  • Have you ever wanted to take a look inside the guts of the legendary AK-107 to find out exactly how it accomplishes it’s recoil-defying commie space magic? I hope so, because that’s exactly what we’re doing!
    ----
    About Me
My name is Brandon Herrera. I'm the owner and operator of The AK Guy Inc, a 07 Firearm Manufacturer based out of Fayetteville, NC. I also co-own Stark Media Group, and designed the rifle known as the AK-50.
I've started to dedicate this TH-cam channel above all to have fun, but also as a way to document my entrepreneurial journey for the next few years as I try to grow my companies. Hopefully, people can learn from my example, successes, and failures.
Either way, I'm having a lot of fun with it so far, and I hope it's just as fun to follow along!

*And no, I am not building these. If you’d like to front the serious $$$ For R&D, then we can talk 😂😂😂*
If you have other guns (preferably AK, but not required!) that you’d like to see me dive into like this, let me know in the comments! Thanks guys!

But I still don't get a rail to put my tacti-cals (tactical testicles) on an AK. Gotta get your priorities straight lol
Edit: For reference, my rail setup is going to be a light, a bike horn, and some kind of massive joke mounted testicles. First you sneak up on the guy, then blow the bike horn, then when they turn around you turn on the light, shoot them, and finally let your gun t-bag them. Sounds like the average self defense scenario to me

@@KaiservonKrieger Chill dude, I was agreeing. In any case, I find it a pity that the caseless ammunition that the G11 was attempting to utilize was never further researched upon.
The major issue that new rifles put out by Textron and General Dynamics look to address is the weight of all the ammunition the soldier would be expected to carry. Both companies are attempting to fix this by using Polymer ammo casing instead of traditional brass like we have been using for more than 100 years now. I personally would have loved to see caseless ammo explored as an option to solve the ammo weight issue, but I recognize that the ammo the G11 had did have issues.
It was reported that the propellant blocks the ammo sat in had issues with cracking and falling apart, primers(which were glued onto the backs of the propellant blocks) not sticking, and generally brass ammo being better at heat management(Hot brass comes out of the gun = less heat in the gun).
But things have changed since the 70s. We have better materials and it may be possible to build a better caseless ammo.

What's hilarious about the whole "chainsaw-bayonet" idea is that it was dreamed up by people who have never seen what happens when a chainsaw hits flesh. About all it's good for is making a huge mess.

    • @jamesrivettcarnac

      @@MFKR696 isn't that the point?

    • @MFKR696
      @MFKR696 4 ปีที่แล้ว

@@jamesrivettcarnac Nope. Totally not the point. The point (pun intended) of using a bayonet is to kill the enemy, not splatter his guts all over the field. A chainsaw bayonet would take too long to do the job, because it would snag like a mofo, and it would make a hell of a mess in the mean-time. You can forget about being stealthy, too. A chainsaw bayonet would rattle and clank like there's no tomorrow, and the second you fire it up, everyone on the field now knows *exactly* where you are. It would also be way too heavy. Ounces = pounds and pounds = pain.
I know you probably think a chainsaw would be intimidating, but all that would result in is you drawing the fire of every rifle, machine-gun and mortar that the enemy had looking in your direction. "Intimidating" equals "fire magnet" in the real world. If the enemy saw you with that, you would be the first to die, because you know there's no way in hell they're gonna let you get anywhere near them. Besides, you don't get to Valhalla by cutting your enemies in half with a fucking chainsaw. That's not the conduct of a warrior. The job of a warrior is to kill, not to create undue suffering. That kind of shit just makes your enemy stronger. The more they hate you, the harder they're gonna fight you, and the less likely it will be that they will take any prisoners.
