I agree with you, I think serum is the “treatment” step (unless your retinoid comes in a cream or sth). I like to use toners to get hydration and nice ingredients, like green tea, Centella, HA into my skin but I would absolutely prioritise a serum with any “actives” over a purely hydrating serum. I mean, yeah, I’d love a Centella or a snail serum, but if it has vitamin c or niacinamide or peptides I’m way more likely to go for that one. I’m a bit feral over snail so once my face chills a little (literally, my face is on fire right now, I think I might be sensitive to sea buckthorn oil) and adjusts to retinol I’m getting the Benton snail essence to use in the morning with my propolis ampule, bc my CosRx snail essence is a bit “cling-filmy” for daytime, and when that one is done I think I will go for the new dual snail essence they launched bc it also has niacinamide. Just snail everywhere * Elmo on fire gif *
That Tiam serum is reallly calling my name right now. Delivers all the benefits that my skin needs: brightening, acne benefits, sebum control, barrier strength. Ahh. Serum of my dreams.
I definitely purged when I first started it (which Kelly warned about in the vid I got the recommendation from awhile ago), but I absolutely love it now and it's a staple in my routine!
Hi Kelly I love a good serum to help with hyperpigmentation, hydration and brightening. I love the Krave Beauty great barrier relief for brightening my skin. I love the Purito centella unscented serum and Beauty of Joseon snail and Ginseng serum for hydration. I also use a Tranexamic Acid serum
I love the BoJ ginseng and snail serum too. They just released a ginseng water essence that looks so good!! I want it but wasn’t willing to pay $15 shipping. I’ll have to wait til it’s available on Amazon or YesStyle.
I don't know enough word how I thanked u. I have heard your tutorial a couple of time. Its a great lesson those who are looking for their skin care products.
Finally I tried the By Wishtrend Polyphenols in propolis ampule from your box and ohh boy what a magic in a bottle :D I started using retinal so I am experiencing more pimples than usual and this really helps to calm them down and soothe the redness. Thank you again! ^^
HI Kelly, I did like this format. Specially the RNW . Complementing and boosting vitC and retinol. Yes I would like to know more complementary serums like THE PERFECT PAIRS ...😍. Thanks you very much

I’m currently using 4 different iUnik serums for my combination to dry skin: black snail and beta glucan in the evening and propolis vitamin and noni oil in the morning. I like them all but will be looking to replace the noni oil when it’s gone. The Stratia serum looks interesting!
Hi, my skin has improved so much thanks to you, thank you for this video it is so helpful for my acne-prone skin! I would love it if you could do an overall review of Bonajour 😊
Great Video Kelly! I have been using the benton high content snail essence for about a month and although, I have a normal skin without any acne, I can see some brightening benefits already. My skin looks like I had a good salon facial recently. Thank you for introducing me to this.
I’m using the iunik snail serum rn and I just ordered the mugwort one. I’m really glad they r in your good list but my concerns are a little bit of calming with a little bit of acne help and a lot of pigmentation help. Wanted to get the beauty of Joseon glow oil but it was the only product that said 21-30 days vs the rest 1-2 days so I dropped it 😂💔
Wow, truly an epic video full of useful information. You’re a kbeauty genius Kelly. I’m always excited to try your recommendations. Stay safe and God bless.
Hi Kelly, I just love how you go in depth with the products! Your content is so informative, really appreciate it. Love your personality as well. I have been using K beauty products for over a year now, and just now I know quite a bit about what ingredients work for my skin and what my skin needs. I am still seeking how to build a steady routine though, and have questions like: is it either better to focus on one skin issue, or to focus on multiple issues with several key ingredients in your routine? Does consistent use mean everyday, or is two or three times a week enough? Do you need to have a steady am and pm routine or do you adjust it to your skin condition? I would really love a video from you that helps me out 😊
This was a really interesting video, it gave me some new ones for me to try. What I really wanted to ask your opinion on is copper tripeptide use in conjunction with retinol. I have now read a few different articles to not use these in the same routine and the same with vitamin C routine, which means I can’t squeeze it into my morning or evening routine. I wanted to know if you had read or researched this at all. Have you tried the Illiyoon ceramide soothing ato gel? I just bought it to use during our hot as hell summer, as something else to try out in this line. I now have cream, lotion, water lotion and shower gel 😃I don’t think there are many more versions of this line I haven’t tried, except for the sunscreen which has fragrance in it 👎🏻. Stay safe and sane with lots of love from Australia ❤️😊
Are u gonna get the new wishtrend cica peptide milky serum sounds really nice I think it said 7 or 9 peptide, I'm gonna order it I think , idk why I need so many barrier serums,.lol I keep ordering them I have the mediheal baboa serum I my cart too.
Lovely video as always!😍 Kelly what do you think of the Pyunkang Yul ATO Mild Sun Cream? I saw on yesstyle and it 75ml for such a great price! Was wondering if you tried it
I live in a tropical country, but my skin is going through some changes for over a month now (i have fungal acne prone skin), but lately my skin is itchy and rough since I figure out it transitioning into becoming drier. I think Benton Aloe Propolis isn’t enough for me anymore, but moisturizer for fungal acne prone skin is ssoooooo hard to find. So what I do is i am experimenting with serums. What can you recommend for calming my skin for fungal acne prone?
I’m loving tamanu oil right now and didn’t realize it was already in the BoJ glow serum!! Already on my second bottle. Fell in love after you featured all 3 BoJ serums a few months ago. I’ll have to check out that Be Plain serum. I also love sea buckthorn and I saw an artemisia eye cream from Be Plain that looks lovely too!! I was also wondering if you still like the Jin Jung Sung essence? I added it to my Amazon wishlist awhile back based on your recommendation and when I finally purchased it the other day I saw you left a good review. Just used it for the first time and my skin felt so soft and smooth. But I haven’t seen you talk about it in a long time. Did your feelings about it change??
What a great review!!! At the moment...Be Plain vitamin , Klairs oil drop,Rewind are all in my rotation! So curious about the RNW brand..thanks....How do you feel about algae? I am using Skyn Iceland youth serum! Would love to know what you think!!!
Excellent video! Can you recommend a good hydrating glowy moisturizer for the winter months. I have dry dehydrated acne prone skin and have tried the pyunkang yu ato cream but didn't really like it. Thank you
Hi I'm currently using the Aqulabo lotus serum and the Isntree tw bifida serum in the morning. At night I alternate tretinoin/niacinamide prescription and an azelaic acid product the second night. I have mature, dry, dehydrated, rosacea and eczema prone skin. I use the cosrx snail essence morning and night btw. The Iunik snail serum was very irritating for some reason (must be one of the plant extracts at the latter part of the ingredient list) so please patch test that one on sensitive skin. I have previously used the Klairs watery oil drop and enjoyed it also. The Isntree bifida serum gives good redness reduction on my skin and at 88% of the product is the star ingredient. The lotus serum is very gentle and full of great antioxidants, whilst being fairly affordable for a good size bottle. Best wishes.
How do you feel about the Benton Fermentation Essence? I've been considering it for a few weeks now, because I really love the sheet mask, but they dont come in packs. I've never heard you mention it before..
Wish I’m Plain ampoules said how much Arbutin it had in it. I am really looking a combo of niacidamide and arbutin product. I have been using the Ordinary nacidamine and Arbutin separately and they are so sticky. I would really love an alternative which had both ingredients in it and was more comfortable on the skin! Kelly do you have any suggestions ? I really do not enjoy these Ordinary products. I am using the Benton Snail essence and serum right now.
Ummm let me finish lol..... Black Snail serum I meant to say for my youngest daughter who was in a horrific ATV accident last year and is dealing with scar tissue and healing in her face. Our head plastic surgeon said she could start to put creams on her face - just no harsh acids. Hydration and moisture - calming and wound healing are all good And some anti aging serum for me the momma😊 BTW your skin looks AMAZING Kelly and I’m really enjoying your channel 🥰 Have a beautiful weekend! Tammy Roy 🇨🇦
I’m using the Repair Serum (BOJ) and Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA (TO). I also have prescription tretinoin. I’m interested in getting that Watery Oil Drop once I finish the Repair Serum.
Thank you for this video. This is off subject but is it ok to use NEOGEN LEMON PEEL PADS and TRETINOIN? Not on the same day but on the off days? My skin has not gotten really crazy with the Retin A I think because I am using your recommendations on Tret Face. But I have these gauze pads and the vita c serum. I want to use it.
Will you please tell me what your code is for OLIVEKOLLECTION? I can't get this link to work. Thank you for all you do. Everyday I learn something new from you.
Hi Kelly, any chance to review treatments or serum base on EGF? I actually start using Instree EGF after you had spoken about it once. It is amazing. However, I Like to know what other options are out there as I understood they have discontinue it. . 😅
I think you should look into Tosowoong green tea eco brightening essence...it's double the size of Benton green tea serum, but also cheaper. I haven't seen you review it? Despite of the name, it can be in the serum step.
Wow, so comprehensive. 🥰🥰 Have you tried BHA in wash off form? As someone with combo and sensitive skin, I find that much easier to tolerate. If only I could find something like that for AHA.....
@@piaromano6008 True, I've seen those. But a little scared to try bc of the high concentration of aha. I'm someone who finds even 5% glycolic acid toner to sting too much.....

It does subside though, and I leave it on for the shorter recommended time, 8 minutes. When I wash it off, I don’t notice anything crazy in terms of irritation, but I then follow it with the I’m From Mugwort mask- aaaaaahhhhhh 😂 highly recommend that combo 👌🏻 that then cools, soothes, offers some hydration- I basically have a brand new face when I’m done 😂😂😂 I saw someone mention a lactic acid product- those are definitely a wonderful option for sensitive skin if you have trouble tolerating anything else! I noticed when I went to place a yesstyle order their shipping time is a lot longer on express orders. I need to place a big order so going to either use yesstyle or stylevanna.. Have you noticed shipping time quicker on one site vs. the other?
Kelly my cheeks are mad at me (vit c situation) do you think mugwort or Centella to soothe them? Also I can’t figure out how to find the full ingredient list on the YesStyle website any tips?
If I want to try snail products for the first time if I have acne combination skind and I like Brightening anti ageing affect and my skin isn't to much sensitive what to try
I've been using that serum and had to stop halfway, yes it was effective but then my skin seems irritated in the long run...Got the glow that I've been looking for until pimples just kept coming back which all calmed down when I stopped using it..I didn't use or change anything from my routine that time..I've read that high percentage of any products may be irritating to some..But then, it all boils down to our skin types..I plan to introduce it again in my routine and use it at least twice a week..Hope this helps..😊😊🇵🇭🇵🇭
In my opinion, no big difference in formula but only the potency and texture. I wouldn't include all those in my routine as it will just be over-layering same benefits, but would choose which step in my skincare routine (toner, serum, moistutizer) I want to include green tea treatment and select that accordingly.
@@noana5803 Yes, I would. However if yoy have oily skin and are looking for green tea line, I find Isntree's green tea toner & green tea emultion are better in my opinion, as it soothes & control sebum production really good. I remember Kelly also have the same opinion on the toner as she stated that before in her comparison video. Benton's more hydrating and light too, but personally prefer Isntree's for my oily/acne prone skin.
@@noana5803 like willow bark I guess? Yup perhaps Benton one is friendlier for sensitive skin. Totally no problem for oily skin to try Benton, in my opinion.
Constant cycle of acne and dark marks here. 8 months of Tretinoin and it’s still happening. Sucks to fight anti-aging and breakouts at the same time on easily hyperpigmentated skin 😩 I ordered Stratia Rewind last night. Would this be suitable for actively acne prone skin?
Anyone know if vit c is like retinol where you can build up a tolerance over time? I wanted to start using vit c and bought a seabuckthorn cream (purito) thinking it would be a gentle way to introduce it but my skin still reacted. I have been using it taking a few days break inbetween uses. I don't want to waste my time with it though if it's not something that gets better and I'm just irritating my skin. TIA
I'm using the purito vit c serum and it irritated the hell outta my skin when I first tried it. At that time I had a number of active acne and my skin barrier was very compromised. So I let my skin heal for a week and only tried soothing and calming products during that time. After that I again tried the C serum and it wasn't as irritating as before. Then I started using it every 2-3 days. And now I use it every night without any irritation at all. So I suggest if you have wounds from acne on your face or a compromised skin barrier then give your skin some time to heal first and then go with strong actives. Always build up your tolerance before starting using actives daily. And if it still doesn't work may be your skin isn't handling it well. Drop that ingredient in general from your routine.

I noticed when I went to place a yesstyle order their shipping time is a lot longer on express orders. I need to place a big order so going to either use yesstyle or stylevanna.. Have you noticed shipping time quicker on one site vs. the other?
Great comprehensive review 👍
Kelly my cheeks are mad at me (vit c situation) do you think mugwort or Centella to soothe them? Also I can’t figure out how to find the full ingredient list on the YesStyle website any tips?
You should try the skin1004 centella ampoule! It has 100% centella and 100ml big.
Serums are treatment. Cleanser prepares your skin for serum and moisturizer seals it in
Didn't she say the Benton Snail Bee serum is anti aging too? In another video? Something about it building collagen?
Pls advice how to layer them?

I’m completely puzzled...what to choose: isntree mugwort ampule or I’m from mugwort essence? What is more effective?
Great question
I was puzzled with this too in my last purchase. I finally ordered the isntree ampoule and I love it, very hydrating
I’m from essence is the best
Tiam b3 source serum is good for sensitive teenage skin?
I've been using that serum and had to stop halfway, yes it was effective but then my skin seems irritated in the long run...Got the glow that I've been looking for until pimples just kept coming back which all calmed down when I stopped using it..I didn't use or change anything from my routine that time..I've read that high percentage of any products may be irritating to some..But then, it all boils down to our skin types..I plan to introduce it again in my routine and use it at least twice a week..Hope this helps..😊😊🇵🇭🇵🇭
please review missha artemisia serum 🙏🏻
is there a big difference between the benton green tee lotion, toner and serum? im a bit new to korean skincare
In my opinion, no big difference in formula but only the potency and texture. I wouldn't include all those in my routine as it will just be over-layering same benefits, but would choose which step in my skincare routine (toner, serum, moistutizer) I want to include green tea treatment and select that accordingly.
@@tojin would you say they are all good for oily acne prone skin?
@@noana5803 Yes, I would. However if yoy have oily skin and are looking for green tea line, I find Isntree's green tea toner & green tea emultion are better in my opinion, as it soothes & control sebum production really good. I remember Kelly also have the same opinion on the toner as she stated that before in her comparison video. Benton's more hydrating and light too, but personally prefer Isntree's for my oily/acne prone skin.
@@tojin yes but I’m kinda scared because it has a lot of irritating ingredients
And the benton one is better for sensitive skin...
@@noana5803 like willow bark I guess? Yup perhaps Benton one is friendlier for sensitive skin. Totally no problem for oily skin to try Benton, in my opinion.
I enjoyed your videos! I feel like i can really reply on the information you have provided
Do you know of other products that contain acytle hexa peptide? Im sure I spelled it wrong. Lol
Constant cycle of acne and dark marks here. 8 months of Tretinoin and it’s still happening. Sucks to fight anti-aging and breakouts at the same time on easily hyperpigmentated skin 😩
I ordered Stratia Rewind last night. Would this be suitable for actively acne prone skin?
hii is it okay to double cleanse with micellar water and a normal cleanser if I wear sunscreen and no makeup at all
Yup, that is double cleansing.
Its what I do
Anyone know if vit c is like retinol where you can build up a tolerance over time? I wanted to start using vit c and bought a seabuckthorn cream (purito) thinking it would be a gentle way to introduce it but my skin still reacted. I have been using it taking a few days break inbetween uses. I don't want to waste my time with it though if it's not something that gets better and I'm just irritating my skin. TIA
Start with low concentration like Klairs Vitamin Drop Serum. It has only 5% vitamin c.
I've never managed to use vitamin C except just using rose hip oil

Kelly must be blood type A. She is sooooo organized, like really easy to follow through her reviews more so than other skincare youtubers.
Me living in the Philippines where most of these products are unavailable: 👉😭👈
Shopee or Lazada. 😊
I get everything from Shopee. You need to ensure that seller is trusted and sells authentic products. Read the comments.
Any recommendations po? ‘Yong Alam niyong nagbebenta ng mas mura kaysa sa iba?
@@kath4623 scott summers is correct, i rely the product’s authenticity through feedbacks or if they are from mall shops. I think products are cheaper when bought online, When I was in the Philippines, I used to shop in Watsons but they are a bit pricier than online. Skincurator is a legit reseller of some k-skincare if you find it confusing sa Shopee. Search them in IG.
@@kath4623 i compare stores. Kung saan pinakamura na trusted, dun ako bibili 😂

I guess so lol

The rhythm of her delivery, I find disturbing. I think my teacher that taught us to read would emphasize random words.
