I love how he just talked about a guy on TH-cam who killed over 200 people, and then just "you wanna hear something truly horrifying, 2 out of 3 men will experience some form of hair loss".
If someone says "they're mine, mine mine mine mine mine" about their own children, they don't see their children as people. They see them as possessions.
I feel like the only reason she kept them around was to manipulate them. They clearly believed everything she said and they never questioned her, even when everyone else did.
Honestly as a child abuse survivor, I feel this. My mother didn’t deserve kids, she wanted children but didn’t want the responsibility and encouraged my brothers violent abuse towards me. She didn’t deserve kids, and I definitely deserved actual loving parents.
Right. They never had a stable home, the dad offered to give them one but they were turned against them by the mom, the mom kept causing trouble that the kids would put themselves in harms way to record and they end up losing their mom for senseless reasons

Hearing those poor kids crying and stressing about where they'll be going next just makes me so sick. My mom brainwashed me to think my father was an abuser and didn't love me. She still tries to tell me he doesn't love me. When I was younger, I believed it blindly. I know better now. I hope those kids are in a better place, safe, and are able to heal from all the horrible trauma they were put through.
Hope you apologized to your pop, n no offense but your mother is the worst kind of woman. Playing kids against their dads is an under appreciated problem in joint custody situations. Couldn't imagine how your dad felt during that time
@@joshlewis575 I'm sure he understands and wouldn't want any of his kids to feel guilt and if they did apologize would probably tell them that they shouldn't beat themselves up over it.
My mom did the same thing and abandoned me when I was 16 and when my younger sisters were even younger. Now I realize that she was the monster and dad was the only parent who gave a shit about us all along.
Seeing how Jessica groomed her children is so disturbing. When her child is screaming at their father over the phone, you can tell the child has been groomed to speak like this. No young kid says “my opinion” “you’re disgusting” - they were clearly being taught specific language to use.
Jessica likely did all this because her kids were easy to control and always went along with her, so she manipulated them to make it so that they would stay loyal to her. She trained them to beg not to be sent to their father when recording fights. You can see it in the final video by Jessica.
It makes me so sad because something similar happened to my family. My mom is also most likely a narcissist (she is diagnosed with codependency), and when my parents got in a fight, my dad left for California on my sister's birthday. Reasonably, we were all mad at my dad, however, my mom turned out to be the worst person out of both of them and it took me years to realize it. It took me witnessing her egging him on, instigating arguments and fights, dehumanizing my dad and then comparing me with him on how shitty of a daughter I was, even though I never offended her or gave her any issues for 5 years after this happened in order to realize that my mom was the problem. She expected us to win fights for her against my dad because she's always the victim. When my dad was in California, my mom made us call him and tell him that we didn't want him to return, that we didn't want him in our lives anymore. Now, I know my dad isn't a good person either, he was physically abusive towards her at the start of their marriage, and he was not loyal to her. For many years I only felt indifferent to him as he was never emotionally available for us, but he's not the person who practically manipulated my sisters and I and made our lives now more difficult because of it. He recognizes what he did wrong and he's paying for it by having kidney failure and never being able to leave the house that imprisons both my parents. He's trying to redeem himself to me, and yeah, it's hard, he should've started a long time ago. I still feel indifferent to him, but I don't feel the same animosity against him as I did when I was a child. He's not the one who is actively trying to ruin my future. For a long time, I was forced to take my mom's side without any space for my own opinion and no space to share how I felt about them. This situation with Jessica and the children just hit hard because it reminded me of the trauma I can never bury. It reminded me of a time when I had no voice of my own and no way to protest my situation for the betterment of my sisters' lives and my own. No child ever deserves to have a parent like her. No child ever deserves to be used as a weapon or leverage. I really do hope they are okay now, even if they also carry trauma.
What? Young kids can & do say that something is "their opinion", especially if they're well-spoken &/or well-read! *I* feel more concerned about the overall venom & vitriol they spew out -- because they KNOW deep down that their father's a good man who loves them, & vice versa! They don't really hate him, but their mom has brainwashed then into saying those dreadful things to their poor dad! :-(
The terrified screams and pleas of Jessica's children were the most upsetting thing of this video for me, it really tore my heart. I hope they are being cared for well now.
The last story got to me as someone who's family was homeless and had a mentally unstable mother, hearing those kids cry out in fear of being on the streets really got to me not to mention the fact their own mother forced them to film every verbal fight even going as far as to force them to say awful things to their own father. I do hope and pray they are in a better place either with the father in question or in some foster home.
I think it was more sad hearing her telling her dad she hates him. Broke my heart, my mom was like that but not as crazy. Even tried to script me and my sisster during custody court, now that I know she is crazy I an so sorry for what my dad had went through. But for her to have them and not him, he must have been not stable either. Poor kids...
@@squeaktheswan2007 I hope so, and I hope their dad was able to forgive them for the things Jessica had obviously groomed them into saying to him over the phone.
I work for Madison County, which borders Jackson County. When all this went down I started watching all these videos on The Indigo Mystic’s channel. I watched each one entirely and it was extremely disturbing to see all the signs as each video was progressively more unhinged. Lena was a good deputy and a great person. She deserved much better, may she not be forgotten.

@@afterhighschoolshow3369 not really. The courts fail children all the time. My nephew was left with his mother even though she was found unfit to raise his little sister. You can basically find miles and miles of court documents of children being left with their mothers who are unfit to raise them. This is because in the US mothers no matter how shitty of a person they are prioritized by the courts. As a father you basically have to either prove sexual abuse or physical abuse to even obtain temporary full custody.
Agreed. The whole thing with the video 2 broke my heart and genuinely hurt to watch. I'm horrified, I grief those children had to go through that, and surprised that I didn't cry from the video

2nd story is a clear schizophrenic break. The sudden downward spiral lines up perfectly with the typical age that schizophrenia develops in men. The word salad type speech, extreme paranoia, strange beliefs, and delusions fit well. It’s a shame no one noticed how far he was falling.
@@JasmineNorman2007 how could anyone have helped him? People go on and on about mental health, but what is it you think can be done? He was an adult. He had the ability to make decisions for himself unless a court determines him to be mentally incompetent to do so, which is incredibly difficult to do. So what was anyone to do? There is no way that he would have voluntarily sought help because that is part of the mental illness. His family's hands would essentially be tied if they tried to seek help for him. I don't see how we create a system that allows us to force help on mentally unwell people without that system being abused to lock people up when they should not be. And then we also have the problem with large groups of people that are celebrating mental illnesses instead of encouraging people to get help for them. I don't see how we overcome that movement.
Most of these stories are that, including Jessica later in the video. Why didn't people intervene sooner when it was so clear she was spiralling downwards with pretty obvious consequences. In so many cases these people, with medication, could've led normal lives.

the fact that the kids were brain washed that much by their horrible mother to the point where if anything goes down as a instinct they had to record whatever is going is on another level of insane i can only pray those kids now have a level of normalcy in their lives theyve lived through more trauma than the average adult as kids
Reminds me of the video of cops giving a ticket to a mother with her kids in the car and her refusing to take it, before driving off and starting a high speed pursuit. Eventually, the police get her to stop, and as soon as she does, her kids start getting out of the van already with their hands on their heads and begin dropping to their knees and lying face down. I can't be certain, but it always suggested to me that this wasn't the first time these kids had been with their mom when she got arrested. Sad.

@Monke El Heehoo Jesus man, did you really describe a youtuber not showing the video of a shootout where a woman dies just offscreen as 'blueballing' you? That's fucked up.
That whole indigo mystic thing actually broke my heart. These two children had to go through so much at such a young age, just for their mother, the one person they had ever had (even if she was a horrible person) Was killed right in front of them. I truly wish that woman would've just gotten help instead of hurting her children, herself and the numerous families who had taken her and her children in out of pure kindness. This is truly one of the most heartbreaking things ive ever watched.

I feel so bad for those kids, their mother was so toxic to them. I’m glad they can now be put with loving parents or Sean. Just let those kids have a happy life

@@withy4045 While I agree that they won't recover quickly, I do think that they'll recover eventually. Their father seems to care about them enough to want them to get better, so I'm hopeful.
Adults have to take an active, intentional role in helping kids recover from trauma. Kids have to have safe adults who care for them and will stick with them unconditionally.
That's how the child welfare system works. You may not like it, but Jessica still had rights. As a foster care case worker, I can tell you what likely would have happened if Jessica wasn't a nutcase is that the dad would be granted "temporary custody" in juvenile court, and then been able to fight for full custody in family court.
I never thought I could feel such a burning hatred towards another person. Then I learned of that horrid woman. “The students are so illiterate!” Five minutes later, “Where is all my subjects?” I used to know dudes like this in college. They think they are the smartest person in the universe and are willing to even pick fights with professors just to prove that they’re oh-so intelligent. They really don’t understand how cringy they sound, do they? It’s just a shame that Jared spiraled out of control instead of eating some humble pie and getting himself help.
This has nothing to do with intelligence. Jared is an almost prototypical case of schizophrenia. He could be genuinely smart or not, but that has nothing to do with his delusional ramblings. Schizophrenia is a serious mental illness causing most notably hallucinations and delusions. Schizophrenics don't live in the same reality as others. What he says makes no sense to us. It makes sense only in his delusional world. He may very well believe he is exceptionally smart because in his reality most people really are illiterate. The thing about hallucinations with schizophrenia is that you don't see them as such. To a schizophrenic the hallucinations and delusions are just as real as everything else.
Came here to say this. “Where is all my subjects”. He was out of his mind. If someone only pointed out his incorrect grammar, he may have ordered some humble pie. Also he used the wrong “to” in his ‘Dear Friends’ post.
Lena Marshall was an amazing woman. I was so thankful to know her personally. The only good that came out of her last breath was that Jessica’s kids were finally feee of their toxic mother. We miss you Lena
That's what gets me the most. Thinking about Lena's children and family. It wasn't enough that Jessica ruined her own kids, she had to ruin the lives of countless others too. RIP Lena
Well considering he was trying to add letters to the alphabet, and new numbers, I think when he said “illiterate,” he meant no one else understood his “genius” systems for “understanding the truth” or whatever the hell he thought.
The “Indigo Mystic” was such an odious little narcissist. The toxicity and grandiosity come off from her in waves. Despite her deluded self-image, she was not special. She accomplished nothing but the ruination of several other lives.
I remember hearing about Indigo Mystic through Reddit a few months back, and being absolutely horrified at Jessica’s actions. She not only manipulated and traumatized her children, but was directly responsible for the death of someone else. She was honestly a terrible person, and now her kids have to live with the pain she caused them. I really hope they find some type of stability and peace.
@jhon klan men have been getting fucked in court over custody for many decades. Custody is awarded to women 95% of the time. Even if the male is clearly the stable one in the relationship. I'm astounded the courts even allowed her crazy ass to have the kids to begin with. Justice never prevails.
Jessica’s and her children’s story stands out to me, the fear in their voices reminds me of my own childhood. It’s a specific tone that you can’t replicate, that I’ve only heard coming out of my own mouth or my siblings and in small clips like shown here.
Lmao I couldn't help but laugh all the way through that part. Someone freaking out about literacy, while being completely delusional in most other ways. 😂 Absolutely comical.
Those gunshots and screams in the last video are going to haunt me for a while. I hate to think how badly that wretch of a mother messed up not only her children’s lives, not only her former partners life but also how she took Lena Marshall’s life and took her children’s mother away from them. Truly a tragic and appalling situation.
It's really bittersweet a good mother working to enforce the law had to take out a terrible mother who was essentially terrorizing her own kids. Her death likely ensured those children will be able to have a more stable life with their father now but also cost her own kids anymore time with her. The courts need to start taking mental health way more seriously than they have been the woman was actually chanting and ranting outside the courthouse with her small children in toe how could they have even thought to leave the children with her after seeing that.
The whole third story seriously reminded me of the Dear Zachary case. Though this one was less long and less heartbreaking. A matter of the legal system utterly failing to protect children.

I love this series and I've got to say that for the first time I genuinely felt disturbed. Especially by the first and last case with the latter one in particular. It resonates with me a bit too much, because I had a similar situation with an ex-girlfriend and her mother. Changing homes, not paying rent, avoiding work, manipulation, brainwashing and overall toxic atmosphere. It came to the point that they were trying to manipulate me, to give them large sums of money for "career purposes" at the same time telling me that my career in music is a poor choice (because TH-cam won't get me anywhere, lol). 33:46, this clip pretty much tells me that Jessica is crazy. When she says ‘Mine’ so many times about her children, I can agree with everyone who posted similar comments that Jessica saw her children as objects. She groomed her children to film an argument that she sparks up, she manipulated them to hating their father when he just wanted to get them away from that deranged woman. To top everything off was Jessica being unstable, taking advantage of the kind hospitality of her friends and butting into arguments that she has no part in. Anything else that describes her?
Ikr thank God she’s gone what a monster.. but that poor lady cop, losing her life when out of ALL the ppl Jessica hated & threatened for this innocent person that had nothing to do with taking her kids away or anything at all,, for her to lose her life just for responding to a random house call is just so sad and tragic and wrong on so many levels.. Unfortunately, in one of the cases, the father who received full custody wasn't much better of a parent than the mother was. The most disheartening part about a lot of these videos is that they weren’t crazy unstoppable forces of nature they were terrible events that could have been stopped and had clear signs leading up to them but our current institutions fail so terribly at doing so. No proper help I’d given to those with mental issues, courts fail to prosecute criminals or help children in danger, and law enforcement fails at stopping criminals and rather cleans up the mess they make. It’s so terrible how many of these cases could have been prevented if we were just better at handling these situations.
For the case of the pilot, the fact that his family could tell he had mental health issues leading up to the crash, I agree, it should have been reported and he should have gotten some sort of help. He seems like he would have more than likely consented to the help but you can't really say for sure. For the second guy, 100% he should have been, to be completely honest, locked in a mental institution or at the very least forced to take some counseling. He was very clearly waaaaay off the deep end. However, in the Indigo Mystic case, from what I understand her mental issues only started to show themselves later in her life after she lost that court case. What help could possibly be given to her at that point, humanely, without her giving consent? If she doesn't seek help, she really can't be helped. The courts did the right thing by granting custody to the father and did everything in their power to help the children, they can't really control the fact that she fled with the children so they wouldn't be taken away. How was law enforcement meant to stop her if she wasn't a criminal? Law enforcement isn't able to prevent criminality because you can't predict criminality; it's only once you become a criminal that law enforcement can step in. When she ran away with her children, she became a criminal. Her first run-in with law enforcement as a criminal, she opened fire on police officers. There's nothing more they can do except "clean up the mess" by shooting back at her. I wouldn't say any of these cases are indicative of our institutions failing considering none of this could have been dealt with better, aside from forcing the second guy to get mental help. I'm not really sure where your problems with the court or law enforcement came from here.
@@qmaster5546 the court and law enforcement part more applies to other videos where it is more prevalent. I mean that it’s a major theme for these institutions to fail terribly in many other videos more so than this one.
@@plugshirt1762 You also have to remember that these institutions work as intended and do great things on a daily basis. These videos are a biased data set to draw that conclusion from because cases where criminals aren’t treated dealt with properly make for the better videos typically. It’s a bit disingenuous to say that the institutions fail on a regular basis when these cases make up less than 1% of all criminal or legal cases. I don’t think this is a problem with the institutions as much as you’re thinking it is. I think where we can agree is that we need to better help people with mental illnesses.

Growing up in a chaotic environment, the Mystic story really makes me feel shitty. Things never got to that level, but when you're a kid, it always feels like it's just a step or two away from someone you love dying.
Oh BOY I can’t wait to have my cPTSD triggered….. I’ll watch it through, but I know from the description alone, it’s gunna trigger my cPTSD something rotten
The indigo Mystic is a good case study that there really is some people in this world we're better off without. I have nothing nice to say about her, I feel so bad for all the people she tormented.
I absolutely love the intro/transitions you've created to keep up the vibe. I can only imagine the research/effort that goes into these videos. I get so lost in them
I feel terrible for Jessica's children, they never asked to be dragged through all that nonsense and they shouldn't have been dragged through it. And to think it all was only last year is mind-blowing. Just when I was wondering where she is now, I learned about the shooting incident and found out that she is now gone. I do wonder, though, how her children are doing now and I hope they are okay. I can imagine they are probably still quite shaken up, being that this happened quite recently, but I hope they are at least recovering from it all.
unfortunately, they will probably be forever traumatized and never recover from such a situation. but i hope they are doing better now. they're very likely to be in their fathers possession which is the best outcome for them i think.
I just gotta say man, you've got the best aesthetic of any horror genre channel. With those little segment bits that feel like a Local 58 video, and just your presentation in general. You're definitely my favorite in the genre and I always look forward to your videos!
Local 58 is AMAZING! But I have to disagree. I love Nick's channel as well. But Nick is an investigator. A few of the things he has uncovered are amazing. Though the content of Nick's is horrific it is true things about our world. Where as local 58 is true things about some alternate universe. Lol. But I really was trying to remember the name of a channel that might even take place in the same universe as local 58 but I can't remember exactly what it's called. Something like...the day the sun disappeared? Can anyone help me here?

The court system and CPS FAILED Jessica's kids. Just like they fail many children. They should have been removed immediately, especially after all the videos.
Put yourself in the place of CPS workers. You follow 50 or whatever families where the kids are at risk. The foster care system is very patchy and broken…at best kids are often moved every few months, at worst, a few caregivers just want a pay check, or to abuse kids themselves, and there have been a few cases where kids were taken from parents for drug use, placed with a foster family, then killed by a foster parent. Without hindsight..which if those 50 kids, all of who are at risk, will be killed or harmed by their parents….if any?? These videos were infuriating, but sadly….crazy moms or dads trying to turn kids against the other parent is not that unusual. And if you do guess right…and prevent a child from being hurt, everyone will despise you: kids naturally love parents and believe they would not really hurt them, or that is so, that they provoked it, and bad parents think their kids are taken away unjustly, and no one will ever know you prevented a tragedy. And if you guess wrong, people will blame you as much as the abuser. If you can see the future and know which child will be hurt and which family will get better, and you can legally prove that, then you owe it to kids to work for CPS…you will need to pay for the schooling, and it won’t pay much. If you can do better and don’t, you failed kids just as much.
@@TwilightWolf2508 How come law enforcement didn't arrest her once she ran away with the kids? She should have been in prison a long time ago, the videos of her threatening people while owning a firearm should have been enough to get her arrested

For some reason he actually thinks "literate" means "believing everything that I personally believe" and because no one believed and thought exactly what he did, they were "illiterate". He never even learned that all "literate" means is "able to read written text in your native language", you don't even have to be GOOD at reading to be considered literate, if you can slowly sound out the words on paper and understand them, that counts as "literacy" as per the definition. As a native Tucsonan, I has a cold chill when the first news broadcast mentioned Gabriel Giffords and that Safeway. I remember that day, everyone was uncertain what was going on, people called family members who shopped at the store to make sure they were alright. I was certain that first news footage you showed was of them talking about the shooting, but no, it's so much sadder knowing the whole story.
Yeah, same.. and I was attending Pima CC at the same time as him too, I was there from 2009 to 2013, so watching him walk around there ranting and raving when I was there at the same time is surreal and creepy af.
I'm a Tucsonan too for 33 years and I live right behind the Safeway. That shooting was a complete sham. She never got shot in the head, her assistant who supposedly saved her life was an actor. There was a drill going on at the same time in Pima County as happens 💯 of the time during these so called shootings. It keeps things confused.

I have news on the Jessica's children. In a re-upload of the last two videos, someone comments about how they hope the children learned just how bad her mom was. The official indigo mystic channel replied, and said she and her siblings had realized how bad her mother was.
We knew Jared Loughner when he was in late middle school/early high-school. He'd show up at the school fairs our elementary school put on and scare the children, talking nonsense about shit and talking about killing people. My husband forcibly removed him from several school events. He lived a couple houses down from our babysitter (we moved away from Tucson a couple months before the shooting, thank God because we frequented that Safeway. My husband went there everyday before work) and she said the parents moved away immediately. Big moving truck and all.
@@ZerkinzTV the indigo mystic was just as crazy as Jared was. And add meth psychosis right on top of that. She was definitely turning tricks for drugs and a roof over their heads. I was a bailbondsman. I *KNOW* meth psychosis when I see it. Nobody was controlling them. She was a fake psychic who couldn't even see her own homelessness and eventual death. I feel for her children she used as emotional cannon fodder. It was absolutely sickening. Jared was attending school fairs meant for *little children* 5-10 when we knew him, and he was just as mad as a hatter then. There were no "big kids" there like him, except those escorting their younger siblings or working at the games. He had no friends because he was weird and crazy, even back in the day, back *before* Gabby Gifford was even on the ballot. Frankly, when I found out it was him I was surprised he didn't pull a Sandy Hook at the elementary school my husband forcibly removed him several times. He was a big guy. My husband was bigger. And I always open carried. A lot of the parents did. I often wonder if would have tried something there if he felt we and the children we sitting ducks. He really seemed fixated on it. That school had pretty good security during the school day, but nothing someone with an automatic weapon like his could have gone through.
Small correction I wanted to note: you refer to Gabby Giffords as "Senator" several times when she was a member of the House of Representatives at the time (making her "Representative Gabby Giffords"). Otherwise, very solid video and your channel helps me realize a better mental health system would probably cut down on the number of people such as those who are often the subjects of your content.
Just a small word to Zaharie Shah and his Flight simulator path: In the Royal Malaysia Police report, which got leaked to the media, made it clear that such a route had not only been recovered but thoroughly examined. These route come as no surprise that many regard this as damning evidence of premeditation. However, accourding to investigators its not quite so evident. The data recovered consists of seven coordinates. Two in Kuala Lumpur, two in the Strait of Malacca, one in the Bay of Bengal and two in the southern Indian Ocean. The data was reconstructed from a file that had been automatically generated and saved by the simulator a month before the incident. Its not clear whether the coordinates originate from the same flight session. So its might not be correct to simply trace a continuous line beetween these seven coordinates as they could be from separate sessions.

Damn man, I am glad the kids survived and hope they can get over that insane experience. It is sad that the poor female cop died. The courts should have ordered her firearm rights be taken unless she was eventually deemed OK by mental health experts. I'm pro 2A but she clearly had no business having kids, let alone owning a gun.
even if they had, I believe she was insane enough to take one from a friend or find one on the street. Some people need to have the kids removed from them ASAP and I feel like had they tracked her videos and interviewed friends they could have found those kids. I understand police aren't perfect tho and thats a lot of work. It just sucks it had to end this way
I've lived in Tucson most of my life, and I think most people underestimate how much of an impact Jared Loughner had on the city. In middle and high school I would hear people compare creepy or mentally ill kids to him, saying they would shoot up the school like he shot Gifford and the crowd that day. Most of the people being compared like that, I know logically were not good or safe people to be around, but I know that those comments made things worse for them. Pima Community College certainly lost a lot of is reputation when it happened as well. Their dropout program is well known for its failure rates, and they've tried to cover up their failures by boasting a (frankly limited) medical program. They're infamous for not handling mentally ill people, sending them to mental hospitals without families being notified or expelling those people without warning. My brother, severely depressed and struggling, was forcefully put on break by administration and not long after that, he committed suicide. Their treatment of mental health is one of the main reasons I went to college out of Pima County and away from what I knew most. Arizona government officials had a noticeable increase in security when this happened, but that trend seemed to stay. I've had relatives from out of state comment on how much security we have for officials here compared to their own states. People here are still hesitant to go to political showings because of what happened. Jared Loughner left a mark a lot deeper than I think most people expect. I think it's good to inform people of that.
That's insane man. I was in a mental hospital for 10 days due to depression and the first thing I did the moment I showed up was attempt to hang myself. I did calm down after a few days but still desperately wanted to get out of there. And that was apparently one of the best mental hospitals in New York. I can't imagine how bad the others are. This comment really needs a lot more attention than it's getting.
You're soooo right. On the first day of school in 5th grade, there was a lock down because there was a suspected shooting nearby. I remember kids saying, "I hope it doesn't happen again". My poor baby sister was in kindergarten too. It's utterly shocking that it ever happened.
i'm shocked that I have never heard about the Jared Loughner stuff. I listen to true crime podcasts, and watch videos like this daily. Great content, Nick!
The mother/indigo mystic makes my blood boil in hatred. She's like a more murderous version of my mom. Everything she did seemed so similar to what my mom tried to do. But I was smarter. I knew what was wrong.. and yet she could have killed me and my brother by her drinking and driving. I'm in a better place now and the court system around the place i live isn't horrible thankfully.. but it says alot about the system in general- it reminds me how barely anyone gets rights when their sexually abused too...
The way she made her children record videos every time their was a fight or argument and then the things her daughter said about her father over the phone….smh

I have been there, with no intention to hurt anyone but myself of course, but I was moments away. Anyone there, I know it might be hard to see, but people absolutely do care about you. And there will be moments when you are glad you didn't go through with it. If you have no one to reach out to, there are hotlines. Not the usual one people recommend, unless you wanna be involuntarily committed. Look up "warm lines", they're in every state, and are 100% volunteers that have been through similar situations.
It’s insane to me that it got to this level. Parents get CPS called on them for leaving their child in the car if it’s too fucking hot, there’s not one legal avenue they could have taken to remove those two from the toxic and dangerous life that Jessica was providing them? Like god damn man. “You need to get a job, find a stable residence and get treatment for your mental health” *literally does none of those fucking things. Gets a gun instead* “Ah well fuck it we tried. They’re in the wind now” Disgusting
cps usually doesn't do much unfortunately. had a somewhat similar (but not quite as crazy. no shootings just unarmed attack) thing happen to people I know. cps did nothing and even told us that unless the kids are under 5 nothing usually happens.
the reason is that courts are heavily biased in favor of mothers... so no matter how insane, if they "stabilize" or appear "stable" they can almost guarantee custody despite all evidence... Men have to fight hard
Yeah unfortunately CPS kinda sucks. They really don’t make the situation better, at least for me. I had a similar situation that got so bad my classmates and teachers noticed that there was something really wrong. CPS talked to me and I told them how dangerous it would be for me if they went to my mom and that I was scared and that they should just stay away. I don’t know why Jared’s horrifies me so much. I’ve walked up those stairs I’ve sat in those chairs. My teacher expressed genuine grief when we mentioned his name. She even mentioned that our mental health is extremely important but that she can never forgive what he did. I walked those halls in the same place a murderer did, and I don’t know if I’ve ever fully realized that before.
And there’s so much more we’ve learned about Captain Zaharie in the last couple of months. Before he left Malaysian airspace he held a holding pattern for almost an hour, before he went offline. The plane went down after a 20 minute holding pattern off the coast of Western Australia. This is close enough to get the plane safely down in Perth, with JUST enough fuel. He communicated with the Australian Minister of Defence during that time. His Uncle was a political prisoner, was a dissident against the authoritarian regime in Malaysia. He had been sentenced to death for sodomy (used as an excuse to get rid of political rivals) the DAY before. It was almost certainly a hostage situation.

Seeing the mystic one made me feel grateful that I was raised in a relatively normal household, in spite of my own mental issues. I hope those kids are in a better home now.
Hearing that little boy's stress about being kicked out really did hit me on the soul. I once had a landlord, that was paid up, throw kid-me out of my home when my parents were away. We were within the law and I still regret that my parents didn't exhaust their legal channels back then. That was on top of moving literally ten times in my youth. Kids need a stable home to feel secure and grow into secure adults. For my early 20s all I wanted was a secure apartment that was mine. My standards were really quite low.
A landlord tried this to my mom and I- she definitely ran to the cops who scared her into letting us stay but she tried a lot of things to get us out like getting a pit bull to scare us and what not.

34:58....that whole part made me sad for Sean. What a terrible mother to brainwash her kids like that. If my kids said that to me over the phone I'd be heartbroken...then I'd gather myself and take them back!
People like Jessica infuriate me. Delusional people like her make things up in their head seemingly out of nothing and think they’re so deep in whatever they think is going on they forget about things that matter like her own children. All people like that do all day is just think and think about things and scenarios until they fully believe they are living it. It’s truly tragic that people like her usually don’t get the help they need and especially their children.
The Indigo Mystery, 34:30. This is parental alienation at it's finest. My question is why did the courts give her full custody in the first place? Why wasn't the father allowed to be involved? I think the courts failed the children in the very beginning by not giving the father 50/50 custody. (I recognize there could have been unknown issues going on.)
One of the most criminal and tragic trends of the last three decades is the trend of states to automatically grant custody to the mother in a split without any examination of who is the more able and fit provider and caretaker.
@@DarkFilmDirector More men should also start taking custody battles seriously. This “trend” completely does not take into account that the majority of men are not interested in full or partial custody, at least enough to go through the necessary proceedings.
I agree that many fathers don't take their role as a father seriously. I think our culture emphasizes the father as the provider and protector, but not as having an equal role in providing nurture and relationship. And then our court system says the father is only a good father if he pays child support, and if he pays child support, he's done all he needs to do. But what kids really need is a father who's willing to invest in the relationship. So it's a reinforcing cycle that pushed fathers out of their children's lives, and makes them believe they don't matter. Imagine telling a father how much his child loves him and needs him! A man needs to know his importance, that he matters to his kid. But fathers are told only their money matters.
I have to admit that apparently, most U.S. courts seem to lean toward giving moms custody over the children for a divorce case, without, in detail, going through the background behind both the parents' characteristics and their relationship with each other and their kids, and that is absolutely wrong; however, it's not like dads can't be abusive manipulative shitholes to their kids as well. Take this video for example: th-cam.com/video/PewzVBWzAgA/w-d-xo.html In conclusion, courts should do a better investigation in understanding which parent is more likely to take good responsibility for the kids, which could be the mom or the dad, or take the child's responsibility upon themselves in case both parents turn out to be equally terrible.
same here man been here at around 60k (i think) im glad his exposal of animal abuse blew up, it helps spread the word and he also got massive subs from it
I'm mildly interested in to see the footage from her court cases to see the other side of what actually was going on. It's actually really scary to see the progression of her illness. She's absolutely not eating and is losing her sense of reality. I do hope her children got the help they needed and have grown into well-rounded adults
@Alicianah she also talks like a Sovereign citizen and they're extremely entitled as a rule. But to mention they're basically dollar store anarchists who believe laws and courts don't apply to them, which likely developed from her refusal to accept court decisions about the kids
She was a big Trumper which is very common among the delusional and mentally disturbed. Her girls aren't adults this only happened a year and a half ago in 2021. The address of the house it occurred is 6416 GA HWY 124. When you check Google Street view archive you can see the front door was replaced between the images taken from March 2021 to March 2022. I imagine from all the bullet holes
It’s giving borderline personality disorder with the almost unblinking stare in her videos, the black-white outlook, the pattern of instability, distorted self-image, hair-trigger temper, etc. If this was true, there isn’t much in the way of treatment other than dialectical behavior therapy. Regardless, I really hope her kids are in a better place because that final clip broke my fucking heart in half.

I mean that it’s a major theme for these institutions to fail terribly in many other videos more so than this one.
some people aren't helpable
@@plugshirt1762 You also have to remember that these institutions work as intended and do great things on a daily basis. These videos are a biased data set to draw that conclusion from because cases where criminals aren’t treated dealt with properly make for the better videos typically. It’s a bit disingenuous to say that the institutions fail on a regular basis when these cases make up less than 1% of all criminal or legal cases. I don’t think this is a problem with the institutions as much as you’re thinking it is. I think where we can agree is that we need to better help people with mental illnesses.

The court system and CPS FAILED Jessica's kids. Just like they fail many children. They should have been removed immediately, especially after all the videos.
They didn't really fail, they ordered the kids be taken and she ran away with them before it could happen.

We knew Jared Loughner when he was in late middle school/early high-school. He'd show up at the school fairs our elementary school put on and scare the children, talking nonsense about shit and talking about killing people. My husband forcibly removed him from several school events. In the Royal Malaysia Police report, which got leaked to the media, made it clear that such a route had not only been recovered but thoroughly examined.

That's the most amazing ad transition I've ever seen.

The fathers did not apply for custody.
Take this video for example: th-cam.com/video/PewzVBWzAgA/w-d-xo.html
In conclusion, courts should do a better investigation in understanding which parent is more likely to take good responsibility for the kids, which could be the mom or the dad, or take the child's responsibility upon themselves in case both parents turn out to be equally terrible.
been here since around 60k- I'm so unbelievably proud of your growth. Well deserved!
same here man been here at around 60k (i think)
im glad his exposal of animal abuse blew up, it helps spread the word and he also got massive subs from it
Been here for 100k i think
Indigo mystic: I'll do anything for my children
judge: Find stable accommodation and get some mental health help
Indigo mystic: Not like that
I'm mildly interested in to see the footage from her court cases to see the other side of what actually was going on. It's actually really scary to see the progression of her illness. She's absolutely not eating and is losing her sense of reality. I do hope her children got the help they needed and have grown into well-rounded adults
Living rent free gave her a feeling of entitlement i suggest?
@@lazycowboy666"gangstalking" is a pretty typical hallmark of schizophrenia. I found a Facebook group full of them, all egging each other on and validating their delusions.
The Indigo Mystic might just be the saddest story I have ever heard about from TH-cam... Those poor kids...
Wow the ending in the last story is heart wrenching. Those poor kids man...
my heart absolutely breaks for those poor babies :( I hope they're safe and loved now.
i genuinely fee bad for the father at 34:55 he tried to take custody to give them a good life but the mom manipulated them, the father didn't deserve all that
