    The empty etb boxes work well if you use top loaders. Sleeve the card and put em in a top loader and it fits like a glove in an etb box.

      @pokefamcollectors  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah no loose cards but if they are protected they are a nice “free” option

      Top loaders are not good. They are made out of PVC. It is not archival. Sure, your penny sleeve it, but why use them. Do you ever wonder why the sleeves and card savers say "pvc free"?
      Use a penny sleeve and a card saver if you are serious about archival, or just a penny sleeve and a ringless zipper binder.

      @@wizzblizzwhat about penny sleeve and put it inside semi-rigid? Is that better than top loader

    • @ihateturtles905

      @@edboss36 in my opinion semi rigids with penny sleeves are better than top loaders with penny sleeves bc semi rigids have a better grip on the card and it wont fall out and potentially get damaged if you shake it unlike toploaders.

      @@ihateturtles905 I like how semi rigids are thin. But people said it doesn’t protect the card because it can still bend. Another option is a high quality binder which seems to also protect for years

    Thought you were going to say that beginning to store cards in a binder is all good until you start running out of space and can't easily reorganize. Have a binder with removable pages would allow us to have dedicated energy pages and be able to move types around without pulling them all out.

      Just make sure you have the D ring and your ok plus bcw has the side loaded pages you can use instead of the clear plastic ones

    That plastic bin looks perfect for my favorite Pokemon cards that I plan to keep in toploaders. Since I don’t buy cards all the time I might start out with the smaller 2-row bin that I saw. Cheaper on Amazon too.

    btw bcw also does a 1600 version as well. not bad

      Yeah I saw that plus it has the handle which I wish was on the 3200 also but the 1600 would be awesome for going to a card show or to a trade night or something

    Thanks, I use the 151 binder for my trading binder, I use my vault x 2 by 2 binder for generation 1, and I think I use a couple more I can’t remember lol, love this video, hope u get loads of subscribers on TH-cam! 😊

    • @pokefamcollectors
      @pokefamcollectors  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I don’t hate them, for me they are a little too expensive but I love the idea of being able to look at all of my top loaded cards on a page instead of keeping them in a bin. I’m gonna do a little more research and maybe do a video comparing binders thanks for the question.

    I was told a few weeks back that i shouldnt store cards in toploaders because of somethin called pvc/acid or whatever, is this legit?? Can someone debunk this so i can keep them in toploaders🙏🙏

    • @licalsinj
      @licalsinj 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Top loaders and penny sleeves used to be made from PVC and over time (50 years) they would degrade and damage your cards. Now top loaders and penny sleeves are made with polypropylene (PP) which won’t break down. You can verify what material the sleeve is made with using the recycling sign on the label. 3 is PVC and 5 is PP. I think you’d be hard pressed to find a name brand manufacturer that uses PVC these days.
