  • We're diving into the delicious world of the Cola Plant (Artemisia abrotanum var. maritma) here in our garden in Fredericia, Denmark (Zone 8a).

    I’ve never heard of this plant before… Sounds like it could be yummy in marinades for chicken 🍗😋 cooked on the 'braai'/BBQ!

    The plant you replaced the cola plant with is a stachys?

      You are so welcome 😂. And yes, it’s a Stachys discolor. Should be perfect in that spot.

    I’ve never heard of the cola plant - duly noted!
    I have a question about your wooden dahlia planter visible in the background - does it have a bottom or does it sit directly on the native soil?

      Yes… they sit directly on the old grass lawn. 🤓We filled them with sticks and tree branches (stuff we had from a tree cutting) and then leaves and compost - and soil at the top.
