This is your space to do with as you please and what feels natural to you and brings you happiness. At this point, you've had so much yarn through your hands I can't imagine there's much left you haven't tried

For an old lady who has crocheted for over 50 years you have taught me so much. You brought me a love of yarn that I never would have had but for watching you talk about yarn. I have used some really special yarn thanks to you. RHSS was about the only thing I knew of until you showed me there is a difference in the yarn you use. I may never be able to afford those special yarns again but thank you for showing me there is a difference. Now you do you and what makes you happy. I will miss seeing you get excited about yarn but you give us such a variety of tutorials that anybody can find something they want to do. To Crystal: I wholeheartedly support your decision to focus more on the tutorials! I came back to crochet after some years not doing it and your tutorials particularly helped me get my "chops" back. Anyone at whatever level of experience can benefit from your video tutorials because they are well thought out, well shot and edited, and clear in the steps. They also encourage viewers to make whatever you're instructing on their own, which is something that is incredibly empowering for someone coming back to a craft they now love again.

My husband just passed away, and it was YOUR tutorial on the blanket stitch that gave me the confidence to START (almost finished!!) my first project. I am self taught. When I retired and returned to crochet, I mostly did blankets with value acrylic. Since starting to watch you, I have been able to confidently make wearables, home decor, and all things crochet! My to do list is so long now it's incredible, my yarn stash is large and now includes a great variety of fibers and price points. You are definitely a go to for education and confidence building. You are an incredible instructor and believe me when I say I have tried watching other tutorials but nobody comes close to you. I love your “skip, skip, skips” and can’t stop saying it myself. Remember you have also taught us, “You do you.” Glad you are taking your own advise.

💖Crystal, I have been watching you for so many years and because of you and The wonderful BOD FAMILY I have been able to deal with LIFE!! Most recently the loss of my best friend, my husband. I too am a weirdo, deal with insomnia and, depression. Please don’t ever, ever regret having turned the camera around my friend🥲I’m 67 now and you remind me of my younger years. I now have 5 kids, grandkids, furry babies and my room, my sanctuary🙏🏼and my peace. I’m still here enjoying you even if just your voice!! I love you my friend, and respect you beyond words.
