This video is about 97 year old in a Tesla. Zev is a commercial real estate broker in Toronto, Canada at Gitalis Real Estate and introduces his 97 Year-Old Grandfather to "the future".
I've watched probably tens of thousands of youtube videos over the years and that has got to be my favorite one ever. So heartwarming. Thanks for sharing.
I love these videos. It’s a great concept. But this one was particularly heart warming. His curiosity about how everything worked was the best bit! What a lovely man. ♥️
Well to be fair, if the guy who uploaded the video still has the charger at home, he just has to charge it overnight and he wakes up to a full "tank" every morning. Not only is that cheaper but also more convenient too!
@@dannyphantom121 imagine waking up with a full tank every morning. unless your traveling more than 300 miles in one sitting you will never spend those 3 hours waiting you will always charge it while sleeping
I love petrol engines with my entire being and it breaks my soul to see them challenged by stupid electric cars, but even I can see that the electric car will work perfectly in 98% of all your travels granted you have a charger at your home. I am guessing off the top of my head that 90% of EV owners haven't even charged their car at a public charger, because they buy an EV because it suits their life with work and kids and it doesn't cost any petrol. I can see why that would be an awesome solution for them. Granted they have 70k laying in a bank somehwere.
Wow. What a great 97-year-old: intellectually sharp as a knife, perceptive, willing to accept new ideas, inquisitive, great sense of humor. The car's nice, too, but Grandpa steals the show.
Priceless! What a memory to have of your grandfather. My dad said in the fifties that EV's were our future or we wouldn't have one. Unfortunately he didn't see the future as he died very young over 67' years ago. He was an environmentalist before the term became common place.
I'm 72, and I was also floored by my first ride in a Tesla. Pretty heady business. Out on the highway, the driver put it through its paces for me. We more or less instantly got up to 123mph before he backed off, saying he didn't need that ticket - LOL! The only other time I'd felt that kind of acceleration was on an airport runway. 😆
Your grandpa really liked a lot experiencing a tesla,it is a dream of mine to buy one but they are expensive aff But being in my 20s and even genz borners in 2100 tehcnology will be so advanced to a point were will have the same reaction to your grandpa, the future is going to be wild !! My condolences because of your grandpa death 🙏
What a cool video

So flabbergasted that he forgot the word flabbergasted

Still a great video! Sir would be well over 100 now but looked BRILLIANT in his 90’s. Thank you for sharing this experience and time with him and us!
He was so adorable. I’m sorry for ur loss he’s protecting u! ❤️
“That long, huh?”
Says it all. He ain’t fooled. But Tesla owner is.
Imagine it took a whole hour to pump gas in ur car.

Woah 6 year old video with no comments?
Yup, TH-cam decided to turn off comments for some reason and then they somehow got deleted 😞
Hope I’m that sharp at that age wow
14.6M views and only this amount of comments??
How is your grandfather now?
He'd be 103, would probably just want his puddin' 🍮
He passed away when he was 99, but his older sister is still doing great at 108! Good genes!

@@zevgitalisI’m sorry for your loss. My one of my great grandparents passed away awhile ago and I wish I spent more time with them.
It's law where I live to install electric car chargers into new homes. Haven't seen a house get built in the last 2 years because of it.

ZEV, in 60 years from today, your grandson will give you a ride in his flying car to the Moon or Mars... LOL
Just wait until you tell him about how much you paid
tell him how much you spend on gas then
Shame he couldn't do a lap round the block himself
Why do you talk to him like he is a 6 year old?
Have you ever talked to someone above 80?
He was extremely hard of hearing!
Is he still alive?
He shouldn’t fidget with the screen as soon as he rides off. 🤐
Such a cool video
