    Amazing video. I tried to do a steering wheel but I really struggled with overlapping the carbon fiber at the back. If you could show more in detail how you do it, it would be great. Awesome work, congratulations!

    What is the time required to transform a Mercedes steering wheel from the standard version to the carbon fibre version ?

    Have you had any delamination from the heat?

    Thank you for the response. I really like that finish, because I have tried many carbon fibres and really struggling with distortion in the fibres which looks really bad when epoxy is applied. Do you have any suggestions for me? And is that 245g twill weave? Apologies for many questions, just trying to learn from someone who is really good

      struggling with distortion happen quickly, it's just practice. but i recommend starting with light parts, for example interior moldings, then mirror caps. You need a lot of experience for a steering wheel because the shape is complex. in the future there will be more videos with many different parts 👍🏼

    Hello! What transparent liquid do you impregnate the carbon after gluing it to the part? Thank you!

    What is the type of glue (black) that was put on the steering wheel so that the carbon fibers are stuck to it?

    • @CARBONART.
      @CARBONART.  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is glue for leather, same which you can use for steeringwheel leather. I am put a little bit black Color in the glue

    Was that spray glue to stick it down first? Iv done a few
    Try polyester resin first to help stick down Then normal epoxy resin after. Definitely works I had one where the glue felt like it came off so was like a tube in the end lol

      Hi, yes at first hight Temperatur resistant 2 component glue.
      I don’t like the Methode with the polyester resin. You have there a lot problem with high temperature. A at next the epoxy resin don’t work good with polyester. You must it sanding every time between the layers an best use a special prime. But after all it you have still the problem with first glue layer. It will be work in normal Temperatur country’s but if you have. 40 degree or more on the summer the parts will be damage
