    Ordered the Nutribullet Rx earlier today. I see people complaining about it not being able to make almond butter, etc, but im just after some smoothies and easy soups - which people say it is really good for - so im pretty excited about this :P

    • @EspenFrafalne
      @EspenFrafalne 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      LOL! The first thing i did when i got it, was to exchange the socket for a european socket. Not realizing it was american 110V instead of the 230V we have here... BUMMER! I had been looking so forward to getting it, and then it only lasts 10 seconds, LOL!!!
      A few hours later, i went and bought a much cheaper (~$100, 1000 watt) blender from the convenience store, and it has worked fine for my needs. Its now 11 months later, and i have not had any issues with it yet. I had previosuly bought the cheapest and least powerful one, and that one only lasted a few days...

    Thank you, it helps so much in the decision! We are so lucky that in the last 10 years so many great products came out, but it makes the decision a bit of a long process 😅Thanks again!🤗

    How did they make the soup hot? I thought it was cold water they added. Sorry if this is a dum question

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      MagicFerret69 Not at all! The friction caused by the power and blade creates heat! Crazy right? 🙃

    • @MagicFerret69
      @MagicFerret69 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Blender Babes wow that's cool. I just bought my ninja blender. I will try making soup :)

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately the Ninja won't really heat the soup with friction. The blade design and jar just doesn't do it despite the power. Let me know how the ninja works for your soup!

      @MagicFerret69 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Blender Babes I love my blender I have made some tasty vegetable soup . Blended the. E.g. For around 10 secs to make the veg pieces smaller. Then added some cold chicken oxo cubes water. Then warmed up. It was so tasty and fR cheaper than canned soup. I have a ton of soup as well . Much better value and you know what's in your soup. Now to try out my dough making. Blade for some home Made pizza. I am so glad a paid the extra premium for a amazing solid ninja blender. Cheap blenders are rubbish compared to this. Highly recommend guys

    Blender Babes I think y'all should of a review on the Oster 1100 vs the Ninja

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      emile bacchus Heyyyy! I did test both the Oster Versa 1100 and 1400 - not impressed! They were so bad! I haven't found the time to write a review and mostly have time to write reviews for blenders that I have tested and like, but I will add that to my To Do list!

  • @CarTipsAndReviews

    Why does blender babe Tarashaun always get stuck with the Ninja?

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      HighSpeed lol!! Very perceptive! The other Blender Babes are more familiar with the other blenders and since I do all the testing I like to make sure it's done correctly. Although in our very first Ninja video I had a lot of trouble twisting it on the base from behind 😂😂

    I appreciate the thoughtful Nature of this video but would you have a new update since May 12, 2016 when this comparison was done? This time, a VitaMix, Blendtec, Instant Pot Ace Plus and Oster Versa 1400 Pro? Unless you have any better list now? Thank you so much.

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chris St James Hi there! We have another video call Blendtec versus Vitamix hot soup if you want to see that one. I tested the Oster versa 1400 (but not the pro I think since it was a few years ago) and actually had a fail when making the same soup recipe. Unfortunately I wasn’t recording 🤷🏻‍♀️ although it did pretty well making a high fiber green smoothie and even grinding grain. I have not tested the instant pot ace plus yet though! Thanks for the feedback 😊

    Can the Nutra ninja be used to make soup?

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Nesha! Yes, the Nutri Ninja does make soup. The video above demonstrates the Nutri Ninja making a veggie soup compared to the NutriBullet. Based on the blend off, the Nutribullet did outperform the Nutri Ninja, however, the Nutri Ninja still was able to make a nice textured soup.

    of course, I'll happily keep my blendtec total blender. :)

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +vegangelist Hahaha! :D Yes the Nutri Ninja Duo didn't perform well in the soup test that's for sure. It did do well in some of our other tests though! You can learn more from our full NutriBullet Rx vs Nutri Ninja review. :) But neither are a Blendtec that's for sure!

    • @vegangelist
      @vegangelist 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Blender Babes Seems it didn't do well in the green smoothie head to head either.
      Of course, at that price point, I'd always be one to say "just get a Blendtec already" but this is good info because I DO know some who want something powerful but won't bite the Blendtec bullet, so to speak.
      I'm an old Blendtec groupie. My first BT blender was back before they were called "Blendtec" but were still just called "K-Tec HP3" Yup. Old School. ;)

    • @BlenderBabes

      +vegangelist I'm right there with you! We must have been bit by the blender bug around the same time!!
