I personally believe that the chicken sandwich is a part of the American experience as much as the hamburger/cheeseburger. I remember in the 1980's falling in love with the Wendy's spicey chicken filet sandwich which I still get from time to time. I have to say I love making spicy chicken sandwiches at home and topping it with lettuce tomato and pepperjack cheese and a dollop of ranch dressing.
from a european perspective, it might be even more american than these burgers. because cheeseburgers really are easily available over the entire world, and not just from one chain, but many many serve them. growing up in the late 90s in europe, cheeseburgers were american, but not "exclusive". we all wanted to be american, have american toys, watch american movies, listen to american music, eat american food. there was a time in the early 2010s were you were a king with stuff from abercrombie, because back then, they didnt sell their stuff in europe. same for american eagle. yet, a lot of europes culture is americanised and available, just being copied over here, maybe with some regional touches. theres McD everywhere. BK. bluejeans and nike sneakers. american football is on the rise, same goes for basketball, you see more american flags than german ones over here. However, a fried chicken sandwich? in europe? thats still unusual. the McChicken is probably the next best thing, and it doesnt even hold a candle to buffalo wild wings (which, apparently, isnt even a respected chain in the US, from what i gathered through this channel). This classic american fried chicken sandwich might actually be more american than a burger by now.
Agreed. Its an American staple. I remember being like 5 or 6 in the mid-80s and having a chicken sandwich from Hardee's ( A Hardee's inside the mall nonetheless). Loved chicken sandwiches ever since. I feel like I can make better burgers myself at home, but I eat chicken sandwiches if I get fast food out somewhere. Those can also be made at home, but require more effort.

I'm from Mexico and here we don't have to many options of fast food away of McDonald's, BK, Carl's Jr or Kentucky but nothing more than that, but anyways watching this videos are one of the most interesting things I've ever seen on TH-cam.

Question: Do you ever eat your food hot & fresh? By the time you go get it, get home, set up, 10min in, your finally eating it! Immediate & 45min later, I know, makes a huge difference in taste!
Is it just me or does every food item he gets look so hastily slapped together? I'll often get them after he tries them and notice mine don't look that way. At least he's silently holding them accountable for their poor food assembly.
I am in the same state as you but in that big city in the middle of the state. If you get to my area I would love to see you review a small regional chain called Chicken Salad Chick and suggest getting the combo with the original chicken salad sandwich (it’s chicken salad not fried chicken) and get the scoop of pimento cheese as the side (a scoop of pimento cheese served with crackers). I find it interesting because they do multiple variations of chicken salad which is refreshingly different than everyone else doing fried chicken sandwiches. Take care.

I'm a big wingstop fan. I recommend straying away from their saucy sandwiches and stick to their more dry flavors. For example Lemon Pepper is amazing as the sandwich sauce. Its fantastic
@@uhhfins so pretty much it's just a boneless wing right. I've tasted all their flavors and their bone in and out options as well. I noticed that the chicken is much better with dry rubs. Lemon pepper especially leaves the chicken juicier

I had the Cajun sauce sandwich and it was not bad. I would have prefer the sandwich to be plain and then have the selected sauce on the side or just a drizzle. Having the whole filet coated in sauce causes the chicken to get soggy.

What are your thoughts of fast food places putting piping hot fried foods in styrofoam containers with no parchment(where the styrofoam is melted from the heat? Zaxbys is notorious for this. Is it carcinogenic to eat the wings that have melted the styrofoam I always get an off tastes with them
It's definitely unhealthy to get a dose of styrofoam in your digestive system. Search what effects microplastics can have on the human body. It's the same thing.

You should've tried a dry rub sandwich along side the sauce one for a more fair chance. I had the lemon pepper one and from what you've said it definitely seems like the better one out of the 2 types

I've only just started watching this channel, but it's made me realize that the only food review/mukbang channels that DON'T make me sick are ReviewBrah and Yuka Kinoshita.
We have had the Wing Stop chicken sandwich here in Columbus, OH for about 5 months, its really nothing special, it's a regular FROZEN chicken sandwich with decent sauce.
My sandwich took 30 minutes to make at the store, was raw, then they offered to only remake it, no refund. Then I DMd them after posting the picture. They left me on read for 3 weeks after they asked for details. No reply. I commented the raw sandwich pic again on another of their posts…it got 10K likes and 750,000 views. Their most viewed tweet. They saw this and called back and I demanded more money due to being left on read for weeks. They wouldnt go higher than $15. Screw them. It’s not about just having a raw sandwich, it’s being not listened too for weeks and the fact if I didn’t post it again and got a ton of views, they’d probably not care.
Your video came up in my "suggestions". It was a reaction to comments video. I never watch food critic videos or anything, but anyhow I never heard of the "reviewbrah" (not sure how you'd spell that). I could't believe how horrible people are. There's truly something wrong with those who spend valuable time wanting to hurt people. I thought I'd take a moment to compliment how you handle those terrible and disrespectful comments. I thought you were very funny, sophisticated in your response, and relatable. I've watched tons of your videos since that initial discovery and find them all very amusing. We have had the Wing Stop chicken sandwich here in Columbus, OH for about 5 months, its really nothing special, it's a regular FROZEN chicken sandwich with decent sauce.
The one on Morse Rd. didn’t impress.

Had the sandwich last night (habanero) and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a bit small, but $7.99 for a combo I can’t complain.
My sandwich took 30 minutes to make at the store, was raw, then they offered to only remake it, no refund. Then I DMd them after posting the picture. They left me on read for 3 weeks after they asked for details. No reply.
I commented the raw sandwich pic again on another of their posts…it got 10K likes and 750,000 views. Their most viewed tweet.
They saw this and called back and I demanded more money due to being left on read for weeks. They wouldnt go higher than $15. Screw them. It’s not about just having a raw sandwich, it’s being not listened too for weeks and the fact if I didn’t post it again and got a ton of views, they’d probably not care.
Your video came up in my "suggestions". It was a reaction to comments video. I never watch food critic videos or anything, but anyhow I never heard of the "reviewbrah" (not sure how you'd spell that). I could't believe how horrible people are. There's truly something wrong with those who spend valuable time wanting to hurt people.
I thought I'd take a moment to compliment how you handle those terrible and disrespectful comments. I thought you were very funny, sophisticated in your response, and relatable.
I've watched tons of your videos since that initial discovery and find them all very amusing. I think more people should put on a suit. Perhaps they'd be much happier.
