Story of this video: I’ve made this specific video for my friend inside of WhatsApp (this is why the video is mirrored and bad quality). Originally I played it on a piano for my friend, he works at the computer all the time and he always looks sad and very focused, I just wanted to make a melody to make him dance like a “dancing mushroom”. That day (when the video was made) I came to our friends and seen an organ (never played an organ in my life) and recorded this for him. This video wasn’t made for social media but for my friend to cheer him up and now it’s cheered a lot more people. PS: after Bee Theme i’ve started playing a proper organ and I am truly in love. The Thomas Organ Co. engineer Brad Plunkett stumbled into the wah circuit by accident. When the Thomas Organ Company became the US manufacture and distributer of Vox instruments and amplifiers there was one amp that had a very expensive Midrange Boost switch. So Vox asked if the switch could be replaced with a potentiometer (knob controlled) instead. As Brad threw the circuit together and turned the knob he was taken by it's imitative sound of a wah wah trumpet. Quickly he showed a coworker and they realized it would be great for a guitar. So they took a Vox organ volume pedal, took the volume potentiometer out, threw in the wah wah potentiometer and the PC board with the circuit, and the Vox Wah Wah pedal was born. The identical circuit was put in the Thomas Organ Co. pedal they would call the "Cry Baby" Wah pedal. There is a 2011 documentary on the wah pedal called- Cry Baby: The Pedal That Rocks The World (2011). To make the wah circuit responsive by touch, like what is found in organs, the potentiometer is replaced by a VCO (voltage controlled oscillator) circuit.
