the first to begin this in 1980. I like how all the color names are related to show biz. Hope this wasn't too boring. I find it interesting. You Americans are SO lucky to have so many beautiful yarns at such reasonable prices, here in the UK we do not have such a great choice, this yarn is over twice the price here! Enjoy and don't complain that it's expensive!!
It is the same here in Australia. I really love the look of this yarn, especially the way it is so easy to undo. However, here in Australia, it is $19.00 AU dollars per cake. I love the colors in this roll they are the best for doing pillows and throws for welcoming fall.
