Yeah man, my steps to the build were. Manual swap, stand alone, FFIM, then boost. I have an extra 2J block I want to build and swap over when ready. I’m thinking 400whp on his set up, and 800+ with the built 2JZ

I was debating on which car to put my manual trans into first my sc or gs but after watching your motivating vids it's definitely going in my gs hahaha you got a ig page or anything?

I will use my car as a daily driver and don't want to lose AC and other stock necessities in the car. will add turbo next year as well. For now just the ecu + tcu + gearbox.
Did you have any issues with the ecu throwing the car into limp mode? and would i need the Master ecu to run this setup or could i run this without it? i dont necessarily need the 2 step and everything.

@tbjr253 I was very tempted to go that route! But in Texas we have large temperature swings. Most of the year it’s hot but we can get pretty cold in winter too, I know it would’ve been struggling lol

90mm throttlebody is $60 but dbw is the way to go with that intake because no IAC.
Yeah, the dang iac valve. I suppose the higher end Intake manifold come flanged for an IACV already so it might make more sense in that case for DBC

how’d you get the coil pack cover on there? does it just bolt in once you install a different intake manifold and make space
I had to use 2jzgte vvti valve covers
How did you fit the GTE Valve Covers on your GE Head?
They bolt right up, no mods needed
@@BoBuilds thanks. I had always heard 1 bolt isn’t aligned and I was planning on getting these expensive valve covers that fit the spark plug cover.
@DriftChrisSC it’s true that 1 bolt doesn’t line up but it really doesn’t hurt anything. No leaks at all

2004 SC430. But a GS400 and GS430 of the same body style will be direct bolt in as well
