As I'm watching this video, I looked around my living room and was like, "I have a style and didn't even know it"😄
I am so thrilled to see you feature this design style this week. I have always found myself drawn to this style as opposed to all other styles no matter how beautiful they look. I like the neutral soft organic Nordic style. As you mentioned, it's exotic. I like that it contains round decors and uses neutral colors like cream/off-white, taupe, charcoal, and so on, to make it not look flat and boring. Again, thanks for sharing your knowledge and tips as always, it was enjoyable. 🤎🖤🤍

Brian, you would love, maybe, my kitchen table. It was my parents when they first got married in the early '50s. It's oval, including the center extension (which I've forgotten the name of), laminate?, which was vastly different from the counters you tend to think of. The center is creamy tan, probably a sort of faux marble with a 3-4" border and side which looks like a wood of sorts. The legs are tapered, ending in brass feet, about 6" long. I've been trying to find chairs that would complement it, but also be sturdy enough for my husband and I. Any thoughts? I've got a couple ideas, but I'm always open to suggestions.
This organic style is something I’m doing within our house.. we’re starting with our kitchen. It’s a small house. But just want a very calming Hygge space and I’m such a minimalist. I like coming into the house and my mind to feel clear from the outside busyness. Thanks Valentina for this video 🤎

This is the palette I've used in my apartment and it bounces the light around without the harshness of white. Some rooms have camel accessories, some have a cooler greige. So soothing.

I love bringing organic elements into my home. I have a more traditional style and I feel organic elements soften traditional and make it feel more welcoming, less formal.
Recently, my husband and I were walking on the beach in San Francisco and found a beautiful piece of driftwood that looks astonishingly like a sculpture of a woman. Like something you would see in a museum of an ancient stone statue. Headless, just the torso. Everyone who sees it is amazed and can't believe it wasn't made by human hands. We are currently having it mounted as a sculpture and will proudly display it. Nature truly never fails to invoke wonder and awe.
So glad the organic is trending in homes.
I have a wood kitchen and was struggling to decide if I should paint it. After this video I know I won't. I don't like the tone of the stain currently so I will strip it and stain it to something more to my liking. The grain is beautiful and paint would obviously cover that up.

Hi Valentina, what an informative video ! I am so glad that I choosen organic aspect. Presently we are renovating our master bathroom and we are doing the special technique with the “cement looking” all over the bathroom, floor,walls and ceiling all in one color. In Greece this technique is called πατητη τσιμεντοκονία and is very popular years now eg to Mykonos, Santorini and to other Greek islands. I have decided to incorporate mat black finishes. Can’t wait for the end result 😊 Thank you so so much for sharing this video ❤
My house was built in 2005, and I see a lot of these features in it. Lots of arched doorways. There are also a lot of warm neutrals because it was built before the whole gray explosion happened. Also, the "default" wall color in new builds at that time was light cream/beige rather than white.

I would like for you to talk about curtain rods, and where to find them with long lengths, corner rods, type of rods for certain curtains and windows, etc. I just bought another home, I am decorating it in all these warm neutral colors, black and brushed brass light fictures. I did minimal and monochromatic but honestly I felt empty & sad/ we are home 99% of the time for remote work & we would need a lunch of fun! But the colors & tones are nice but an accent wall or modern accent wallpaper would be nice. Or fun area rug etc. lol I am complicated 😂

But vases aren’t going to fix my 1983 builder elenents or cat stained white carpet on the third floor of a condo with HOA restrictions galore. I’ve ideas, but am paralyzed. Sorry to disagree but while I love the use of plants, natural materials -these all neutral, all beige rooms look boring and sterile to me. Just as bad as the all grey trend we thankfully ended. I prefer color. 😌
