Not just elderly. I'm 43, but I can't travel due to severe nerve damage. The only way I can experience where I grew up is with Google Earth in VR. Despite Denmark being just a "bit" away from Norway, I can't go there. I can only go the store on a good day, and always have to make sure I can get an ambulance at any time. So it is amazing to pop into my headset and walk around in the streets where I grew up
I am so glad to be serving the people featured in this work. I'm grateful to work with the people who produced this, and so grateful to bring VR to these people. Thank you~
Can you recommend a brand and model of VR headset that works well? Also, any specific apps? I am using Android.

This is great. I do this for free for elders in my local low-income nursing homes. The headsets are so inexpensive now I bring 4 with me. This way I can start them at the same time and they can have a shared experience as they are seeing it. Its really magical when someone says "oh look at the that" and they are all seeing the same thing.

It's so sad seeing the photos of them when they were young and beautiful.. it's still difficult for me to imagine that everyone young today will also end up old like this as well.

I wish these 2 could bypass the time where one has to go and the other say goodbye, it's not fair , they're so wonderfully in love and their hearts are so precious. I would love to set and talk with them , listen to the tales of their adventures . We should all be so blessed to have this kind of love

I think you're doing a nice thing with this. It breaks the boundaries of age. It stimulates them and brings young and old together I think. Something to share. Some elderly are like prisoners waiting to die. This may give them some freedom even if it's just for a while. I'm getting close to 70 and bought one recently and it is fantastic. I play a few games which are fun but the traveling part takes me places I could never go. It can feel so real. It's a nice vacation from the humdrum of day to day. Well worth it. You can travel with no luggage or hotels to deal with. You get homesick you just take it off and boom your home lol. And no jet lag. Bless you for doing this for the elderly. Just be careful and don't stick them on a roller coaster.

I think she means is that the older you get the more you realize what love really means and how deep it really can be. Youth focus on outward appearances for love and are often disappointed. This lady spent her whole life with someone she cared about, through thick and thin. too many people don't have such relationships anymore
