Let's see, if I bring fairy & ice types for Lance, Steven can block me. If I bring fighting & ground type for Steven, both Lance and Cynthia can block me. Cynthia's team consists of various typings that can block each other types. If all three decided to come at me at the same time (Probably in gen 5 remake, because they have a triple battle system), I quit. This is even without gimmicks like Mega Metagross, Mega Garchomp, or G-Max Dragonite (or Mega Aerodactyl, but I prefer Dragonite as Lance's ace).
Someone in an old upload of this posited that if all three pooled their teams together at their strongest, then there actually would not be any weaknesses and all type disadvantages would be covered. Is this true?
I mean, I see this as possibly true. Especially since just Cynthia by herself carries 11 different types in her team, so yeah it's most likely that togheter they would cover every type.
