I wonder if your mislabeled cornel bronze is maarn/silvia? Did you order from Eden brothers originally? Many people (myself included) ordered cornel bronze from them 2 years ago and it ended up being maarn/silvia! You're so right though, cornel bronze is the MVP of dahlias in my opinion. I was sooo disappointed in my crichton honey too. Mine was mostly highlighter yellow for some reason and I only ended up getting 1 peachy bloom.

It does look like it! I was thinking it was from Swan Island but now that you mention it, I’m thinking if might actually have been from Eden Brothers. Thanks for solving my mystery. ☺️ Hopefully you’ll have better luck with your Crichton Honey too.

Lovely flowers & garden 😍 I'm gonna be growing Dahlias first time this season and im looking forward to it. Could I ask what is that (white-ish) square type of support that you have for the dahlias please? I am trying to find support system (apart from stalking) that I could use for when I grow them. Thanks in advance. ☺

Dahlias are such a beautiful cut flower! I use Hortanova netting from Johnny’s.
