Okay, just when I was about to purchase the Nutrabullet I see this demo and that changes everything. Thank you BIG TIME. The E310 looks preferable to the S30, more power, capacity and less expensive ...and it will still fit under my counter.
Will check out your website - you sir deserve top marks for a great demo and excellent video.

Thanks Henry. Athough I have a large old Vitamix, I was tired of scraping my smoothies out of the bottom of the large container. I was planning to get a Nutribullet for the convenience and ease in cleaning, but this video SOLD me. Bought a reconditioned S30 through your link. What a great service you are providing with your videos and I love your genuine enthusiasm! Thank you.

Great comparison PJ. I think those of us who use a Vitamix already had an idea what the outcome would be. The final word here is, "You get what you pay for".

Going on my second NutriBullet as the first one burned out after 2 years of 2x a week use.
I purchased another and now this one leaks due to the fact,
I remove the seal every so often to clean the debris that collects under it. The seal is compromised yet again, which caused the first NutriBullet to burn out from spillage.
The spilled residue actually remains in cup holder and eventually spills over in the vents.
    I’ve had it!!
    I’m buying the vita mix.

I've always wanted a Vitamix, but felt they were to expensive at the time. However after watching some girls on You tube on a Sunday evg., make sauce in a bullet, I was all but ready to go to BBB the very NEXT day to buy a $200 bullet, but wow am I EVER glad you did this full test on both!! That certainly made a believer out of me! Thank you over and over.

I purchased a used Nutribullet for $25. Works like a charm. I use it to make green smoothies. I am a raw vegan and would someday like to invest in a Vitamix but for now the Nutribullet more that serves my purpose for purchasing it. I ❤️ my Nutribullet !!!

Roz Christopherson don’t forget to clean under the seal as you will find a lot of debris.
Drives me mad as even with a smooth knife to remove you’ll possibly damage the seal

Thank you SOOO much for doing this comparison. I actually have a Nutrabullet and thought that the consistency shouldn't be this chunky and gritty all the time, but as an uninformed consumer, I didn't know any better. I guess the saying is true, "You get what you pay for". I always wondered why someone would spend so much money on a blender when they could get a Nutrabullet for half the price, now I know why. Thanks again Henry for opening my eyes to the truth. I'm sure my Nutrabullet will make a good paperweight when I replace it with a Vitamix.

I went to buy the Nutribullet RX this weekend as my sister in law raves about her’s. I couldn’t find that model anywhere so I picked up the pro series 900. As soon as I took it out of the box and examined the drive mechanism I knew it was going back. The 900 series has rubber gears mated to plastic. It was easy to tell what the most common mode of failure would be. Sure enough, I looked up the reviews on Amazon and there were the pictures of the broken rubber gears. What a crappy design idea. At least the RX has metal gears!
Anyway, long story short, I ordered the Viramix c520 refurbished from Amazon and I couldn’t be happier with that product. The quality is far superior to anything else out there.
Years ago I made the mistake of buying the Blendtec over the Vitamix and I regretted that choice for years. There is just nothing like having a quality machine to work with that you know is capable and reliable. Just my two cents.

Interesting video - After being diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer I quickly moved on to a vegetable and fruit based diet and I began to rebuild the ingredients in my food intake with two objectives: 1) limit tumour growth and
    2) boost my immune system.
A daily lemon was one part of that.
But I must confess I did my Greens drinks with a cheap blender $50 and then got nutri bullet blender on $70 discount. But I squeezed lemons fresh with water. And I ate fresh fruit for vitamin C.

Henry, that was a great comparison! Entertaining to watch and answered every question I could imagine and a few more that I didn't. - And the laugh made me chuckle just about every time. • @metaspherz

Thanks for the showdown demo Henry! In 2013 I invested in a full size Vitamix 7500 with 3 containers (64 oz & 32 oz wet and a 32 oz dry). The smaller containers needed a shorter tamper which was extra. I think the tampers are a really good idea rather than using a spatula or spoon which can be very dangerous too for obvious reasons. The 7500 container was really too big for daily use since I live alone. It's way too easy to make more than I care to drink so I'd have to store the left overs in the fridge. I needed a container for smaller portions. I was interested in the Vitamix S30 at first but decided to buy the 32 oz wet container so that I wouldn't have to invest in another expensive machine. For those that don't need to make very large portions I think that the V-S30 should do the trick but if they already have a full size machine then a 32 oz container should be a good alternate choice. One thing I do like about the V-S30 is its smaller footprint. But I like the 7500's power too. So the 32 oz container offers the best of both worlds to me.

I just purchased on QVC the $650 Vitamix Creations II, with the Wet & Dry Set (purchased before, I started to read your great reviews). This was the most expensive/top of the line, combo set offered on QVC. Combined with my red Kitchen Aid mixer, these are the very best kitchen appliances I have EVER owned!! I will say, I think the Dry container is a good thing, as the design for dry goods is outstanding!! Keep up the great work, you really have set the standard, that few on TH-cam can equal!!!

👀👀👀 WRONG!!! I own a blendtec, vitamix and two nutribullet the pro 900 and the nutribullet pro 1000, they are all a healer and perform well I uses a butter knife to reinstall my gasket on my nutribullets. tools or utensils tools comes in hand instead of hands, I'm a retired excutive chef and I worked around all kinds of kitchen equipment for 30 years, it's not the blender that does the healing, it's the fruits, vegetables an pulp that feeds your cells the nutrients it needs to heal your illness. the pulp feeds the good bacteria in your gut which we all know The Gut: Where Bacteria and Immune System Meet. Exactly why I never discard my pulp out of my juicing! it goes right down my tummy with my blended juices. none of these blender are toys when it to healing.

Very informative clear and precise of the features between the Nutri Bullet and the VitaMix, I've owned my Vitamix for four years, and I've used the NutriBullet too, the Nutri Bullet I use while on vacation serve it's purpose at the time. The Vitamix is, of course, a higher quality machine, but I wouldn't cross out the NutriBullet either, it's economical, and geared for small quantities. My Vitamix I didn't know what all the blender could do until I watch your excellent video.

I just wanted to say thank you Henry. I must say that your video was the most informative! I really appreciate the time you've taken to do this review. I guess I really do have some thinking to do. The VITAMIX S30 does appear to be the better product; however, I REALLY like the new RX soup feature, it literally can cut my preparation/cooking by more than half the time! In terms of "gourmet soups," lets be real about this, most chefs, or people who enjoy making those kinds of meals often employ multiple pots and sauce pans. The fact that Nutribullet doesn't have a pulse feature doesn't bother me, because I can easily finish the soup by poring the soup in a pot with the desired condiments, in order to finish cooking. You did make a good point about the lid and safety. But I also think it would be an even bigger issue if the user has kids (which any appliance of this nature would be dangerous to small children). I'm thinking they may have designed it loose that way, to make sure heat escapes so that the user doesn't have an increased chance of getting burned? Not sure. Interesting though.

Very informative review Henry - your tests and demos really showed some performance, convenience, and versatility features that really matter. I would have bought a NutribulletRX and now will buy a Vitamix because I do want to be able to grind nuts to make nut butter and grind ice to make ice cream which the NutribulletRX clearly can not do well. And I do want to be able to add solid chunky food to my hot soup, not just have it all become liquid. I also definitely want to be able to blend things without using a wrench tool to uncover the lid. So great job. How do I buy a S30 Vitamix at $300 and do you provide a discounted price on the Vitamix 5200?

I have friends who have purchased so many blenders/mixers for smoothies just to end up with Vitamix, all the money down the drain....

Great video. I know someone who got the nutribullet as a gift so offered it to me at a fraction of the price. It's still an expensive item so started doing research. Glad I found your video so I won't waste my money. Thank you! 😊

Very informative & funny to watch, Henry! Try the NutriBullet Select Blender. It is 1000 watts and comes with a tamper. A better comparison to the Vitamix S30!

Good and through set of testing there Henry.
I liked the way you went through the features of the machine, negative and positive too.
You even mentioned the electric consumption.
I found this to be a great review and whilst full of facts was a pleasant presentation. I will look at some of your reviews when you cover a product I am having trouble deciding upon.
Finding the money is a huge consideration.
I will ask though why you did not feature the length of guarantee, whether the parts wear out and/or are replaceable, whether it is easy to do (arthritis) and how long this will extend the life of the product!

I have a Vitamix 5000, and have considered getting a bullet. However, each time I use the Vitamix, it is too easy for everything, cleaning, etc. And works so awesome, I forget about the bullet temporarily.

Thank you Henry. Just finished watching the NutribulletRx infomerical and was wondering if it was really all that they said. I have a Vitamix that I have had for a few years and it does everything and more. I think I will just stick with my Vitamix and buy the NutribulletRx recipe book on ebay or amazon.

I just ordered a s30 through blendingwithhenry about 4 minutes ago! I SWEAR I just bought a nutribullet 900 series a few days ago to take w/me on vacations. I knew I couldn't take my vitamin 7500, and thought that the nutribullet would suffice. I have been out of town for the past few days with this 900 and realized I kept saying saying 'it's definitely not my vitamix,; but it'll be alright until I get back into town'. Here at 3 something am in my bout of insomnia, i decided to do some youtubing about nutribullet and found your video. You have convinced me of the superior quality of the s30 (which I thought was too expensive to buy for just out of town travel that I don't do all that much of), but it is SO worth it. I just ordered a reconditioned s30 via blendingwithhenry.com!! Thank you so much for this review. I can't wait to get back into town and return this nutribullet to bed bath and beyond!
One additional thing: I didn't get any 'special perks' you mentioned at the end of this video! How can I cash in on that??

    • @robertweir5755
      @robertweir5755 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Vitamix doesn't use a heating element. The speed of the blades produces friction to heat the ingredients.

    • @chachavessel
      @chachavessel 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Yup, I guess he didn't fully understand my question.. Friction based heating vs. actual heating element.
I tried the friction based heating and it is NOT the same. It's an acquired taste and it is NOT for me.
I DID find a few with ACTUAL blenders with heating elements ONLINE (shipped from USA) for a song, and it works quite well. BUT, it needs improvement.
Since my original question six months ago, Ive researched the subject, and it appears the American (USA, Canada) market is NOT the the place to sell blenders with HEATER ELEMENTS. (and friction based seems to be unknown, as if they do-not actually explain this part thoroughly) It appears to be a foreign concept. I did find out that it has been tried in the past. (OSTER..?) tried selling a blender with a heating element as far back as the 60's-70's. and I think without much success , and ever since then, quite a few other manufactures have tried without any success as well. Cuisinart stopped selling a model awhile back.......but, it is still available elsewhere in other countries. This concept seems to have some popularity in Europe, Asia, and elsewhere.
I really think it's a great addition. I think that the marketing hasn't quite been able to reach the audience, or it's just to "foreign" for AMERICA. (IMO)

Wow! Excellent Review Henry!! I was all set to talk to my hsb about buying the Nutribullet RX thinking it would be exactly what I needed to get my health back on track. But I'm so glad I came onto youtube to find user reviews of the product and your review, comparing the 2 diff blenders, went above and beyond the typical review!! I'm now convinced I want the Vitamix. One question tho - why are the Vitamix's so darn expensive??? I know its made in the USA and could tell from your vid that it is made with quality parts, etc., but why do they think their blender is so special that they charge hundreds of dollars to buy their blenders!!??!! Even the reconditioned ones are outrageously priced!! But luckily they allow a do-able payment plan so that us normal folk living paycheck to paycheck could afford one - at least the bottom of the vitamix line that is!! So....please let me know why the vitamix is so expensive! Thanks Henry!! So much!!

+dandelion685 "I know its made in the USA and could tell from your vid that it is made with quality parts..."
You basically answered your own question about the pricing of Vitamix machines. Vitamix machines are also hand-built and they use commercial-grade motors. Their machines are the same ones used in commercial smoothie shops. You won't see a NutriBullet or a Ninja in Starbucks or Jamba Juice.
You can get a Certified Reconditioned Vitamix S30 for just $259. That's a steal price for a Vitamix, especially since it's $399 new. You can't tell the difference with Reconditioned and new and you get the same 5 year warranty. Here is a direct link to purchase the S30 in Certified Reconditioned and yes, take advantage of the multi-pay option at checkout. www.vitamix.com/Shop/certified-reconditioned-s30?COUPON=06-008687

Henry, I've seen a good dozen or more of your videos. Your videos are both education and entertaining and your exuberance is infectious. Clearly, you love what you do and it shows. Thanks. Now all I have to is scape up the money to purchase a Vitamix one of these days. Years ago, I purchased a Cuisinart "Duo" that has a base for a blender bottle and a mini food processor. Aside from the machine constantly having mechanical issues, particularly when it overheats, I've had one smoke on me and need immediate replacement, and two more simply stop working and both needing to be returned to Cuisinart for repair/replacement. Cuisinart's customer service is pretty terrible and finding a person to talk to was challenging. But as expected, the machines were returned to me, one died nearly immediately, and the other is limping along. Next time ... I'm buying a Vitamix! And quite frankly, that should be one of their pitch quotes "Next time I'm buying a Vitamix!" because clearly whether it's a Cuisinart of Nutribullet or some other machine, chances are a good that if you think you're saving yourself the money, you'll being buying buyers remorse later. I've always believed that if you need spend a lot of money on something, spend a bit more and get what I really want. I just didn't think this necessarily included blenders and food processors. I hope that Vitamix comes out with a food processor some day like a few other good companies.
