i've been looking for a better way to organize my plans for this coming season, your method looks promising. A bit intimidating with all the upfront work and research, but should be handy once things start going, I tend to loose track of things once summer rolls in. Siera bianca onion has been so good for storing and it gets huge.I start my seed in mid January and is a white onion.

I grow a few heirlooms. My favorite is probably Black Seeded Simpson lettuce. Been growing it for years. The heirloom winter squash Fall Sweet is becoming my favorite winter squash. I bake it, let it sit in the refrigerator several days and it gets sweeter yet. Favorite heirloom strawberry is the Sparkle. It is as a strawberry should be.

Could I ask what is that (white-ish) square type of support that you have for the dahlias please? I am trying to find support system (apart from stalking) that I could use for when I grow them. You grew Lisianthus??? Wow…You’re my hero. I tried Lisianthus from seed…hundreds of them…tried so hard for 2 years and got exactly 2 blooms. 😔 I’m cutting my losses and not buying any more Lisianthus seeds. There’s so many other kinds of flowers, foliage, berries, veggies & fruit to fill my garden that do really well! Your arrangement is stunning! Love it!💐

I wonder if your mislabeled cornel bronze is maarn/silvia? Did you order from Eden brothers originally? Many people (myself included) ordered cornel bronze from them 2 years ago and it ended up being maarn/silvia! You're so right though, cornel bronze is the MVP of dahlias in my opinion. I was sooo disappointed in my crichton honey too. Mine was mostly highlighter yellow for some reason and I only ended up getting 1 peachy bloom.

Thinking this year might be the ones to finally try snapdragons ! Enjoyed your video Karen !

I ordered from johnnys for the first time this year and I got my order about half a month ago im so excited to try out more flowers, Ive got some cosmos zinnias and snaps on it but as well as lisianthus because I really want to see how my 3b Zone will do with them it will be my first time trying them and snaps :)

Your dahlia plants look huge 😍 I’m in Ohio so similar zone to you and I found myself scrambling to cut multiple times this fall due to predicted frost, but didn’t end up getting one until mid to late November. Good one Karen. Nice mix of flowers. I'm sure your feverfew will be OK - my plants came through a really cold winter and are about to explode into flower (in Australia). Other extremely cold tolerant flowers are Sweet William (you like carnations so I'm sure you'd like them) and cornflowers which are one of my top 5 most important flowers - the blue ones are absolutely fantastic in bouquets! 💐

For the basil, I find that it's better the harvest once it has a good bloom stalk on it, & it's feels pretty thick. But even then, sometime it will wilt. But just keep them in water in a cool area, & 98% of them will perk back up! Just came across your channel... I subscribed & will check out your other videos.
