I don't think he was actually planning on doing most of that. I doubt he even actually had a gun. He's one of those people who gets off on scaring people by acting crazy and erratic. If the window was open why would he go to the front and casually ring the door bell and ask for permission? Why return when he knows he being recorded and admit multiple times that he was planning to murder someone?

It's about criminal psychology and shows very similar behaviour - a murderer straight up tells the police officer without a shred of guilt how he murdered someone after he's arrested.
That doorbell guy was the scariest thing I've ever seen. Imagine being at work knowing your wife was home alone and he was at the door telling you what he wanted to do. Wow that is terrifying.

Living in a big city like Chicago has seriously made me feel less than safe while just being out and doing normal shit. I'm also afraid someone will get into my home and do something to me too! I keep my doors unlocked so my son can go back and fourth between two duplexes during the day. I’ll forget to lock the door I’ll pay no mind to it. I feel like I was led to this video to start locking my doors religiously. Especially since a man on a bike stopped by my home, was chased away by my neighbors because after I didn’t fall for his tricks, he tried pulling it next door. Very fucking scary.

The video the ring doorbell captured is so terrifying. The fact that there’s more than one of these kind of guys is so haunting and always sits in the back of my head.
And the fact that they can come out of literally nowhere. This is even more terrifying if you live in a more woodsy area we’re police dispatch can take a while to come.
It’s very frightening. The idea that we can be observed from outside our home by the eyes of a predator sends chills. I keep some kind of weapon in each room for that reason, to defend myself with in case a break in occurs. Which actually happened to me once before I started thinking about that possibly and defense.

Theres so many different interpretations of god and what he or she or they or even it might be that i believe that if there truly is something out there beyond our grasp, that god would be open to hear all prayers and not just those who follow a specific religious idea of god. Like im not particularly an atheist as i do believe there might be some otherworldly power out there helping us , but i refer to myself as non religious because i dont actually follow a specific religion or idea of god, or the idea that that power is a specific deity as opposed to just being a unseen force without an identity. It’s sucks. As a person with bipolar and going through years and years of being in denial about it, and being unmedicated for that long, the amount relief you feel when you EVENTUALLY find the right mix of antipsychotic meds, is immense. And it takes years, honestly. It’s just trial and error. I’m so sad for him. He was probably out of his mind when he did that. I feel awful for him and I hope he got the help he needed.
Late to the party but -- this. I have bipolar along with other conditions and the way he said he felt like a zombie when on the antipsychotics...that's exactly how I felt when I was put on them. I had the same thoughts of what's the point of living if I can't even feel anything? Thankfully these days I'm on a med that has literally changed my life for the better, I would be so lost without it.

I feel so bad for the couple in the tornado. I couldn't imagine losing my spouse and best friend, let alone survivors guilt through that. That second encounter is terrifying!
this is a good time to point out that “a tornado is coming your way if it looks like it’s not moving” is kind of a myth. it can be coming right at you even if you see it moving and it could completely miss you even if you can’t see it moving. there’s still so little known about tornadoes just because there hasn’t been a way to safely track a tornado’s speed at all times. that’s why the EF rating is based on the destruction the tornado does instead of its speed
It's also true that if there is a copyright mark in the corner and you hear a flickering noise, it usually means someone has set up a projector in front of your house and is tricking you by showing a film of a tornado on a screen.
That second one was absolutely chilling. Him just outright stating what he intended to do made it even more so. It wasn’t even that late. What if someone were outside or just walking down the street and encountered a madman like that.

The man at the door was terrifying. My sister and I survived a home invasion when I was around 7 years old and she was around 14 years old. It was very traumatizing and still impacts me every day. I’m 25 now, and I can’t live on the first floor; in addition to locking my door, I always use a portable lock whenever I’m inside; even if I know a friend/family member is coming over, I get heart palpitations when I hear a knock on my door; I keep knives on me and in every room of my apartment. Just the thought of the man at the door attempting to get in…. that’s nightmare fuel.
My house got robbed when I was a kid too. But me and my parents wernt home. When we got home tho there were cops everywhere, inside my house and there was a knife on the street. My neighbors said that they saw 3 Asians running. I used to get tutored by this Asian guy name Parker, he used to come to my house and he was a lil older. As I got older I ran into him at a pc gaming store and I can tell he was smoked out. I realized it was him and ppl he knew that robbed my house. He ended up getting stabbed and ended up in the hospital. (Not by me). He lived.
The little girl "waking up" at her funeral makes me so sad as a mom of a baby girl... I can't imagine the pain that family must have felt, losing her but then thinking they had just received a miracle only for her to be gone again two days later. My heart hurts for them... when I'm off work I'm gonna go home and snuggle the heck out of my little one because you just never know what could happen 😔

I need my medication and I freely admit that I'm a complete mess without it. A crying, angry, depressed mess that doesn't want to feel all of those emotions at once. It's suffocating for not only me but also for my loved ones and I hate being a burden to them when I'm going through all of my "mood swings". I hate it, and I truly wish I didn't have it, but goddamn it, if the medication that you were taking before made you feel like a zombie or that you feel it isn't working after a few days or weeks of taking it, tell your doctor it isn't working and they'll be able to give you a new one that'll hopefully help! I hate having bipolar people having this tag on them as 'dangerous' all the damn time when a lot of us don't even take medication for it. I _hate_ being called names for what I can't fucking help.

Exactly! My son has ADHD with some anger struggles and we’ve had to go through some changes until the right meds & dosage was found. He needs his meds just like a diabetic may need insulin.

I don’t have bipolar disorder, but I have dealt with mental health and schizophrenia/psychosis. On one hand, I have also dealt with trauma from medication and psychiatric hospitals. And the awful side effects medicine can give you, both mental and physical. On the other hand, he truly needed help.
People are saying it sounds like the second guy is having a conversation with the voices in his head -- I respectfully disagree. I believe that he was practicing what he was gonna say when she opened the door to try and get her to lower her guard before he attacked her. He was trying to practice sounding non-threatening. At least, that's what it sounded like to me. Like he intended to knock on the door and ask "may I come in?" anticipating her to respond with a "no", before he says "are you sure? I have some questions I'd like to ask you". Just my thoughts anyways. I certainly wouldn't be surprised if it were a conversation going on in his head either, but it sounded like an oddly specific thing to be repeating, especially given the context of him knocking on someone's door.
Plus, people with voices in their head (experiencing a psychotic break or schizophrenic episode) don’t regularly respond out loud, and it’s not a constant repeating of the same thing. I think you’re either right or he he is experiencing some kind of psychosis from drug abuse and has the thought stuck in his head (although if that were the case he probably wouldn’t coherently respond to the husbands questions.)
There's a chance he was just trying to be shocking and creepy and wasn't serious about what he was saying, remember that he likely wasn't even thinking straight at that point
How to get away with murder: Step 1: Don't google "How to get away with murder". Not sure why it was left up to Tebebe himself to maintain med compliance after multiple violent episodes. They make monthly injectable antipsychotics for this exact situation, but instead they just trusted his word despite his entire history making it quite obvious it wouldn't stick.
Step 3: Get some acting lessons so you can at least *pretend* to give a crap about your dead wife with the big life insurance policy. I've watched so many true crime videos where the killer went to all sorts of lengths to set up an alibi, only to make police instantly suspicious by acting like the murder of their loved one had all the emotional impact of accidentally breaking a vase.
The doctors forced the illness upon him. You must be blind. Go look up mkultra. You really think similar doesnt go on? Have you ever taken mental health meds. Some are fucking strong. Makes cocain feel like a walk in the park. Imagine feeling constantly irritated. Grinding your teeth until your gums bleed due to the feeling of you brain feeling like its swelling. Your emotions are thrown way out of wack and you seek a way out.
Seems like the hospital should have also been held liable. They knew he was violent without medication, and he was refusing to take it, but they let him out under the care of his mother, not a medical professional.
@justinburgard4700 of course they can it's called involuntary commitment. He had previously been committed 6 his medication was given to him even though he didn't want it.
the second video is terrifying, especially since the door was made of glass. If the lady was already walking towards the door, he would've been staring straight at her with that creepy, unbroken gaze, and if he was real aggressive, he could've broken in.

as someone with diagnosed schizophrenia and psychosis, the tebebe makonnen story is one of my worst fears. i am on antipsychotics and have been for a couple years, and they've helped me a lot, but i totally understand how he felt when he said they made him feel like a zombie. i've been hospitalized before and it was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life because of how the doctors and nurses at these establishments tend to view psychotic people as less than human. as a psychotic person, you often don't get the same treatment from mental health professionals as someone with depression and anxiety. it's so sad how i feel that the incidents in the story could have been avoided if doctors actually listened to tebebe and tried to work *with* him and his wants and needs.
As a Healthcare professional I try to give all mental illness, even addiction, the same, thorough treatment. As someone with MDD I know we don't all get treated fairly. 😔

Clem has to be one of the bravest people on the internet, if I were home watching a fucking tornado come towards your house, I would have go into a major panic and then either pass out or have a hart attack, whille Clem was able to just stand there and record and pretty much excepting the situation is both sad and badass

We actually see the “resurrected” child thing a lot…sometimes when babies pass and they’re put in cold rooms it puts their body into shock and they start breathing again…it only lasts a few hours usually…quite sad
It doesn't help that when you get close to death and your body starts to gradually shut down your some things can happen. Your breathing can drastically slow and become shallower, blood pressure can also become much lower which makes it harder to find a pulse without better medical equipment. Also body temperature can drastically drop, especially after a severe fever and/or infection. All of these can make it hard to judge if an adult is still alive, children can be much harder to tell and can rarely even trigger false alarms on equipment because the weakening signs of life become so faint. Unfortunately once a situation gets to that point the situation is usually considered to be a fatal point and even if there are minor signs of improvement after it gets to that it is usually short lived and death follows shortly after.
The buried alive: that's what "graveyard shift" is. They used to have someone sit in the graveyard and listen for the "bell ringers", which was a bell above the grave and there was a rope in the casket I believe. The person knew the casket would ring it to notify the watcher they were alive

Back then, people were buried very quickly, and there wasn't as much technology to be able to tell if someone was alive when buried. Someone being buried alive wouldn't ever happen today

I sold Clem a phone at Verizon in Belvidere last year. He is one of the most interesting people I've ever helped out. He showed everyone the video and talked about all the news and weather channels who contacted him for interviews and how much he still misses his wife everyday. Kept all of us and other customers entertained for hours with his stories from his time in the military. Definitely a stand up guy.

I feel as though living in Illinois makes people too comfortable with twisters. Ive known people that have stood and watched tornadoes from their living rooms. Ive had a tornado go directly over my house while I was in the basement. It sounds exactly like a train passing and although it was only a ef2 and didnt even damage our house, it managed to rip a 80+ foot cherry tree our of our backyard. Stay safe and never forget the power of nature.
Ohioan here: I never understood why people wouldn’t always go into their safety place during an active tornado. They’re just so unpredictable and getting stronger every year. That being said, I am the grandchild of a man who stood in the front lawn as a tornado rolled in, so I guess it’s worked out so far
Texas is the same way. My mom didn't even try to find cover or leave the house when two tornadoes formed in the front and backyard. Her car was thrown into the neighbors house while she just sat in the bedroom reading and smoking a cigarette.
The darkest video I've ever seen on TH-cam is a driving video in which a brick goes through the windscreen and all you can hear is a man (driver) screaming as he's just watched his wife die from the brick hitting her head at a ridiculous speed. Heartbreaking, his screams. Knowing that his life's just changed within a second.

I can say as someone that knows some people that have to take anti-psychotics and have seen my own dad struggle with having to be heavily medicated... that Tebebe was correct about not feeling like himself when on those meds. They're mainly meant to make a person drowsy and to a point neutral, almost numb to feelings of excitement or anything positive. Usually if you are someone that is considered a danger not only to yourself but to those around you in such a way, you will become court ordered to take your medicine and physically removed from the places you have been struggling living in so to be monitored closely. Unfortunately for my dad, he was misdiagnosed a long while back and what the meds were supposed to help fix ended up being what gave him the problems he didn't actually have in the first place. Now he has to stay under close watch, can't return home or to live with any family to make sure they can keep him taking the RIGHT medications now. By now his mind is too far gone and some time ago even had early onset Alzheimer's.
I’m not trying to discount your (or your dad’s) experience at all but I also don’t want someone to read this and be scared to try a med that might work really well for them. I take an antipsychotic for major depressive disorder and I can say my experience is vastly different. There are many antipsychotic drugs on the market now and they all work a little differently. They all run the risk of mild to extreme side effects, yes emotional numbness being a possibility, but the drugs introduced in the last 10 years have changed a hell of a lot since the first generation of these types of meds. Haldol is not the type of shit I would want to fuck with if I could avoid it but abilify (what I take) 100% saved my life and made me go back to being me. To anyone reading this all I’m saying is there are a lot of options out there. Pharmaceutical and not. Find a good doctor you trust!!! Keep your mind and options open, build a solid support system, and know that the first medication might not work well for you. Unfortunately it’s a trial and error process to find what works for your brain but it’s so fucking worth it. There 100% is a healthy you in there. I’m really sorry your dad went and is going through that. I can’t imagine what that’s like. Stay strong hun 🤍
@@totaleclipseofthefart No, I completely understand. I was tired out from all the typing and wanted to get to sleep. There's a whole lot more to the story that has taken me many years to get and put together and then face upfront about having to do with my family. I can say that my dad refused to take medications and wouldn't work with any doctors trying to do their job. Meds he did get, he would sometimes trade or sell to neighbors or something in return for either smokes, alcohol, or whatever at the time he'd do it. He was repeatedly on and off his medications so much since he was a young adult that he's basically at this point chosen his path. Intended or not. He didn't want to face his problems but deny they existed and hide from them. .. from this I've learned to do the opposite and reach out for help however I could think to do so even when I was mistreated by other people for it because something 'wasn't right' about it or me to them. I'm just going to leave it at this because there's just so much I could say but it's a lot of very personal things and it also hurts talking about after having to for so many years and now supposed to move on past it. You have not upset me. I thank you for your own insight.

As a kid, I remember seeing that same tornado that Clem recorded pass by close to my house. It was the largest tornado I’ve ever seen, and it still gives me nightmares every once in a while to this day.
Because I watch these types of videos often, I feel like I am mainly desensitized to a lot of the content within them and enter each video feeling pretty confident-HOWEVER, when the man in the second video revealed his intentions in such a calm, matter-of-fact manner, my heart literally stopped. Quite possibly the most disturbing and terrifying thing I’ve ever watched.

Just a warning to those to be aware, that can easily have a sense of false security, if you feel safe because your doorbell has a camera...Don't! That woman was beyond lucky that the creep at her door didn't follow through with his intentions. because if he had really wanted in...he could have easily smashed the door window or kicked the door open! In that event... having accessible protection would have to have been preplanned and arraigned, for her to have any chance to survive that scenario!
And if he had a knife and a gun like stated in the doorbell camera, entry would be even easier or just shooting through the window which was STILL OPEN PTOBABLY! 👀☠️
Exactly. Doors are so easy to kick open if you know where to kick, and locks are so easy to pick---my ex and I used to do it as a hobby (we'd buy locks and door handles at Lowes & see who could pick them the fastest). Alarms & motion sensors can be defeated. And most importantly, cops are minutes to hours away.
I've watched too many murder mysteries to fall into that trap. If only Daniel had take storytelling courses, he could have gotten away with murder... And I know what I'm talking about.

As someone who is 27 but spent time in in different facilities in my teen years, I can promise you there are hospitals and BHUs in this country that absolutely do harm and take advantage of their patients. I found myself in a terrifying place in Tennessee that referred to itself as being a school as opposed to a hospital. But horrific abuse happened there. They get away with those things because people take the word of doctors over the word of psych patients like Tebebe. Not saying that psychosis doesn’t exist, because it absolutely does. But it can be so easy to take advantage of the mentally ill. Like my childhood self. I’m in a significantly better place now. Just because BHUs aren’t like they were in the 1940s doesn’t mean that abuse doesn’t happen!! Sorry to trauma dump in a TH-cam comment section. But this one hit home. So many of us our telling our stories today, but still so many don’t want to listen
Don't be sorry for sharing your story. It hurts me to know that you had to go through so much trauma when you needed help. I wish there was something I could do to help you. People don't realize that no matter how much time goes by, something like this will never leave you. Again I do appreciate you speaking out and I am sorry for everything you went through. You did not deserve it.
Tennessee sucks, man. A lot of the hospitals here treat us like dog shit. My granddad went to a hospital in Gallatin when he had collapsed on his floor, and they did nothing but give him pain meds for a few days. We had to drive him all the way to Vanderbilt, where they gathered a group of doctors and nurses to help him. Turns out he had cirrhosis of the liver, and his hepatitis and cancer had gotten worse.

That is so sad. My brother went through that, it hits home with me. I lost my brother 3 years ago because of the "meds". My brother went through very violent bouts also. No hospitals would help and no other help is out there for people with that mental problems. We ( the family) didnt have the knowlege of how to help. He would disappear for days , even weeks at a time. He left One time in the middle of the night. We found him in Odessa Tx 3 weeks later wandering the streets. We lived 300 miles away from there. We asked him how he got there, he didnt know.

These cases prove once again that mental illness is not a joke and that it has to be taken seriously, even what seems like a mild depression or strange behavior can be a signal that something is not right.

As a man, I am also very unsettled by this. I spent 2 years living on the first floor in a small neighbourhood and I always had the feeling that someone's watching from the streets, so I left my blinds down all the time and opened my window rarely and just for short periods until the air refreshed. Idk, may be it's because I had been living my whole life up until then on the 5th or 6th floor, but the paranoya was real and it's because of crasies like that guy...

I sympathize with Tebebe, going cold turkey on antipsychotics was a terrible idea, and regardless of his mentality he is responsible for his actions. but being stuck in a mental hospital was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life, and doing ECT afterward only lead to more depression and other issues.
sometimes a mental hospital is necessary, good treatments are largely nonexistent or unavailable at a reasonable price. different treatments affect people in unpredictable ways. my family is fairly well off so I've had access to any treatment insurance would cover + a little extra. the things that helped me most were IV ketamine and MDMA assisted talk therapy. case and point ketamine is expensive even after insurance and MDMA is illegal.@@Sewerrat238

The horror story of the 3 yr old happens more often than we know. Coffins opened from centuries ago have been found with claw marks on the coffin ceiling. This often happens with hypothermia. I nursed someone who was in a car accident with her boyfriend when she was 18 and she woke up in one of the drawers in the morgue. She mentally declined after this trauma to such a degree that she needed nursing home care
Oh my goodness that is absolutely horrific 😢 I can't even stand to think about this. I wouldn't even expect her to be able to cope with that it's beyond what you would even call trauma.
Yeah, I've heard stories of people waking up once the pathologist starts cutting them open or the morgue worker starts putting embalming fluid in them.
the thought of not only getting into a horrific car accident that most likely killed what could have been the love of your life, but then waking up, not in a hospital, but the drawer of a morgue bc you were most likely pronounced dead or basically on its couch is anything beyond what 99% of us could ever understand. i think that only those that have experienced the very specific trauma of being buried alive for whatever reason can even come close to relating to this. it’s one of those human things that sticks in your thoughts but that you’ll never be able to comprehend.

That reminds of a 911 call where this guy killed his mom and (I think) his sister. He wasn't angry at them or anything, he was just completely calm about it.
The man at the door was utterly chilling. The phrase he kept saying over and over…. It felt like he was rehearsing. He knew she wouldn’t want to let him in but he’d still ask “are you sure? I just have a couple questions.” Even though she had no choice, he’d come in either way. Horrifying.
And when he was in the middle of answering the guy on the doorbell, he was like “What? Yeah? Are you sure?” He was saying it very quietly between words.
I lived in a small southwestern town in Manitoba, Canada that because of location and weather patterns often gets tornadoes. I'd never seen one before, never had any desire to, but I remember vividly the day I was driving and as said here, if you see it, run. I had minutes notice and remember the absolute drop in my stomach as I slammed into reverse on the gravel road and whipped back around. I couldn't have been more than 200 feet from it but it shook the car like nothing I've ever seen before. Two students ended up dying in another tornado that hit that exact same path a year later. It puts the fear of God in you. Don't stop. Don't look. Just run.
The thought of going through one terrifies me. I've lived in Michigan basically my whole life and only really deal with bad rainstorms that lead to flooding. I can't imagine living through a tornado. Closest I got was a really windy day down in Indiana. It then rained so hard after that I couldn't even drive on the highway because I couldn't see even a little bit in front of me. That definitely puts some intense fear in ya. If you aren't thinking quick, the worst could happen to you.
Man, I really feel for Tebebe. Bipolar disorder has caused so many problems in my own life and I can't imagine how difficult it would be to have comorbid schizophrenia on top of that.
I'm sorry you are going through that. My son, who is 19 on April 5, he has bi-polar 2 and schizoeffective disorder. It's been a long struggle since he was 2. Meds have been both detrimental to his physical health and vital to his mental health. I've also found that services for youth are far easier to get than services for adults. He's in day treatment and gets ssi but having a safe place for him to live while still keeping a safe place for my 13 year daughter is a new struggle. We've never been apart, fact is, he sent my daughters elsewhere to live at times to keep my son close but now, it's my youngest kids turn. Anyways, idk why I needed to say all that but keep on trucking. It's going to be ok. I hope you find happiness and stability. Take care.
I also feel the same I also think that the amount of medicine he was taking was kinda useless because some of the medicine that he was taking (I looked it up ) was just an extra medicine that they put him on and the amount of antidepressants are unreasonable. They put him on medicine that clashed with other medicine that just canceled each other out. I’m not a medical expert but I do take a lot of medicine for a lot of things but I have to take 3 antidepressants…..I don’t think that’s normal they clash into each other and they make me suicidal which is kind of the opposite of what antidepressants are supposed to do. I told a therapist and a doctor and all they did was hospitalized me and put me on another medication for anti anxiety that is also an antidepressant…. I don’t agree with medical people is what I’m saying so I feel for him but that’s not an excuse for murder so I’m not justifying it I just connected with a vid and think it’s messed up
That one video of the guy talking about his skitzophrenia and bipolar issues genuinely terrified me. I also have those issues, but hopefully not to the same degree, and after that video, i’m terrified if the same could happen to me, where my issues worsen to the point of being a genuine danger. Gods, i really want to call my mom and let her know i love her and won’t be a danger to her, but now i’m scared i’ll just freak her out.

That second story is honestly depressing. As horrifying as it is, there’s something eerily haunting and unsettling about people who where once seemingly a normal, functioning individual having something happen to turn them into…this. Knowing that this man was once someone else in a way, and this is what has become of him is just upsetting. I hope that whatever it is, be it drug use,mental illness or both, something is done to treat him and help him rather than just have him end up tossed aside

Do not let your young children watch hellish, violent, torture-porn and horror movies like the SAW, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, and Jason Voorhees franchises, etc. 2. Shield your children from all violent movies in general. 3. Choose your spouse wisely, make a commitment and stick to it. (Provided they're a quality person.) 4. Do not let your child have unfettered, unfiltered access to the internet on any device. 5. Your child shouldn't be spending anytime on a iMac or similar devices. Go outside or read a book and learn something that doesn't include a screen.
That first video is genuinely one of the most terrifying things I've ever watched. It's not gore porn or something with a lot of shock value. It's just the absolute immensity of a force of nature that you're completely helpless against.
I have been in so many earthquakes, at a certain point you just end up being numb to it because what is there to do in the face of natural forces so powerful. There is a painful gutwrenching feeling when it might be but when it really begins, awe sets in.
Imagine being Daniel's younger brother, and how fucked up your family life has become. I truly hope he's in a better situation now and getting the therapy I am sure he needs.

It can, but I believe there’s more good in the world than bad. Most people aren’t bad people or do bad things typically. If we removed all the non-violent drug offenders from prison (as we should, addiction is a medical issue, not a criminal one), we wouldn’t have not even 5% of the population in prison. Focus on the good in the world, and not the bad. Be aware of the bad, but don’t dwell on it.
I struggle w/my mental illness. Depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, & Borderline Personality Disorder. I have never been violent once in my life. I had been in the hospital, and was given Haldol, and even tho i didnt threaten or hurt anyone, i felt very angry, and kept screaming. Thankfully i was just left to be in my room and once it was wearing off i was better.

That guy on the porch is most definitely in amphetamine psychosis. He’s in a twilight dream state. I’ve done very weird shit like that. Went up to some poor women’s house and busted out the windows in her car because I thought I was a government agent. I even waited for the cops because I was sure I was in the right. How fucking embarrassing- I paid for the windows and worked around her house for months. It was my first step on the walk to recovery.
You're correct Dude, not proud of it but I too have spent days going into weeks awake binge taking speed, coke, booze etc (I barely remember my late teens/early twenties I'd lost the plot big-time), that guy is definitely sleep deprived and psychosed as fck, probably got some sort of schizoid disorder to begin with too.
I ran up to some random car at a red light, yanking on the door handle thinking it was my ex wife and some guy. How horrifying. I was an absolute psycho. I'll have 6 months clean in a week!
I felt sorry for Tebebe at first, because I genuinely was misdiagnosed as Bipolar and put on a lot of heavy medication which only made me worse and worse. My life spiraled out of control due to taking those medications. When I found a psychiatrist who was willing to help me taper off all of them, I returned to my normal self, which I wasn't sure I'd ever be again. I only wanted help for social anxiety, and it's still hard for me to find a doctor who will treat me simply for anxiety, simply because the misdiagnosis follows me, and I'm constantly pressured into going on heavy medication which I have to strongly argue against. I did feel for him, cause I can relate to someone being forced or pressured into being over-medicated for a disorder they don't have. Unfortunately in Tebebe's case, he very much did have severe mental illness which required those medications. And it ended in tragedy. :(
@@coyoter9691 That's what messes with me so much in his story. The things that he claims in his video ARE things that actually happen to people. There are shitty pill pushers in psychiatry and there ARE hospitals that will hold patients against their will because they don't trust young patients. The issue is, a schizophrenic will often believe that is exactly what's happening to them when really they're completely divorced from reality. As outside observers, we have no way of knowing which is the case. It's a lot more likely that the person is schizophrenic, though, but the commenters never considered that.
Tornadoes are one of the most horrifying things to me, I've had nightmares about them despite not even living in a place where they're likely to happen. I can't even imagine how people can live in places that get them constantly, or how any structure in those areas has any sort of lasting history. I always feel so awful for the people who lose everything to them, and even moreso for those who die in them and their loved ones. ;w;
The ring cam footage is insane. I live in Las Vegas as well, and a couple weeks ago two men that looked homeless tried to literally follow me INSIDE my apt.. luckily a neighbor was also outside and before I put my key in the door I confronted them and without saying anything they just left. I wish I had ring to see it.

As sad as Daniel's story is, it made me feel good for the briefest of moments that his mom cared about him and knew he was struggling, and saved money to get him an expensive computer to help reinvigorate his interest in information technology.
I have seen parents of kids who did everything right and yet still their kids turn into monsters. Awful for his deceased mother and his younger brother who has had his mother taken from him, some things just never make sense. I don’t know if this kid can ever be redeemed for his vile acts.

It's about criminal psychology and shows very similar behaviour - a murderer straight up tells the police officer without a shred of guilt how he murdered someone after he's arrested.

I agree. I'm constantly on the lookout when I'm out and about alone just because I'm always scared I'll be raped and killed. Living in a big city like Chicago has seriously made me feel less than safe while just being out and doing normal shit. I'm also afraid someone will get into my home and do something to me too! The video the ring doorbell captured is so terrifying. The fact that there’s more than one of these kind of guys is so haunting and always sits in the back of my head.
And the fact that they can come out of literally nowhere. This is even more terrifying if you live in a more woodsy area we’re police dispatch can take a while to come.
It’s very frightening. The idea that we can be observed from outside our home by the eyes of a predator sends chills. Theres so many different interpretations of god and what he or she or they or even it might be that i believe that if there truly is something out there beyond our grasp, that god would be open to hear all prayers and not just those who follow a specific religious idea of god. Like im not particularly an atheist as i do believe there might be some otherworldly power out there helping us , but i refer to myself as non religious because i dont actually follow a specific religion or idea of god, or the idea that that power is a specific deity as opposed to just being a unseen force without an identity. As a person with bipolar and going through years and years of being in denial about it, and being unmedicated for that long, the amount relief you feel when you EVENTUALLY find the right mix of antipsychotic meds, is immense. And it takes years, honestly. It’s just trial and error. I’m so sad for him. He was probably out of his mind when he did that. I feel awful for him and I hope he got the help he needed.

Late to the party but -- this. I have bipolar along with other conditions and the way he said he felt like a zombie when on the antipsychotics...that's exactly how I felt when I was put on them. I had the same thoughts of what's the point of living if I can't even feel anything? Thankfully these days I'm on a med that has literally changed my life for the better, I would be so lost without it.

this is a good time to point out that “a tornado is coming your way if it looks like it’s not moving” is kind of a myth. it can be coming right at you even if you see it moving and it could completely miss you even if you can’t see it moving. there’s still so little known about tornadoes just because there hasn’t been a way to safely track a tornado’s speed at all times. that’s why the EF rating is based on the destruction the tornado does instead of its speed
It's also true that if there is a copyright mark in the corner and you hear a flickering noise, it usually means someone has set up a projector in front of your house and is tricking you by showing a film of a tornado on a screen.

The man at the door was terrifying. My sister and I survived a home invasion when I was around 7 years old and she was around 14 years old. It was very traumatizing and still impacts me every day.
I’m 25 now, and I can’t live on the first floor; in addition to locking my door, I always use a portable lock whenever I’m inside; even if I know a friend/family member is coming over, I get heart palpitations when I hear a knock on my door; I keep knives on me and in every room of my apartment. Just the thought of the man at the door attempting to get in…. that’s nightmare fuel.

My house got robbed when I was a kid too. But me and my parents wernt home. When we got home tho there were cops everywhere, inside my house and there was a knife on the street. My neighbors said that they saw 3 Asians running. I used to get tutored by this Asian guy name Parker, he used to come to my house and he was a lil older. As I got older I ran into him at a pc gaming store and I can tell he was smoked out. I realized it was him and ppl he knew that robbed my house. He ended up getting stabbed and ended up in the hospital. (Not by me). He lived.
The little girl "waking up" at her funeral makes me so sad as a mom of a baby girl... I can't imagine the pain that family must have felt, losing her but then thinking they had just received a miracle only for her to be gone again two days later. As someone with bipolar disorder, I can say that that shit is real no matter what you say or do. I need my medication and I freely admit that I'm a complete mess without it. A crying, angry, depressed mess that doesn't want to feel all of those emotions at once. It's suffocating for not only me but also for my loved ones and I hate being a burden to them when I'm going through all of my "mood swings". I hate it, and I truly wish I didn't have it, but goddamn it, if the medication that you were taking before made you feel like a zombie or that you feel it isn't working after a few days or weeks of taking it, tell your doctor it isn't working and they'll be able to give you a new one that'll hopefully help!

I don’t have bipolar disorder, but I have dealt with mental health and schizophrenia/psychosis. On one hand, I have also dealt with trauma from medication and psychiatric hospitals. And the awful side effects medicine can give you, both mental and physical. On the other hand, he truly needed help.
People are saying it sounds like the second guy is having a conversation with the voices in his head -- I respectfully disagree. I believe that he was practicing what he was gonna say when she opened the door to try and get her to lower her guard before he attacked her. He was trying to practice sounding non-threatening. At least, that's what it sounded like to me. Like he intended to knock on the door and ask "may I come in?" anticipating her to respond with a "no", before he says "are you sure? I have some questions I'd like to ask you". Just my thoughts anyways. I certainly wouldn't be surprised if it were a conversation going on in his head either, but it sounded like an oddly specific thing to be repeating, especially given the context of him knocking on someone's door.

Not sure why it was left up to Tebebe himself to maintain med compliance after multiple violent episodes. They make monthly injectable antipsychotics for this exact situation, but instead they just trusted his word despite his entire history making it quite obvious it wouldn't stick.

Step 2: don't leave a word document on your computer describing the murder
Step 3: Get some acting lessons so you can at least *pretend* to give a crap about your dead wife with the big life insurance policy. I've watched so many true crime videos where the killer went to all sorts of lengths to set up an alibi, only to make police instantly suspicious by acting like the murder of their loved one had all the emotional impact of accidentally breaking a vase.

Seems like the hospital should have also been held liable. They knew he was violent without medication, and he was refusing to take it, but they let him out under the care of his mother, not a medical professional.

Meth will cause psychosis
as someone with diagnosed schizophrenia and psychosis, the tebebe makonnen story is one of my worst fears. i am on antipsychotics and have been for a couple years, and they've helped me a lot, but i totally understand how he felt when he said they made him feel like a zombie. i've been hospitalized before and it was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life because of how the doctors and nurses at these establishments tend to view psychotic people as less than human. as a psychotic person, you often don't get the same treatment from mental health professionals as someone with depression and anxiety. it's so sad how i feel that the incidents in the story could have been avoided if doctors actually listened to tebebe and tried to work *with* him and his wants and needs.

We actually see the “resurrected” child thing a lot…sometimes when babies pass and they’re put in cold rooms it puts their body into shock and they start breathing again…it only lasts a few hours usually…quite sad

It doesn't help that when you get close to death and your body starts to gradually shut down your some things can happen. Your breathing can drastically slow and become shallower, blood pressure can also become much lower which makes it harder to find a pulse without better medical equipment. Also body temperature can drastically drop, especially after a severe fever and/or infection. All of these can make it hard to judge if an adult is still alive, children can be much harder to tell and can rarely even trigger false alarms on equipment because the weakening signs of life become so faint. Unfortunately once a situation gets to that point the situation is usually considered to be a fatal point and even if there are minor signs of improvement after it gets to that it is usually short lived and death follows shortly after.

He showed everyone the video and talked about all the news and weather channels who contacted him for interviews and how much he still misses his wife everyday. I feel as though living in Illinois makes people too comfortable with twisters. Ive known people that have stood and watched tornadoes from their living rooms. Ive had a tornado go directly over my house while I was in the basement. It sounds exactly like a train passing and although it was only a ef2 and didnt even damage our house, it managed to rip a 80+ foot cherry tree our of our backyard. Stay safe and never forget the power of nature.

Texas is the same way. My mom didn't even try to find cover or leave the house when two tornadoes formed in the front and backyard. Her car was thrown into the neighbors house while she just sat in the bedroom reading and smoking a cigarette.

The darkest video I've ever seen on TH-cam is a driving video in which a brick goes through the windscreen and all you can hear is a man (driver) screaming as he's just watched his wife die from the brick hitting her head at a ridiculous speed. They're mainly meant to make a person drowsy and to a point neutral, almost numb to feelings of excitement or anything positive. Usually if you are someone that is considered a danger not only to yourself but to those around you in such a way, you will become court ordered to take your medicine and physically removed from the places you have been struggling living in so to be monitored closely.
Unfortunately for my dad, he was misdiagnosed a long while back and what the meds were supposed to help fix ended up being what gave him the problems he didn't actually have in the first place. Now he has to stay under close watch, can't return home or to live with any family to make sure they can keep him taking the RIGHT medications now. By now his mind is too far gone and some time ago even had early onset Alzheimer's.
I’m not trying to discount your (or your dad’s) experience at all but I also don’t want someone to read this and be scared to try a med that might work really well for them.
I take an antipsychotic for major depressive disorder and I can say my experience is vastly different. There are many antipsychotic drugs on the market now and they all work a little differently. They all run the risk of mild to extreme side effects, yes emotional numbness being a possibility, but the drugs introduced in the last 10 years have changed a hell of a lot since the first generation of these types of meds.
Haldol is not the type of shit I would want to fuck with if I could avoid it but abilify (what I take) 100% saved my life and made me go back to being me.
To anyone reading this all I’m saying is there are a lot of options out there. Pharmaceutical and not. Find a good doctor you trust!!! Keep your mind and options open, build a solid support system, and know that the first medication might not work well for you. Unfortunately it’s a trial and error process to find what works for your brain but it’s so fucking worth it. There 100% is a healthy you in there.

@@totaleclipseofthefart No, I completely understand. I was tired out from all the typing and wanted to get to sleep. There's a whole lot more to the story that has taken me many years to get and put together and then face upfront about having to do with my family. I can say that my dad refused to take medications and wouldn't work with any doctors trying to do their job. Meds he did get, he would sometimes trade or sell to neighbors or something in return for either smokes, alcohol, or whatever at the time he'd do it. He was repeatedly on and off his medications so much since he was a young adult that he's basically at this point chosen his path. Intended or not. He didn't want to face his problems but deny they existed and hide from them. .. from this I've learned to do the opposite and reach out for help however I could think to do so even when I was mistreated by other people for it because something 'wasn't right' about it or me to them. I'm just going to leave it at this because there's just so much I could say but it's a lot of very personal things and it also hurts talking about after having to for so many years and now supposed to move on past it.

As a kid, I remember seeing that same tornado that Clem recorded pass by close to my house. It was the largest tornado I’ve ever seen, and it still gives me nightmares every once in a while to this day.
Because I watch these types of videos often, I feel like I am mainly desensitized to a lot of the content within them and enter each video feeling pretty confident-HOWEVER, when the man in the second video revealed his intentions in such a calm, matter-of-fact manner, my heart literally stopped. Quite possibly the most disturbing and terrifying thing I’ve ever watched.

Just a warning to those to be aware, that can easily have a sense of false security, if you feel safe because your doorbell has a camera...Don't! That woman was beyond lucky that the creep at her door didn't follow through with his intentions. because if he had really wanted in...he could have easily smashed the door window or kicked the door open! In that event... having accessible protection would have to have been preplanned and arraigned, for her to have any chance to survive that scenario!

Doors are so easy to kick open if you know where to kick, and locks are so easy to pick---my ex and I used to do it as a hobby (we'd buy locks and door handles at Lowes & see who could pick them the fastest). Tebebe’s story breaks my heart. As someone who is 27 but spent time in in different facilities in my teen years, I can promise you there are hospitals and BHUs in this country that absolutely do harm and take advantage of their patients. I found myself in a terrifying place in Tennessee that referred to itself as being a school as opposed to a hospital. But horrific abuse happened there. They get away with those things because people take the word of doctors over the word of psych patients like Tebebe. Not saying that psychosis doesn’t exist, because it absolutely does. But it can be so easy to take advantage of the mentally ill. Like my childhood self. I’m in a significantly better place now. Just because BHUs aren’t like they were in the 1940s doesn’t mean that abuse doesn’t happen!! Sorry to trauma dump in a TH-cam comment section. But this one hit home. So many of us our telling our stories today, but still so many don’t want to listen

Tennessee sucks, man. A lot of the hospitals here treat us like dog shit. My granddad went to a hospital in Gallatin when he had collapsed on his floor, and they did nothing but give him pain meds for a few days. We had to drive him all the way to Vanderbilt, where they gathered a group of doctors and nurses to help him. Turns out he had cirrhosis of the liver, and his hepatitis and cancer had gotten worse.

That is so sad. My brother went through that, it hits home with me. I lost my brother 3 years ago because of the "meds". My brother went through very violent bouts also. No hospitals would help and no other help is out there for people with that mental problems. We ( the family) didnt have the knowlege of how to help. He would disappear for days , even weeks at a time. He left One time in the middle of the night. We found him in Odessa Tx 3 weeks later wandering the streets. We lived 300 miles away from there. We asked him how he got there, he didnt know.

sometimes a mental hospital is necessary, good treatments are largely nonexistent or unavailable at a reasonable price. different treatments affect people in unpredictable ways. my family is fairly well off so I've had access to any treatment insurance would cover + a little extra. the things that helped me most were IV ketamine and MDMA assisted talk therapy. case and point ketamine is expensive even after insurance and MDMA is illegal.@@Sewerrat238

The horror story of the 3 yr old happens more often than we know. Coffins opened from centuries ago have been found with claw marks on the coffin ceiling. This often happens with hypothermia. I nursed someone who was in a car accident with her boyfriend when she was 18 and she woke up in one of the drawers in the morgue. She mentally declined after this trauma to such a degree that she needed nursing home care

Yeah, I've heard stories of people waking up once the pathologist starts cutting them open or the morgue worker starts putting embalming fluid in them.

the thought of not only getting into a horrific car accident that most likely killed what could have been the love of your life, but then waking up, not in a hospital, but the drawer of a morgue bc you were most likely pronounced dead or basically on its couch is anything beyond what 99% of us could ever understand. i think that only those that have experienced the very specific trauma of being buried alive for whatever reason can even come close to relating to this. it’s one of those human things that sticks in your thoughts but that you’ll never be able to comprehend.

I lived in a small southwestern town in Manitoba, Canada that because of location and weather patterns often gets tornadoes. I'd never seen one before, never had any desire to, but I remember vividly the day I was driving and as said here, if you see it, run. I had minutes notice and remember the absolute drop in my stomach as I slammed into reverse on the gravel road and whipped back around. I couldn't have been more than 200 feet from it but it shook the car like nothing I've ever seen before. Two students ended up dying in another tornado that hit that exact same path a year later. It puts the fear of God in you. Don't stop. Don't look. Just run.

The thought of going through one terrifies me. I've lived in Michigan basically my whole life and only really deal with bad rainstorms that lead to flooding. I can't imagine living through a tornado. Closest I got was a really windy day down in Indiana. It then rained so hard after that I couldn't even drive on the highway because I couldn't see even a little bit in front of me. That definitely puts some intense fear in ya. If you aren't thinking quick, the worst could happen to you.

Man, I really feel for Tebebe. Bipolar disorder has caused so many problems in my own life and I can't imagine how difficult it would be to have comorbid schizophrenia on top of that.
I'm sorry you are going through that. My son, who is 19 on April 5, he has bi-polar 2 and schizoeffective disorder. It's been a long struggle since he was 2. Meds have been both detrimental to his physical health and vital to his mental health. I've also found that services for youth are far easier to get than services for adults. He's in day treatment and gets ssi but having a safe place for him to live while still keeping a safe place for my 13 year daughter is a new struggle. We've never been apart, fact is, he sent my daughters elsewhere to live at times to keep my son close but now, it's my youngest kids turn. Anyways, idk why I needed to say all that but keep on trucking. It's going to be ok. I hope you find happiness and stability. Take care.
I also feel the same I also think that the amount of medicine he was taking was kinda useless because some of the medicine that he was taking (I looked it up ) was just an extra medicine that they put him on and the amount of antidepressants are unreasonable. They put him on medicine that clashed with other medicine that just canceled each other out. I’m not a medical expert but I do take a lot of medicine for a lot of things but I have to take 3 antidepressants…..I don’t think that’s normal they clash into each other and they make me suicidal which is kind of the opposite of what antidepressants are supposed to do. I told a therapist and a doctor and all they did was hospitalized me and put me on another medication for anti anxiety that is also an antidepressant…. I don’t agree with medical people is what I’m saying so I feel for him but that’s not an excuse for murder so I’m not justifying it I just connected with a vid and think it’s messed up

That second story is honestly depressing. As horrifying as it is, there’s something eerily haunting and unsettling about people who where once seemingly a normal, functioning individual having something happen to turn them into…this. Knowing that this man was once someone else in a way, and this is what has become of him is just upsetting. That first video is genuinely one of the most terrifying things I've ever watched. It's not gore porn or something with a lot of shock value. It's just the absolute immensity of a force of nature that you're completely helpless against.

It can, but I believe there’s more good in the world than bad. Most people aren’t bad people or do bad things typically. If we removed all the non-violent drug offenders from prison (as we should, addiction is a medical issue, not a criminal one), we wouldn’t have not even 5% of the population in prison.
Focus on the good in the world, and not the bad. Be aware of the bad, but don’t dwell on it.

I struggle w/my mental illness. Depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, & Borderline Personality Disorder. I have never been violent once in my life. I had been in the hospital, and was given Haldol, and even tho i didnt threaten or hurt anyone, i felt very angry, and kept screaming. Thankfully i was just left to be in my room and once it was wearing off i was better.

That guy on the porch is most definitely in amphetamine psychosis. He’s in a twilight dream state. I’ve done very weird shit like that. Went up to some poor women’s house and busted out the windows in her car because I thought I was a government agent. I even waited for the cops because I was sure I was in the right. How fucking embarrassing- I paid for the windows and worked around her house for months. It was my first step on the walk to recovery.
You're correct Dude, not proud of it but I too have spent days going into weeks awake binge taking speed, coke, booze etc (I barely remember my late teens/early twenties I'd lost the plot big-time), that guy is definitely sleep deprived and psychosed as fck, probably got some sort of schizoid disorder to begin with too.

I felt sorry for Tebebe at first, because I genuinely was misdiagnosed as Bipolar and put on a lot of heavy medication which only made me worse and worse. My life spiraled out of control due to taking those medications. When I found a psychiatrist who was willing to help me taper off all of them, I returned to my normal self, which I wasn't sure I'd ever be again. I only wanted help for social anxiety, and it's still hard for me to find a doctor who will treat me simply for anxiety, simply because the misdiagnosis follows me, and I'm constantly pressured into going on heavy medication which I have to strongly argue against. I did feel for him, cause I can relate to someone being forced or pressured into being over-medicated for a disorder they don't have.
Unfortunately in Tebebe's case, he very much did have severe mental illness which required those medications. And it ended in tragedy. :(
@@coyoter9691 That's what messes with me so much in his story. The things that he claims in his video ARE things that actually happen to people. There are shitty pill pushers in psychiatry and there ARE hospitals that will hold patients against their will because they don't trust young patients. The issue is, a schizophrenic will often believe that is exactly what's happening to them when really they're completely divorced from reality. Tornadoes are one of the most horrifying things to me, I've had nightmares about them despite not even living in a place where they're likely to happen. I can't even imagine how people can live in places that get them constantly, or how any structure in those areas has any sort of lasting history. I always feel so awful for the people who lose everything to them, and even moreso for those who die in them and their loved ones. ;w;
The ring cam footage is insane. I live in Las Vegas as well, and a couple weeks ago two men that looked homeless tried to literally follow me INSIDE my apt.. luckily a neighbor was also outside and before I put my key in the door I confronted them and without saying anything they just left. I wish I had ring to see it.

As sad as Daniel's story is, it made me feel good for the briefest of moments that his mom cared about him and knew he was struggling, and saved money to get him an expensive computer to help reinvigorate his interest in information technology.

I have seen parents of kids who did everything right and yet still their kids turn into monsters. Awful for his deceased mother and his younger brother who has had his mother taken from him, some things just never make sense. I don’t know if this kid can ever be redeemed for his vile acts.
