I invited English comedian, #RussellHoward to join the stream in #Denmark. We did a bunch of #comedy gigs and we also did some STREEAAMING. According to Russell we do things a little differently in Denmark when it comes to Stand Up.

@C J The biggest gang war in European history was in Denmark, between the ethnically Danish Hell's Angels and predominantly Danish Bandidos, sure the groups you talk about are currently more willing to use their firearms because they are trying to gain territory, but to suggest that Hell's Angels and bandidos don't use firearms, makes you a fucking moron.
Also it is actually very easy to get a license in Denmark, it is hard to hold on to however if you use your rifle for crime. To own a handgun you have to be a competitive shooter.

It's kind of weird. I don't understand the language, but I can still kind of feel the timing, so it made me chuckle.

I've been watching a lot of Russel Howard shows on youtube lately and I'm a huge fan on Simon, so this is very well timed!

Dont worry i find your language pretty hard as well. Ones we switched from Swedish to purely Danish TV. Kids my age dont learn anything about your language anymore.

I find it fascinating that Norwegians (such as myself) can understand Danish easily-ish - while it does not go the other way around. I guess it has something to do with the fact that we watch alot of Danish and Swedish shows while growing up. Loved watching Russel trying to understand!

Loved the show in Odense, Simon warmup and Russell just winging it, testing stuff and just having a blast.
I'm Danish but I've lived abroad since I was 3 and I can honestly relate to the first so much 😂I'm still learning to write in Danish and using æøå can be so hard

Russell Howard have been my hero for so many years. Loved you Talbot in Comedy fight club but haven't really watched danish comedy the last 10 years because I find the british humor so much better but this new "partnership" has given me a new love for Simon. Will have to watch the older stand up shows now.

Wow. Really interesting insite! I'll have to look at more of your stuff :D It's interesting how comedy in US and UK has evolved away from physical comedy and stage skits. Looking back only a few years ago at famous comedians like Robin Williams and Rowan Atkinson who really excelled at physical comedy makes me realise how much I miss it. The US comedians have small rooms for stand-up and the UK have panel shows where comedians have to sit down the entire time. That fall inspired me to watch old clips of Buster Keaton. How many comedians have learnt the art of the comedic fall? Excuse me whist I go on a binge watching session :)

The third one was kind of easy, don't you think? One of the options is "A sniper called Flemming", and then the guy gets "shot" and says the name Flemming. You would have to be REALLY drunk and tired to go with one of the other options.
