Just piling on my reasons why she's so overrated. If you wanna have a Champion popping up in other regions, why not somebody else? Steven had like one or two outside appearances, but he could never be battled. Not counting BW2 since that brought back everybody, obviously including Cynthia who now got *TWO* battles there.
@@RoseSupreme While she may be overrated, she is still probably the most universally loved champion in the series. It's good fan service for them to find a way to bring her back all the time. And while I'm sure they could please people with some of the other champions as well, it probably wouldn't make people as happy as Cynthia does.
Jesus I wish Wallace had gotten to be champion in the remakes for the E4 rematchs with a theme like this, it's just such a good arrangement of the Hoenn champion theme. Also Cynthia has to have like 20 remixes of her theme by now between all her appearances.

I really like Hau's champion theme, one of my fav USUM tracks! And its a good remix otherwise but i do not understand why at 17:13 they variate the og melody, it's a bit irritating xvx they did this in his normal battle remix before and i had hoped theyd fix it in the champion remix but alas... Little nitpick but in general pokemas remixes are a blessing, thanks for the upload!
Technically the champion of Alola was Elio, not Hau or Kukui, how the protagonists who are not Red are despised but it is understood being this the only one that the player challenged in the main saga (not counting when you face them in his role as assistant ) and it would be redundant to put them too
It's either Elio or Selene, depending on the version of game events. But... since they represent the player, which means their Pokemon can be... theorically any possible Pokemon up to Gen 7 (and in Champion Stadium E4 and Champions have rotating Pokemon), DeNA decides "F this" and ignored.

It's pretty confusing and I don't get it either, otherwise I have no idea how Hau is representing. Kukui I can understand since he kinda made it. He's pretty strong himself so he's likely a stand-in until they find a new one. Hau got his league challenge theme though. It's very complicated.

Kukui just... waited for first Challenger to defeat E4 and become Champion, then automatically challenged to a duel. Maybe~ he defeated them in before some future Title Defense showdown... But definitely not on the first attempt. And he was there because... someone HAD TO be there, to confirm and to guard. Kukui isn't Alola Grand Champion, he's Alola League Founder/Chairman (and first Title Defense opponent) Just because someone is Champion-class Trainer who could defeat Elite Four in one go, that doesn't qualify them as Grand Champion of Pokemon League - Raihan is said to be on the same level as Champions of some of the other regions, but he isn't one. The same goes for Red and Blue.
