My favorite fight was Ganon, him being tanky is the same he is in Link to the Past, they incorporated all of his moves perfectly and even included the lighting mechanic with the torches, such a very well made boss.
The Ganon fight and attack moves patterns was very true to ALttP. I thought it looked innovative and challenging. Some looked hard and not fun at all like Elec man from MM the Chargin Chuck and a few others
I would find SMB3 to be better, simply because I've experienced more with SMB3 than SMW. With SMB3, I have enough fun to try to beat the entire game in one sitting (With Warp Whistles, obviously), but with SMW, I just never got around finishing it, getting bored around the 2nd world

fyi, that music that played before entering the Sonic 3 boss enemy fight in this hack, was Carnival Night Zone's theme I believe. I've played that game so much when I was younger. I don't recall I ever beat that game it comes from though.
Another super cool one, very sad the mega man bosses weren't super developed sadly. I had an idea for a rom hack involving mega man that i was wanting to make after seeing a few of your other hacked games videos. Gods only knows when/if I would ever try and make it since I know nothing about how to do such things yet lol. Great video though, can't wait for the next one.
I think master Chuck was a reference to Jinx from Super Mario rpg legend of the 7 stars, his moves were really similar. Jinx was the master of a dojo in Monstro town, a near end game town full of nice enemies. He has 3 versions, but on rank 3 gives even high level skilled players trouble with his move sets, one hit ko's, flash step moves and high defense. Culex was in that town, a reference to final fantasy 2 I believe, and the gems were the hardest part. This looked kinda like a pit of trials deal, which most Mario rpgs seem to have. Ganon should have been called Ganondorf in that form, but regardless looked tough. Gg on electric man, that health bar was huge. A lot of these bosses were neat, I remember the one with the waves and ice, but not sure from where, I think in a video you did with Lair. I hope he's doing well. Anyway, thanks for sharing. Major (Major Flare), imamelia, dahnamics and HFD (HuFlungDu) are the names of some of the users that made various of the custom bosses used in the hack. Also the thing I used in the selection screen had limited space for the text so I had to abbreviate some things. Elec Man, Shadow Man and Star Man (the last one not shown on this video) take longer to defeat due to their default HP being very high, gotta tell that to syogayaki (that made these bosses). You can't defeat Crystal Core, as that boss has problems that need to be fixed, making it do nothing at all. And also, this hack will be updated as time goes on to add more bosses until I run out of space. If I need to add more when that happen, I'll add them to a separate ROM.

The answer will always be smb3. Best 2d mario by far imo. Smw had perfect controls but so much untapped potential and that is the reason why romhacks are insane for this game.

Both Mario World and SMB3 are great on their own merits.
The Spin jump (if you used it) should had take out at least 7 chunks of Shadow Man health. Since a spinning attack is Shadow Man weakness in MM3.
