I want to follow the instructions on this so bad. However the clutch assembly nut spins even with the primary locking tool in place. Am I missing something here? The primary was opened up with no real evidence of anything wrong other than non magnetic metal chunks found inside the primary cover. I thought I could just pull the assembly and see if anything is wrong with the primary side of the engine/ transmission case.
Yes, exact same principle. You’ll have a nut on the engine side rather than a bolt as shown in my video. Jim’s tool 2318 or make your own. The 4 inch brass hinge trick I mentioned is a bit too small for your m2
Hey boss I got a 2000 x1 new battery dies and voltage drops when started . I’m trying to test stated but I’m not sure if the wire that’s on right side going into motor kinda under battery/seat. I tried to test the connector but I’m not sure if it’s the right one or if I’m doing it wrong . There’s a grey and black one with orange silicone it’s connected to gray black doesn’t have anything connected I can’t find anything on internet about the connectors I’m lost man :/. I’d rather check before removing all what’s needed
Actually in the process of breaking down the engine on my x1 and this is the first/only video i could find that actually helps me out
Thank you for this video. Precise, simple, straight to the point. You saved me 500$
Excellent!
torque specs would be nice since not everyone has a manual

I assume you have your clutch plates removed then?
Will this work on a 2002 buell cyclone m2. I need to replace the clutch disc
